Dan Dakich dedicated the first segment of the show to our little pal, Bro Bro, Brody Stephens, and everyone in the community who were inspired by the strongest person we know.  (29:43 mark) Colts GM Chris Ballard called in to talk about the latest hire in the front office, culture inside the building and why they got a steal in the draft with Malik Hooker.  (51:36 mark) Mike Chappell of Indy Sports Central discussed everything happening with the Colts in the offseason and if he likes the latest front office hire.  (1:02:34 mark) Vince Lodl who is part of the TV crew with ESPN not only makes sure the games are on TV but he knows how to make you money in horce racing.  He proved it.  (1:13:37 mark) Oriol Servia of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing dropped by to talk about the month of May, competing in a spot for the Indy 500 plus wait to you hear what he nicknamed his team.

The show was full of great guests on Friday starting with Vince Lodl who broke down the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby fields. Dan then talked with former Ball State basketball star Franko House (21:10 mark) after he recently signed with the Chicago Bears. House talked about the process of working out for NFL teams before the draft and what position the Bears are think fits him best. Dan also spoke with Temple football coach Geoff Collins (26:40 mark) about the Colts' fifth round pick, former Temple cornerback Nate Hairston. Collins also talked about the Colts' second round pick, cornerback Quincy Wilson, who he coached as the defensive coordinator at Florida. Finally, ESPN's Kara Lawson joined the show (33:00 mark) to talk about the NBA playoffs.

Dan opened the show up today talking about LeBron James and other athletes who were once men amongst boys. He also revisited the topic of famous people he would love to punch in the face. Additionally, he gave his insight on what other moves the Colts should make this offseason.  Mike Wells of ESPN joined the show (17:00 mark) today to talk all things Colts and Pacers with Dan. The two also chatted about LeBron James and his dominance in the NBA and what they would like to see happen to the Pacers this offseason.  (35:11 mark) Back to just Double D on all things NBA, Pacers, LeBron James, tales from IU in 08 and the randomness that is Dan Dakich. (1:11:57 mark) It's Intern Matt's last day and he had a couple questions for DD before he hits the reality of looking for a job. (1:18:40 mark) Mike Tirico of NBC Sports chatted with Dan Dakich ahead of hosting his first Kentucky Derby coverage and you can check it all out on NBC Sports Friday and Saturday.  Dan and Mike also discussed NBA playoffs, LBJ and if he misses calling NBA games this time of year.

Dan started the show this afternoon by talking about Isaiah Thomas going off last night for Boston, Steph Curry and the Warriors dominating and how much fun the NBA playoffs are to watch.  (24:19 mark) From Coach to Coach with Rick Venturi and Dan Dakich is the absolute best breakdown of the Colts and NFL you will hear anywhere else.  Rick studies everything in-depth like no other.  This week, he broke down each draft pick by the Colts.  (1:08:22 mark)  Jeff Goodman of ESPN who covers CBB chatted with Dan Dakich about Thomas Bryant from Indiana and if he'll make an NBA roster plus other prospects to keep an eye out for before the draft.  (1:25:10 mark) Zach Banner out of USC and Colts 4th round draft pick talked with Dan Dakich about being picked up by the Colts, how the process went down and what famous person he kicked it with while at USC.

Dan opened the show on Monday by talking about the incredible life of Brody Stephens, who passed away over the weekend. Throughout his fight against cancer, Brody positively impacted every person he met and his story touched thousands. Dan talked about how when he was in the hospital, Brody set up a lemonade stand and raised $250 that he spent on Legos for other kids in the hospital. Monday's show was dedicated to Brody and his family. Then, Dan got into the changes in the Pacers leadership as Larry Bird stepped down as the team's president this morning. New President of Basketball Operations for the Indiana Pacers Kevin Pritchard talked with Dan Dakich this afternoon (20:40 mark) about Larry Bird stepping down, his view for the future, how to keep Paul George, missing George Hill and a series of other questions surrounding the current team. Later in the show, Dan continued on the Pacers as well as reviewed the Colts draft picks and explained why he has a good feeling about the guys that new general manager Chris Ballard selected.

Dan Dakich gave his opening monologue about the Colts taking Malik Hooker as their first round pick in last night's NFL Draft.  (16:00 mark) Conrad Brunner of 1070 The Fan chatted with Dan Dakich about Larry Bird stepping down from the Pacers today, how it will impact the team and if Kevin Pritchard is the right man to takeover the job.  They also discussed Malik Hooker to the Colts.  (34:59 mark) Rick Venturi joined us again this afternoon to give his thoughts on the Colts taking Malik Hooker plus where they might go in the upcoming rounds this weekend.  (48:25 mark) Andrew Dakich commented on graduating from Michigan, the NBA Playoffs and what his next move might be.  (102:28 mark) Coach Urban Meyer of the Ohio State Buckeyes joined Dan Dakich to talk about the Colts taking Malik Hooker, why he was a good choice, plus his comment on some of the other players with the Colts out of OSU.

For most of the show today, the Pacers were the dominant topic with Dan Dakich after being swept in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.  Dan not only talked Pacers but the rest of the NBA Playoffs as well.  (23:22 mark) Brian Windhorst of ESPN dropped by to discuss the Pacers and Cavs playoff series, LeBron James and a look around the league at the other playoff matchups.  They also agreed that LBJ is not slowing down.  (1:17:30 mark)  Surprise guest of the day, one of our favorites, the great Landon Turner called in to comment on something that a caller had called in about earlier in the day.  From hunting turkey and deer to basketball and the Indiana Hoosiers, this is a must listen to conversation.

Dan Dakich started today's show talking the Pacers in game 3 tonight against the Cavs, if they'll be able to even up the series after Sunday, the big win for Zionsville softball and why 4/20 is the national time and day for "Weed day."  (14:01 mark) Mike Wells of ESPN NFL Nation called in and discussed what the Colts needs are with the NFL Draft quickly approaching. The two also previewed game 3 of the Pacers vs. Cavs series and talked about the struggles of the Pacers in the first 2 games of the series. Additionally, Dan and Mike talked about the difference between Larry Bird and Ryan Grigson. To wrap up the interview, they chated about the Colts and the upcoming season with their new GM Chris Ballard.  (35:35 mark) Indianapolis Colts tight end Erik Swoope joined the show and the conversation began by talking about the offseason workouts so far for the Colts. Dan had Erik talk about his first "on-the-field moment" in the NFL, how he is still growing as a football player, and about his unique journey from college basketball at University of Miami-FL to the NFL. Erik also went into depth about how the love and support from his family has helped him succeed as not only an athlete, but as a human.  (51:50 mark) Also on today's show, Dan broke into song which allowed us all to hear his impressive singing skills. (1:02:56 mark) Former teammate of Dan Dakich and IU star Uwe Blab called in for Thursdays with Uwe to talk about many random things including what he is doing, playing career in the NBA, the current NBA Playoffs along with his best memories from being in Bloomington and playing at IU.  (1:31:32 mark) South Bend native and former BGSU and Alabama player Gehrig Dieter talked with DD about growing up in Indy, how he ended up at Bama from BGSU, playing for Nick Saban and what happened in the championship game loss to Clemson.  (1:39:50 mark)  Dane Tofteland of the Indiana State Sycamores baseball team dropped by the show to talk about the most ridiculous game you might ever hear of after 2 grand slams and 11 RBI's plus how he ended up in Indiana from Canada.
