I think what we'll do during this session is have a nice old fashioned body scan will focus on your body starting at the top of your head, moving all the way down individually focus in on each part. Get to the end, which is your toes. This can be used for relaxing some mindfulness exercise which is used by people all around the world to reduce stress to increase the sense of relaxation, napping this particular meditative technique may many many years ago I've sat in a room probably 1000s of times with others doing this as a participant and every time somebody falls asleep pretty much it's one of those things that ideally, if you're wanting to stay awake, you're better off sitting up straight with your back straight.Because I know that if I was lying down on my bed I would struggle to even finish this session without falling asleep. So if you've caught yourself ideally, lying down sitting in the chair which support your body. Basically whatever position that you sleep in. The most important thing is that you're comfortable. There are no prizes. discomfort, it's all about enjoying the experience knowing that the worst case scenario is that at the end of this recording, you'll feel more relaxed.A lot of people won't even get to the end because they'll fall asleep. I'm going to be doing quite heavy versions of this. In the future I'm going to stick to a very basic one, the very kind of original version and then start to beperhaps a bit more creative bits and bobs time we're gonna start with the top of your head. Issue focus on each part of your body that I mentioned.Remember that you're not trying to relax that part of your body. You're not trying to send parts of your body to sleep. You don't have to try to do anything. It really is a case of just lump surfing that part of your body the same way as observed in the background sounds a distant sound playing by maybe the birds in the tree in the garden perhaps the sound of my stomach. Yeah, Daddy feed me being aware of the individual parts of your body. This is same as being aware of the temperature in your room that you are right now. Or if you're outside the temperature you may be sitting outside or lying down on some kind of Camp a bed in those possibilities are endless, I guess. It could be in a hammock. Even when you focus in on the killer part of your body that I mentionedcan also be aware of the sensation of the breath entering and leaving your body. Allow yourself to be aware of any other parts of your bodywhether it be gas, whether it's discomfort that needs readjusting where it's a part of body which has a bit of inflammation or painbecause this isn't about ignoring anything it's about acceptance. pap just observing in an accepting way you take away the judgment which means there's no emotional stress or pain connected to that physical sensation in your body, this time we can now focus on top of your head just be aware of that sensation the top of your head, scalp basically from your hairline. Oh, maybe you used to be moving up across your scalp. If you imagine putting a bow on your head it goes down to just wear your ears or be your scalp that part. Know that sometimes we might think that there's not much going on.In the actual scalp itself. It's quite hard. It's not really necessarily as a lot of sensations, but actually, when you focus on it like this, you kind of feel that there is quite a bit going on.Just sensation. Just stuff. Just feelings. And even though the drowsiness levels may differ among those people that listen to this. Now there's also the added benefit that even if you're listening to this at a time when perhaps you don't really need to go to sleep at this precise moment. When you do come to decide to sleep deeply and to lay down on your bed. And second your head touches your pillow. Something happens it's as if your heads touching that pillow is like you press the button the button sends the signals into your brain to just relax your entire body to relax each and every muscle in your entire body.And the good thing about your body and your mind is that they are connected. your mind and your brain is your body. Your body is your mind. It's all connected. So one thinghe can get a friend or a couple of friends say let's have a game. I'm going to lay down on the floor and I want you to pick my body upmy head laid my head on the floor. I want you to pick my body up.Because you can because the head is connected to the body via that little bridge called the neck. Therefore, the neck is the body. The brain is the body the mind Is the body, your body and by connecting both together, consciously connecting both together, not seeing them as two different thing. Actually accepting that it's all one thing you are your mind, your mind issue, you are your brain, your brain is who you are your heart, your your legs, your arms, your hands, your stomach, your back, your spine, your pancreas, your kidneys, your livers, or liver, if you've only got one. So you're everything that you are, that everything that you are committed acts deeply as one.So instead of just relaxing your ankles when you relax your ankles, you also relax every part of your body, which also you relax every part of your mind. Every on your body, relax well right through to the roots. You know what you can then realize that actually, those airs, including the ones you can't see inside your skin, that connected and it could be like your own acupuncture cues that are already there, connected to the parts of your body that are already there. stimulated and healing each every part of your body, and brain all at the same time. relaxing your body, your mind and your brain all at the same time. Realizing that actually, instead of doing gnosis and focusing on concentrating on your unconscious mind, taking control and trying to in some way, distract your conscious mind so that it does something else and moves away, given space and time. And allowing your unconscious mind to make those changes that you need. Including fallen asleep easily. And naturally. What effort you choose so that you can heal during your sleep. Usually it might be blackjack, which I'm sitting in Now, sometimes I record them sitting at my table which is where I would fill myself you know, during the, let me bore you to sleep videos I think the last deep sleep whisper session I was done in my bed I've ever traveled by to travel around and do these things in different rooms.Never done it in the kitchen. But raise your body Bobby finger actually. Because it is an ASMR whisper it's quite nice to maybeinclude background sounds, instead of trying to edit and eliminate any kind of natural sounds that may be present outside of just my voice because then I don't normally do that. But I'm just saying the occasionally I'm going to put my glasses