We first met Rob Dietrich as the Master Distiller of Metallica’s Blackened Whiskey…and now he’s collaborating with them again, along with Drew Estate, on the new Blackened M81 cigars…and talking with him about that would be interesting enough, but there’s MUCH more to him than just that! He’s an Army veteran who spent time fighting Somali warlords, spent part of his life living in a converted school bus on the Oregon coast, worked with the legendary Bill Graham, and is a motorcycle lover who has traveled extensively around the world via motorcycle! So while we started with every intention of talking cigars…we went straight off into the weeds in the best way possible!

We first met Will Sasso as a member of the cast of the long-running FOX sketch comedy show, MadTV. He went on to films like “The Three Stooges” and “Super Troopers 2”…and has lent his voice to “Family Guy”…and now he’s taking on the world of podcasting with a unique comedy/musical tale of a fictional country music legend and his mysterious disappearance, “The Ballad of Uncle Drank”!! We talked to Will this morning to find out more about this hilarious new take on podcasts!!

Of all of the more modern-day horror movie characters, Halloween’s Michael Myers tops the list as the most iconic of the bunch. And the man who has embodied that character in 2018’s “Halloween”, “Halloween Kills” and the upcoming “Halloween Ends”, is actor/stuntman James Jude Courtney. And from studying his cat to better play the world’s favorite movie slasher, to whether or not this is truly the end of the franchise…we heard all about it this morning when we got  him on the phone!!

"The Waltons" was, undoubtedly, one of the biggest television dramas of the 1970s...as was evidenced by the numerous Primetime Emmy Awards the show, and it's cast, won over the decade. And no cast member won more awards than actress Michael Learned. Over the years, she went on to win another Emmy starring on the show "Nurse", and work on such daytime dramas as "All My Children" and "One Life To Live"...but now she's in the biggest mini-series on Netflix, "Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story", and had the honor of talking to her this morning!!

The history between the Morning Show and Steel Panther is long and littered with debauchery...at least what we remember of it! Which is why our livers are quivering at the fact that Steel Panther have just released a new single, "Never Too Late (To Get Some Pussy Tonight!)" from their upcoming album "On The Prowl", because that means they'll be coming back to KC some time soon!! And from his childhood being bullied for being overweight, to being one of the most recognizable names in boxing, he has a lot of stories to tell…and that’s why he’s in KC for a special “Evening With Butterbean” at the Comedy Club of Kansas City! And this morning, we had the honor of having him in-studio for his first radio interview in 15 years!!

At 76 years of age, Hollywood icon and Friend of the Show, Henry Winkler is busier than ever…between his Emmy award winning work on the HBO series “Barry” to his award-winning children’s books…not to mention his love of traveling and fishing…Henry seems to be going non-stop!! Throwing a surprise birthday for ANYONE can be a difficult task...but when that person is a famous rock star, who also happens to listen to the morning show every day...planning a surprise party over 500 miles away in Nashville can be even more crazy...but, that's what Ashley Witherspoon, wife of Sevendust frontman and Friend of the Show, Lajon Witherspoon, managed to pull off! And the fact the Dare had to keep the fact that he was flying to Nashville to celebrate with our friend a secret? Next to impossible!!! We caught up with Lajon this morning before he headed out to come back to KC to talk to him all about it!!

At one point, Dane Cook looked to be one of the biggest comedians in the country. Sold out arenas, huge comedy specials, movies, money and fame....but over the past few years he's kept a pretty low profile.
