Meanwhile, your's truly is taking over the city of Steelport in Saints Row: The Third with Zombie Estelle Getty. Things shift to a more serious (but not too serious) note as we share our opinions about the soundtracks to our digital lives. But wait a minute, about that flaming car drink...   The Flaming Lamborghini:   2 measures Kahlua® coffee liqueur 2 measures Sambuca 2 measures Blue Curacao liqueur 2 measures Bailey's® Irish cream 2 warmed martini glasses 4 shotglasses One wineglass   Pour the kahlua into 2 warmed Martini glasses, slowly add 1/2 measure of sambuca into each martini glass so that it creates a layer. Place the remaining measures of samuba into a wine glass. Pour the baileys and blue curacao into seperate shot glasses and set either side of the cocktail glass. Set light to the sambuca in the wineglass. Pour equal measures of flaming sambuca into the martini glasses. Pour the show of blue curacao and baileys into flaming martini glass in unison. Don't light yourself on fire. If you do light yourself on fire, be sure to take video and post it on the internet.

When I was a little girl, I wanted nothing more than to be Dyna Girl, a creation of Sid & Marty Krofft's Saturday Morning kid's show, 'Electra Woman & Dyna Girl'. I'd run around the house in my little pink swimsuit, leaping off of furniture with my beach towel flapping behind me. I was five. Eventually, I grew too tall for the little pink swimsuit, Electra Woman & Dyna Girl was cancelled, I moved on to more sophistocated things like, Dungeons & Dragons Electra Woman & Dyna Girl Montage   Some folks never outgrow their pink swimsuits.... or, they just get a new size, and the next thing they know they're holding a press conference whilst wearing a rubber shirt. Some carry it farther. Up, up and awa-aaaay farther. Herein lies our discussion. Hey, Kats and Kittens, This week we're recording on a Sunday morning after two nights of partying: A Pirate Party on Friday night and a Birthday Slumber Party on Saturday night. We're not too out of it to do the show, though. We talk about the games we've been playing: Deus X HR and Majin, as well as what we're watching and reading. He gets to gloat over kicking my butt in Pajamorama, but then we get into talking about what we've been doing this week. I am back from PAX. So herein, I tell adventures of weirdos in the airport, on the street and in the pubs. Yes, I need to get out more but first, lets play some Pajamorama! Props to Dannobot games out of Austin TX for making a game that will be a favorite here at TMPGoTI studios. Exciting maps, intense graphics, riveting story, solid game mechanics, comprehensive intructions... this game has none of that. However, we enjoyed the gameplay. We paid a dollar and laughed our asses off.

An interesting fact... Cheaters like to poke the bear with a boner while riding a goat. Or at least what we come up with this show. Tara's off at PAX, so Sassy is joined by Luder, Alphabox, and Binary from Off Topic and Three Player Game, as well as our awesome sauciest listener Peya (who is NOT a cheater!). Peya had some technical difficulties due to Hurricane Irene, so she's missing from the first half of the show, but with some creative editing, we got the show together.

This week, Cassandra completes Bastion. I complete From Dust and share my impressions of Record of Agarest War. I'll tell you what happens when you buy a game judging by its cover. You bang your head against the wall and beg for those precious hours of your life back. Maybe a little research is a good idea before my next purchase. Aside from lamenting about the bad combat and storyline, there really isn't much that I can say that can't be said by showing this picture.     And this one.   I'm sorry Universe, really, I am. Can I please have those few precious hours of my life back? "This game is going to be awesome!" I can't tell you how many times I've said that. I quit saying it - or, at least I've tried to, with the exceptions of when I quit quitting. The important thing here, is that when it comes to upcoming releases, I try really hard not to sound like someone who has been struck by "fandumb". Just go ahead and move along citizen, right past my gushing about the rumored Rainbow Six release, nothing to see here. I also try not to sound like the jaded and cynical nerd-raged gamer who has media overload, read too many previews and interviews given by PR mouthpieces that do nothing but blow smoke up people's asses about how their game will kick your face, kick your ass, and kick your face's ass, only to find out on release date that the only thing that will get kicked, is your XBOX controller. But... It's not like I'm bitter or anything like that. On the other side of the coin, maybe there are games we've missed out on because someone wrote a less than glowing review for a game that is still quite enjoyable and worthwhile to play. This week, we have Digital Cowboy Tony Atkins along with us for a great discussion on games, achievements, reviews, and the nerds who love them. Here is a man that I can count on to add some insight, and call me on my bullshit just when he's needed. Maybe I should be reading less game reviews, and picking up more information from my peers. Here at TMPGoTI, our social networking world is filled with gamers with multitude of opinions. Maybe I should have listened to you guys. Meanwhile, back here in Minnesota, there is an unfulfilled pre-order of Duke Nukem Forever. I paid for the pre-order. I never picked up the game. It's probably still sitting there with a stack, gathering dust. I'm practically talking myself into picking it up. Ha-ha, just messing with you. We hope you enjoy the discussion this week.
