Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 6, Episode 95 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora sits in for co-host David Todd and we immediately begin talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers signing inside linebacker Steven Johnson on Friday. We tell you what we know about Johnson and how he potentially fits with the Steelers. The Steelers also brought in guard Geoff Schwartz for a free agent visit on Thursday so Alex and I talk about what kind of player he is and how he would potentially fit with the team if ultimately signed. The Steelers had a significant presence at the Houston pro day on Thursday to see cornerback William Jackson III and because of that, Alex and I have an extended discussion about not only him, but cornerbacks Eli Apple and Mackensie Alexander as well. We talk about the Steelers draft trends over the years as it relates to how much stock should be placed in each. We also discuss several other players the Steelers could quite possibly select in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft in addition to whether or not their first three picks will all be defensive players We close out this show by talking about veteran free agent safety Will Allen wanting to play one more season in Pittsburgh. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
