 Episode 90: Playing Favorites | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:38

The last podcast of the year is here, so we're going to share the games, music, movies, and television that stayed with us through 2010, knowing fully well that your opinions may vary. No apologies! This week's featured Nerd Rage was created by Steve Cash. You can check out Steve's YouTube page and Sylvester the talking kitty cat over here. Special thanks to listeners, guests and supporters for a great year and also thanks to Cassandra for being my partner in crime for all 90 podcasts.

Episode 89: Off Topic with Off Topic | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:55:48

This week we are joined by Hendrix and Binary667 from the podcast Off Topic. You might also recognize them from Super Happy Funtime Show (Hendrix) and Three Player Game (Binary667). We were snowed in and decided to have a Skype conversation, which we recorded for your listening pleasure. Hope you like it!

Episode 88: Caroling Zombies in Ugly Sweaters | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:42

Cassandra is mad about 'Mad Men', but drinks too much brandy and forgets every video game that she played all week. Tara revisits 'Halo: Reach' and gushes about 'Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood' multiplayer. Mid-show, we hear about the Zombie Christmas Carol. Our main topic this week: The Grinches Who Tried to Steal Christmas. All this and more, in the magical episode 88 of The Most Popular Girls on the Internet!

Episode 87: Lettin’ It All Hang Out | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 52:23

Hello! Welcome to episode 87 of TMPGOTI. This week we're recording at the new Ice Station Studio C where we are still working out some of the kinks (like a wobbly table), and Tara has decided she must go pantless (trouserless) since I'm always half naked at her house. We touch base and talk about Tara's new guitar and song writing attempts and my intentions to record songs since I have a recording setup. For the break, you all get to hear my first attempt at a song! It's a special geek and gamer version of Santa Baby, which I hope you all enjoy. If you happen to want to add it to your holiday rotation, you can download it here: Gamer Santa Baby In the news.... We talk about NASA discovering a new life form and the new xBox Rewards program...and Tara's butt sticking to her chair. *snicker* Enjoy!

Episode 86: Doing It For Charity | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:31

"It's going to be one of THOSE podcasts," proclaimed Cassandra. By the time I had sprayed my keyboard with the Red Bull which was forcefully ejected out of my nose during the second half of our recording session, I had to agree with her.

 Episode 85: Archiving Video Games | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:19:13

ATTENTION: In this episode, we experience some technical difficulties from minute 21:30 to minute 27:07. This is due to a new mic. Stick with it...the show goes back to normal after minute 27. I left in the garbled bits because it contains some good stories. Sorry! This week we are joined by our bff and awesome-sauce librarian Michele to discuss the process and possibilities of archiving video games now and in the future. Thanks to our fellow UGN podcast GameBurst for giving us the idea for this juicy topic! We're also in a new studio (Cassandra's Clubhouse) and trying out a new mic (the Blue Snowball), so the sound is a little different. Like I said, there were a few kinks, but that's show biz, folks! During the break, check out this awesome Super Mario beatboxing!

Episide 84: Black Ops Has 100% Natural Zombie Bewbz! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 51:33

Dear Internet, I learned some new things this week. For one thing, don't accidentally save your podcast files over one another, and if you do, have a good plan to make it all work out -- such as this plan right here, "Never do that again, young lady!" Yep, that one works for me. Oh yeah, here are some other gems from the week: 1) Don't read a magazine by its cover (tits are neat-o). In this week's topic, we discuss why some of the men and women of tech are riled up over Wired Magazine's latest cover art. We know at least one blogger has written a "Dear John" letter to Wired over it. and this makes us wonder how much power tech magazines have on shaping people's attitudes towards women in the industry. 2) Just add zombies. Before we get all serious and begin burning our bras, we need to talk about some games. Black Ops has hit the store shelves. We're all about the multiplayer and the cool Easter Eggs within the game. 3) If loving gadgets is wrong, then I won't want to be right. All these years, I have been in awe over people who have to have their game sound set up perfectly. I was always just happy if I could hear when the bad guys on the television were shooting at me. Sure, I guess it's good to know when to move out of the way, but I couldn't figure out what the big deal was over game sound. With just one purchase of some surround sound headphones, I entered into a deeper form of gaming immersion. Is this a good thing? Well, it depends on who you ask. For once, I could tell which direction shots were being fired from in a game. I could hear opponents changing out their weapons, their footsteps on stairs and ladders. In other words, I have converted into being a sound snob. Well, maybe I'm not that bad... yet. Hey, if you see me moving speakers and televisions around, it's time for an intervention. You can shout back at us at tmpgoti@gmail.com

 Ep 83: ANYWAY…Is Chicken Sex Deviant? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:15:13

This week, The Most Popular Girls on the Internet tackle the Supreme Court! We give our .02 on the case of California vs the Gaming Industry that was presented to the Supreme Court on Nov 5th. There's even some role playing involved! In the first half of the show, Tara discusses her foray into chicken sex in Fable 3 (complete with sexy music), Fable 3 glitches that aren't so great, and she's getting ready for some game battles. Cassandra has finally started playing Portal (Thanks, Steve!), is LOVING The Walking Dead, and is trying to revive her sickly Zune. Oh, and there's a song about geek and gamer girls.

