Well stay tuned, because although Kayla focuses her coaching work on the first year of marriage, I think you’ll find that what she teaches is very much applicable to all of us, no matter where we are in our marriage. Kayla has an awesome take on this! We get personal, so let’s dive in. Oh and before we do, I want to tell you to stay tuned because Kayla is offering her 6 week online course First Year Married and she’s giving us a discount code and the chance to have a one on one coaching call with her as well.  Episode 91: Paula Eiselt, Director of 93 Queen | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 41:12

B”H Welcome to Jewish Latin Princess everyone! This is your host, Yael Trusch. Today we move to the film industry. I have Director of the documentary 93 Queen, Paula Eiselt. 93 Queen is Paula’s feature directorial debut. The film has had screenings at dozens of film festivals around the world. I had the pleasure of watching the screening in Houston recently and let me tell you this film totally delivered to the hype it’s received. Most recently, the film was nominated for the 2018 Women Film Critics Circle’s Karen Morley Award for best exemplifying a woman’s place in history or society, and a courageous search for identity. In September 2018, 93 Queen was broadcast on PBS’s prestigious award-winning series POV and was the sole documentary film in 2018 selected to receive marketing support from the NYC Mayor’s Office Made in NY film program. Super cool eh!? And so is it’s wonderful Director, Paula. We go behind the scenes, literally. Why did Chassidic women from Borough Park, allow this film to be made – considering that they were already creating controversy in their community by starting the first all-female ambulance corps in NYC. Why instigate more fire, by being on a film? And how did Paula get the idea and approach them? What did she learn about her own Jewish observance from her experience in the five years that she was immersed in these women’s world. What were some of the challenges that she experienced as a film maker, by taking this project on? And so much more! If you haven’t watched the film, I hope you’ll want to find a screening near you, after this interview. It is phenomenal. And before I bring Paula on, I want to give a shout out to a wonderful listener who wrote to me on Instagram in Spanish actually and also wrote a review on iTunes where she said, “I’ve learned so much from this podcast, it really shows the integration between business, spirituality and beautiful values that resonate with me. I’m not Jewish but this podcast speaks to me very deeply as a woman who’s building a meaningful life. Thank You so much, Yael.” Wow, and thank You! That was beautiful. I’m glad to have you here. And btw, it’s interesting how she found the show. If you recall many episodes ago on Episode 17, I had Venezuelan Journalist, Shirley Varnagy. She caught that interview which is one of my best interviews by far, so if you speak Spanish, please do not miss it. It is incredible! So, she caught that interview, when Shirley so generously promoted it, and has been a listener ever since. What about you, listener, I want to hear from you. Would love to know how you found the show and what you’re enjoying the most. Leave me a Review on iTunes or find me on Instagram. And now, onto my wonderful guest, Paula Eiselt.  Episode 88: Chagit Sofiev Leviev, CEO of Leviev USA & Philanthropist | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 39:43

B”H Do you like to talk about money? I do. If you’ve been listening to this show for a while, you know that about me. I love money. I love what it can do for us and for our communities. I love making it, investing it, and using it to help others. And, I’m obsessed with helping women gain a better understanding of what money and wealth is really about. Because no, according to us Jews, money is not the source of all evil, even if we’ve been conditioned to have those beliefs, that’s not a Jewish belief! Today’s guest will share with us the Jewish view on wealth, from first hand experience. You’re listening to Jewish Latin Princess, I’m Yael Trusch, your host. I have Chagit Sofiev Leviev on the show. Chagit, is the CEO of Leviev USA, a Group of Companies founded by her father, renowned businessman and philanthropist Lev Leviev, with investments in a wide range of dynamic industries, including real estate, mining, energy, diamonds and jewelry. Chagit is a graduate of Bar Ilan University, with a B.A. in Economics and Business administration. In her role as CEO, she has led many high stakes transactions such as the sale of the former New York Times Building in Times Square, for nearly $300M in 2015. She is also a dedicated wife and mother to 4 young children and follows in the footsteps of her parents’ philanthropic spirit dedicating much of her time and resources to help organizations that focus on the community, Jewish education, and women empowerment. Was working for her father something she always expected to do? Chagit takes us behind the scenes and gets real with us about the juggling act. She also tells us that for her, as challenging as it may be, it is well worth it, not just because it fulfills her personally, but as you’ll soon hear, it’s also part of a bigger view on life – contributing to a broader mission and continuing the legacy that