Season 6, Episode 104 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, co-host David Todd and I get right to discussing the main talking points from the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday pre-draft press conference. While Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin obviously didn’t reveal much ahead of the 2016 NFL Draft, David and I attempt to parse several of the comments both made as it relates to several answers they gave to questions from the local media. We talk about the cornerback position as it relates to it possibly being the team’s first-round draft pick and also spend time talking about comments Colbert made about the nose tackle position in addition to how they evaluate injured draft prospects. We spend a lot of time talking about West Virginia safety Karl Joseph as it relates to his health in addition to him possibly being the team’s first-round selection. I attempt to narrow down the Steelers first round draft pick to three choices. After thoroughly breaking down what Colbert and Tomlin had to say on Monday, David and I discuss the recent news that revolves around Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post. Thanks for listening and don't forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends! The new message hotline is (814) 429-YINZ.

Season 6, Episode 103 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, co-host David Todd is back after having the last few weeks off. Let me first let you know that this episode has been highly edited as it was originally supposed to include another interview pre-draft with Dave-Te Thomas. However, due to that audio somehow becoming corrupted and thus unusable, I was unable to include our 30-minute talk with him in this show. While I was going to scrap this entire show, David thought it would be fine to pass along the discussions we had about the Pittsburgh Steelers in addition to the few draft trades that were made this past week so that you would at least have something to entertain you on this Friday. I apologize for the technical difficulties that we had that has led to us not being able to bring you that well-anticipated interview and while I can’t promise you we’ll be able to get Thomas scheduled for next week, I will attempt to see if he’ll give us a do-over. Please consider this a VERY Terrible Podcast. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post. Thanks for listening and don't forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends! The new message hotline is (814) 429-YINZ.

Season 6, Episode 101 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora sits in again for co-host David Todd and we immediately begin talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers 2016 schedule following its Thursday night release. Alex and I go over the Steelers schedule thoroughly as it relates to things that we like and don’t like and somehow that winds up being a lengthy conversation. We also discuss what the Steelers “color rush” uniforms might ultimately wind up being and which ones we each would prefer seeing them wear against the Indianapolis Colts on thanksgiving night. The Steelers have now brought in a few wide receivers for pre-draft visits so we thoroughly discuss those two players in addition to one more that the team might consider drafting in the first three rounds. Late in this show we answer several Twitter questions that listeners asked us. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post. Season 6, Episode 100 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, Alex Kozora sits in again for co-host David Todd and we immediately begin talking about the most recent visitors the Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing in to town. Our early discussions revolve around Boston College safety Justin Simmons, Virginia Text edge-rusher Dadi Nicolas and South Carolina State defensive tackle Javon Hargrave. Please note that this episode was also recorded prior to Monday’s pre-draft visitors being announced. Alex and I pose a few different draft scenarios to each other that revolve around the safety and defensive tackle positions. We also talk about a few other defensive tackle prospects who would presumably fit the Steelers outside of just Hargrave and Andrew Billings. That conversation leads to us discussing why Steelers defensive ends Cameron Heyward and Stephon Tuitt need some help in 2016 as we go over the playing time the duo received last season. We spend the last portion of this show discussing a few more edge-rushers and whether or not the Steelers will ultimately address the position in the middle-rounds. We wrap things up by talking about the off-the-field incident that Western Kentucky tight end Tyler Higbee had on Sunday and what we think it might ultimately do to his draft stock As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post. Thanks for listening and don't forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends! The new message hotline is (814) 429-YINZ.

Season 6, Episode 99 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, Alex Kozora sits in again for co-host David Todd and we immediately begin talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers 2016 preseason schedule following its release Thursday evening. Alex and I move on to discuss the Steelers pre-draft visitor list as it relates to rounds the team seems to be targeting certain positions. We move on to discuss our short lists of names that we could see the Steelers choosing their first-round selection from. We also talk about what position drafted in the first round could ultimately see the most amount of playing time during his rookie season in Pittsburgh. While it might be a little tiring, Alex and I continue our talk about Baylor nose tackle Andrew Billings as it relates to the amount of snaps he could potentially play outside of the Steelers base 3-4 defense. Being as my latest mock draft was released on Thursday, Alex and I review it just as we did with the one he released earlier in the week. Alex tells me what he likes and dislikes about it. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post. David and I begin by talking about the signing of free agent tackle Ryan Harris by the Steelers after they first showed interest in tackle Russell Okung over the weekend. Season 6, Episode 92 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday episode, Alex Kozora sits in again for David Todd, who spent the weekend in South Florida covering the Pittsburgh Pirates. Alex and I kick off this Monday show by talking about the news that surfaced this weekend concerning Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant as he now faces a one-year suspension for possibly missing a drug test. We talk about the potential loss of Bryant next season and if the Steelers are deep enough at the wide receiver position to overcome it. After discussing the Bryant news, Alex move on to talk about the Steelers scheduling several free agent tackles for visits in addition to tackle Kelvin Beachum continuing on with his visits with other teams. Is there still hope that Beachum ultimately re-signs with the Steelers? We discuss that possibility. As we did with Beachum, Alex and I discuss the possibility of McLendon ultimately re-signing with the Steelers. Should the Steelers show interest bringing back Mike Wallace following his release by the Minnesota Vikings last week? We discuss that topic as well.