Episode 82: A Lil’ Hair of the Fable 3 Dog That Bit You. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:09:23

Cassandra and I sat down to discuss Costume Quest and naturally, Fable 3, after having done the pee-pee dance over it for the past year. Episode 82 was recorded on Saturday October 29th, before I had a chance to play multiplayer; these are our very early impressions of the game- the things we like, and the things we don't. The list has grown longer since we had our recorded gab session and we'll be sue to fill in the blanks on the next show. Be sure to tune in next week for a discussion on the new XBOX LIVE Dashboard Update, and something which is sure to make you snort milk out of your nose. Even if you aren't drinking milk.

Episode 81: Hello, Would You Like To Play A Game? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:32:39

Don't ask me how a girl who loves shooting people on her XBOX, can't stand to watch scary movies without every light in the house on, because that's where Cassandra comes in. She can eat piece of pizza in a dark living-room while watching a guy getting his face eaten off by a zombie. That being said, she doesn't like shooting people in games, so it's plain to see that we are so different that if the zombie apocalypse happens, we'll need each other. Along with a lot of flashlights and pizza. Due to these differences, our main topic today is, "What do you like in a game?" As far as what we don't like in games, we'll touch on that a bit too. Confession time: I remember screaming and throwing a controller once over a game. The name of the game was Anger Management. Also in this episode: Cassandra gets a new television, and fills us in on the obscure scary movies that she's watched this week. That is, when she wasn't drooling over the Bayonetta demo on XBOX Live. Now we know why her previous television fried. Meanwhile, I've been slaughtering innocent villagers in Fable 2, and geeking out on Anime (sans tenticle porn). I have also thought of a rating scale for movies which are as follows: Johnny Walker - This Movie is a bottle of "Fuck Yeah!" Bacardi - A damn pleasant experience. Tennants Super Lager - Holy Crap! What the hell just happened during the last one-hundred and twenty minutes of my life? Mad Dog 20/20 - Movie best viewed with television unplugged. This week's Nerd Rage is brought to you by Kate Miller-Heidke. Are You F*cking Kidding Me? In the News... (chicka-chicka) The robot computer cars are taking over! Ye Old Victorian Computer - Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine to be brought to life. As a result of this podcast, I've learned that humans are contradictory beings and now that we have wrapped up our recording session of Episode 81, I am feeling very human.

Ep 80: Fable Fangirls and Other Pee-Pee Dances | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:10

This week we do the pee-pee dance for the games we are most excited to play in the upcoming months. Especially Fable III, which comes out on Oct 26th. *squee* In honor of my Horror Movie a Day marathon, I stuck in a song about emo vampires.

Episode 79: American Geeks In London. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:46:07

Whilst falling on my face in front of Buckingham Palace, I knew this wasn't going to be just any ordinary trip. From finding Sonic Screwdrivers to having cowboys in our kitchen grading me with an "F" on my "Britishness Test", I just want you to know dear readers and listeners, that this visit to England has been graded A for Awesome-Sauce. Thanks to everyone from listeners to pod-casters, for coming out to our London Meetup. An acquaintance of mine once described internet meet-ups as being something like an old school reunion. I would now like to present to you, our TMPGOTI American Geeks In London Yearbook and the "Most Likely To" Awards. We'll be back to normal video game discussions and abnormal antics next week, so please enjoy the show. In the meantime, please check out these podcasts!  Episode 4: Zombies Ate My Brains! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 41:14

This'll be a short description because I slacked off and haven't post yet. So, here's the show. I'll update with links later! http://themostpopulargirlsontheinternet.com/shows/TMPGOTI_Ep4.mp3

Episode 2: The (White) Russians are Coming! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 47:29

Welcome to Episode 2 of the Most Popular Girls on the Internet! I apologize in advance for all the giggling, but Tara and I imbibed White Russians throughout the show and I was tipsy. Maybe we need a two drink minimum for the show. Download the show (right click, save as) In this episode, we start by touching base on the geeky things we've been up to. Tara's hand is now deformed from playing too much Xbox and I finally got to see the Daily Show and Colbert Report for the first time, as well as the X-Files movie, which is a big bummer. Then we get into some interesting stories of the week: OH NOES LJ IS DYING!!! Virtual London West End for cyber shoppers New Actor Selected to Play Doctor Who Sacrafice a Friend (or 10) and get a free Whopper Links to stuff we mention: MyShape.com Otherland Snowcrash We end with some nerdrage that is both terrifying and hilarious. You should really check out the YouTube video because there are hilarious subtitles. At this point, we should have dolled out some geek advice, but we were way too tipsy to go on and decided we'd be better off ending things
