It's episode 147! This week: Cassandra is revving up for Dorkapatwoza! Peter Molyneux leaves Lionhead and Microsoft to persue his own adventure with 22Cans. No, not twenty Tucans. The members of the creative team for Rainbow Six Patriots, have been removed from their project, not "axed from Ubisoft" as some games journalists have proclaimed. In an interview with GameInformer David Sears says, "I'm not dead" which, is totally what I would say, too. Also. we talk about: Mass Effect 3 user reviews vs. journalist reviews - oh, the disparity! I don't think I am in love Mass Effect 3 as much as I liked Mass Effect 1 or 2 but, for some reason, I can't stop playing it. What do they put into this shit? Cassandra and I get into it over Jessica Chobot's voice work for Bioware, the controversy that followed fueled some fan rage. (Why, oh WHY?)

Hey, Kats and Kittens, it's a long show this week because we've been gone for two weeks and had lots of catching up to do! We talk all about our weekend away to see Atmosphere in Rochester, MN, as well as catching up on all the gaming and viewing we've been doing. In the second half, we talk about sexual harassment in the fighting game community - focusing on an incident at a Capcom event which features a team leader named Aris claiming that sexual harassment in the fighting games is right and shouldn't be removed or you'd kill the community. We have a few choice words on the subject (fueled by tequila).

What to say about the Mass Effect 3 demo: When I was a little girl, I enjoyed most every dubbed over martial arts movie that I'd ever watched. I just don't want to repeat the experience whilst watching my Commander Shepard try to speak, unless there is some sort of tie-in with Enter The Dragon.   There isn't one.   Not that I don't mind a bit of creepiness in my Mass Effect.     Seriously, I hope the mismatched animation and diologue that we've witnessed in the demo, is repaired before the actual game's release in March. It's either that, or there is a nerd rage on the horizon. There may already be one within this podcast. And speaking of the contents of this podcast, there is already profanity, toilet humor, filthy innuendo, and drunken babbling. You know... the usual. This week we are joined by the incredibly awesome sauce duo of Mike and Drew from The More You Nerd podcast, a weekly show where the host take on a challenge to expand their nerd horizons. We asked them to give us a challenge and they threw down the gauntlet to watch the "best worst movie" ever made: Troll 2. Epic plot, great acting, awesome special effects, effective editing, creative costuming - this movie has none of those things, but it will make you laugh like a hyena. Go grab a bunch of friends and your drink of choice and watch it right now! Tara and I loved it so much, that we immediately rented the documentary about it called Best Worst Movie, which was also great. In the first half, we get to know the guys and then talk about our weeks, as usual. :)

We made two conflicing promises. 1) We shall complete the recipe per week from a magical book of 200 cocktails. or... 2) Never drink Martinis whilst recording The Most Popular Girls on The Internet   You will hear Cassandra's argument that these are not real martinis - they're saphire martinis, they don't count! Still, I was facing a moral conflict and decisions had to be made. I weighed the pros and cons- really, how could drinking anything blue, ever be harmful? Audio recordings of the aftermath had to be released into the internet for your mockery and enjoyment.   That's the short story of episode 135.     The real story is that we had a lot of fun. Nothing makes Cassandra allow me to spit half-chewed crackers in her face like when she's had a few martinis.   Cheers!