her parents built. What were the financial lessons she learned from her parents? What could men and women do better when it comes to women empowerment? And what does Judaism mean to Chagit? This is not a reality show, or an episode of Crazy Rich Asians, ladies! This is so much better, because this is episode about true Jewish wealth – one which is dictated first and foremost, by G-d’s Torah. Here’s the lovely Chagit Sofiev Leviev. B”H Do you have a podcast? Would you want to have one? Today we take an inside look at this industry with one of the pioneers of podcasting, an Expert in Connection and Influence. You’re listening to Jewish Latin Princess. I’m Yael Trusch your host. Welcome to the show. Today’s guest is Jessica Kupferman. And this is such a fun conversation for me. Fine, maybe I’m biased because I love what I do so much and my guest is the expert at it. Anyone who is taking podcasting seriously ultimately ends up knowing or hearing about Jessica Kupferman, especially if they’re a woman. Jessica is an internet and digital marketing pioneer who helps content creators grow and monetize a loyal, rabid fan base through understanding connection and the power of influence. She has worked on branding and messaging for large corporations such as Comcast and Subaru, as well as with hundreds of bloggers, podcasters and online entrepreneurs, by teaching personality-driven social media and sales strategy. How do I know Jessica, or get to Jessica? Well, because she is the co-host and co-founder of the She Podcasts brand, which currently supports over 10,000 female podcasters and has a digital marketing reach of over 50,000 content creators. Oh and Jessica also started a podcast advertising agency, JK Media Agency, in 2015 and then sold in 2017 to pursue her passion for helping independent podcasters create connection and step into their influence. Currently, she is the Head of Marketing for Rebel Base Media where she helps members prepare for success in podcasting. How did Jessica end up in focusing her efforts in this newer media? What are the barriers to entry that women faced when attempting to dive into podcasting? What message do you need to get across to potential sponsors when you’re asking them to partner with your show? It might not be just number of downloads. And how did Jessica get to become an expert in connection? Listen to some insights on how to connect better with others. Where is the line between connecting, being human, relatable, and sharing too much information? Jessica believes that our legacy is not our body of work necessarily. Rather, she says,  our legacy is how we made people feel during our lifetime. Yes, Jessica is a marketer, she’s an expert in connection, but even so, how did Jessica gain this insight? This is not something they teach you in marketing 101 or in corporate America… Jessica is a delight, whether you’re new to podcasting, have your own show, or are just a listener, you’re going to learn a ton from her, here’s the fun Jessica Kupferman. How she got started, why, what is her life as an entrepreneur like; and give us some inspiration for those of us who need a little push pursuing our goals and dreams. But, before I bring her on, I want to say that I’ve missed being on the show. As many of you know, I was away for a while on a family trip. It was actually my son’s Bar Mitzvah, so the month of January was my month to take care of that, and then to spend some amazing quality time with my family in the Land of Israel. While I was there, I had the chance to meet some of my amazing guests. If you follow me on Facebook you got a glimpse of that. I’m also preparing for a new venture, also working on content for JWRP – Jewish Women’s Rennaisance Project – so a lot going on, B”H. I will keep you posted. I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the nice emails and instant messages via Instagram, that I’ve received lately – during this one month hiatus, particularly, – sharing your impressions of the show. I truly appreciate it and I’m grateful for you, the show’s listeners, becauase that’s why I’m here. I want to share one of those recent emails. I actually received it while I was up north in the spiritual city of Tsfat, Israel, and here a listener, said “I want to say what pleasure I get listening to your podcast. I love the interviews, the depth and breadth of everyone you speak with always amazes me! I love hearing about all types of people and the different things they do, the different ways they think about things but then realizing how alike we all are as Jewish women. Also, the way you speak with unaffiliated Jews in that gentle and caring way is so inspiring. Your podcast also changed my life because…” Well, turns out that this listener started working one-on-one with one of my guests thanks to the interview I did with her. That is just one of many emails I’ve received and I thank you for those warm words. Maybe I’ll share some more of those in the future. But now, to another woman who expressed incredibly warm words, Chana, my guest, who gave me the most beautiful blessing after we got off the recording (you won’t be able to hear on this recording), for it was her Hebrew birthday on the day we got on the mic together. Chana Rachel, Thank You, I really appreciate it. And now, lets get you, ladies, to the warm and lovely, Chana Rachel Weinberg.