down I've got a little table next to my chair. It's it's kind of one of those tables that you can eat off of you can push it around and put it underneath the chair. But the table above the chair or it can be used, I suppose to eat at the bed. If you were sitting up in a bed don't use it for now just bits, you know maybe a cup of tea or a cup of coffee. I'll put it on the side andseemed to turn me into a left handed coffee drinker. I feel quite comfortable using my left hand for picking up cups of coffee or tea. Usually much day and I only really drink coffee once a day in the morning when I have my breakfast whatever time of the day that is. So I'm pretty much seven cups of coffee a week person. Dow in its time. jaw field feels relaxed tire feels good back All right. And that's it. Relax Thai spreads into your shoulders. include in your elbow. For sure. And that sense of relaxation and tightness, spread down your back, chest down to stomach and back into the lower back. feeling tired, back to the sides. I feel feel in a tie that faded in relaxation, tightness spray to your area. Fill in your way you buttocks and move in all the way down by your legs relax and tiring your shed and jaw and your calf muscles part of your legs every every part of the skin for your legs and the bone completely die. And that's that sensation continues to grow in your face. Your boy, your jaw, your tongue, your mouth feel more relaxed and spread in again even in the back of your neck, your throat all the way down your arms growing stronger in your toes, your arms and your fingers and your fingertips be more relaxed Thai and that's that spreads 10 times more relaxed because then I got water for healing energy safe, spread in all the way down your body, down your legs into your feet relax and goes in your feet, your toes or the bones in your feet, the skin covering your feet, feelings lens. Then that sensation can start again at the top of your head for safe energy, relaxation, and tightness spread from the top of your head, covering your entire body all the way over Your face your head and your shoulders as your front of your body the back of your body spread in that safe relaxation and tightness, boy, legs into your fate causing your body to crease, that sense tightness to a level that may surprise you just easily drift of into a deep healing safe space where you can enjoy be counted to I want to get to one. So there's a little bit of sound do try to minimize my physical movement during these recordings because the chair really can be quite squeaky so I'll try and keep fairly still. But on the same side, I don't want to limit myself andturn into some kind of a statue. Because the idea behind these sessions and everything that I do is for you to just relax and be one with yourself without editing or without telling yourself off without telling yourself that you should set in a particular way or lie down in a particular way. There are no shoulds there are no shipments apart from one dies, you should listen to this or watch this if you're watching on YouTube unless you can safely Close your eyes that's the only role and just prepared to feel sleepy basically can kind of prepare yourself people who decide to listen to me and of course you can press the pause button at any time. So if this is something that you need to finish off before continuing to listen to my voice and drift into a nice comfortable healing safe slate then maybe to that first example if you're in the middle of doing some pottery and you're making a nice big falls or phase out of clay that may be you know you want to maybe stop this recording but on to pause and finish making that phase or favs otherwise that vase may end up looking like an ashtraymight become a bit flat. Reminds me of a time when I did a bit of pottery at school and I've thought always looked quite easy. That's creative. wherever it's pottery, needlework, writing, poetry. Sing it. Back, dancing. painting. Just the the act of creativity is amazing human gift that we all have. And just sometimes, it's a case of finding what yours is.Mine seems to be verbally just talking. Just talking about stuff. And I do kind of put it down about the same. I just talk rubbish. And that's my skill. That's my superpower. Just talking rubbish. Butother people who say well, we can all just talk rubbish. So maybe there's a little bit more to it with me.always wanted to be a tap dancer. Not professionally, but I liked the idea of tap dancing. Because I used to watch the old red Astaire movies. When I was a kid, and they weren't at the time I'm not. I'm not in my 90sbuys to watch them on television. Desert Andre in the background. Like kinds of strange noises. I think he's just sometimes he changes his position to get more comfortable. Sometimes he seems to sleep dog as well. Which is a bit weird. Considering these a ferret, and he can't really talk, not in my language. But we do communicate quite well.He lets me know what he wants. For example, when we're walking or taking a walk he lets me know when he wants me to pick him up because he just but is to run fee against my leg, which means he wants me to carryso that's quite quite like that connection. But this sleepy session may cause sleepiness. Before we start, I'd like you to just get yourself comfortable. Whether it's lying down on a flat surface, might be a bad. Maybe it's comfortable chair, just make sure that you feel comfortable at all times throughout this recording, because there's no prize for putting up with discomfort. So if you need to change the way that you're sitting, or do you need to change the position that you're lying in order to increase your feeling of physical comfort.Please do that whenever you need it. Because your comfort is the most important thing. Right now. As you listen to my voice, what you may notice is if you have listened to me before, on previous recordings,something starts to happen quite quickly. It's like this is a continuation of the previous time that you listened to my voice. And that sense of comfort that you experienced at that time. Now seems to just continue. Now, in this moment it's as if air in my voice flight pushing a button. A big button with the word relax. You just press that button and your body and your mind naturally feels more relaxed.There's something quite nice about the additional advantage of the whisperin. Because there are lots of people that notice that when they hear whispers they hear me whispering it has an additional effect. It's a safe it's a part of your brain that gets stimulated and activate By the sound of my voice whispering into your ear which allows that ledger zone to open up so that you can experience maybe a sense of tingling in the top of your head, maybe in your face down your spine, down your chest.
