Season 6, Episode 117 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd once again and we kick things off by talking about things we think we learned this past week as the Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up their annual OTA practices for 2016. Several of the Steelers coaches talked to the media this past week so we go over a few comments that several of them made about players. We discuss the Steelers depth at the running back position in addition to talking extensively about the team’s secondary. We let you know what both of us are looking forward to seeing during the preseason this year and spend a little extra time talking about linebacker Jarvis Jones and wide receiver Sammie Coates. Being as the Cincinnati Bengals signed running back Giovani Bernard to an extension this past week, Alex and I quickly look ahead at what that might ultimately mean for Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell as it relates to his current market value and potential new contract. Season 6, Episode 116 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd once again and we kick things off by talking quite a bit about the comments reportedly made by Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back coach Carnell Lake during this past weekend’s annual men’s fantasy camp. In case you missed it, Lake talked about a medical condition that former cornerback Brandon Boykin is currently dealing with in addition to him admitting that the team had their sights set on drafting cornerback William Jackson III had the Cincinnati Bengals not selected him one pick prior to their 25th overall selection in the first round. Lake also had some positive things to say about linebacker Tyler Matakevich, who the team drafted in the seventh-round this year. Steelers guard Ramon Foster revealed one of the goals the offensive line has had set for them this upcoming season when it comes to rushing the football so Alex and I spend a little time discussing that. We briefly talk about Steelers cornerback Ross Cockrell in this episode and wrap things up by talking about a few rankings Alex recently posted that relate to bad decisions the Steelers organization has made over the years. As we usually do at this time of year, David and I attempt to predict how much playing time each of the Steelers draft picks will receive during their rookie seasons and we lay out some over/under numbers for all of you to comment on. The Steelers released tackle Mike Adams on Thursday so David and I look back at his career in Pittsburgh. That discussion leads to us talking about the Steelers 2012 draft class as a whole as guard David DeCastro is now the only remaining member of it. David had Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert on his show this past week so we discuss a few things he had to say about cornerback Artie Burns and the decision to not pick up the fifth-year option on outside linebacker Jarvis Jones. We end this show by talking about the future of outside linebacker Arthur Moats past the 2016 season in addition to what positions the Steelers might focus on the most at the top of the 2017 NFL Draft. Season 6, Episode 108 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, David Todd and I spend a lot of time recapping the Pittsburgh Steelers 2016 draft in addition to talking about several of the undrafted free agents that they signed Saturday night. In addition to talking about the new Steelers players, David and I also discuss the team’s recent decision to re-sign veteran quarterback Bruce Gradkowski. This leads to us discussing whether or not Gradkowski will eventually wind up beating out Landry Jones for the No. 2 spot behind starter Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers need to make a decision on outside linebacker Jarvis Jones on Monday as it relates to picking up his fifth-year option so David and I discuss that topic one last time as well. We also discuss whether or not Jones should be considered a bust at this point and how he ranks as far as other first round selections go during the last 15 years.
