Anyone who listens to the Morning Show knows our undying love for Henry Winkler. It’s just the plain truth…we love him. He’s an icon. He’s one of the kindest people we know. And, as we all found out a little while back that he’s a huge fan of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes! And this past Sunday, Henry and Patrick FINALLY got to meet when the Chiefs played the Chargers in LA…and the whole city beamed with pride at the truly heartfelt meeting between the two. It was just plain amazing to watch. So we HAD to get Henry on the phone to find out all about it…and hearing him re-tell the story was just magical.

Over the last few years, director Eli Roth has become one of our favorite people to have on the show. Not just because we're huge fans of the films he's directed, and of his work as "The Bear Jew" in "Inglorious Basterds"...but because when you talk to him, you realize he's just another nerd like us...albeit one with a really fucked up sense of humor! There are two great documentaries out now, A&E’s “BTK: Confessions of a Serial Killer” and the season 2 debut of Netflix’s “Catching Killers”…but this morning we talked to the man who finally slapped the cuffs on him, former KBI senior special agent, Ray Lundin…and he gave us even more insight into mind of one of the most terrifying criminal minds of all time…a man with no guilt, no remorse…and man who reveled in telling the police all of the details of his kills…and man Ray Lundin calls “An unfinished soul.”

In our lifetime there have been a lot of magicians and illusionists. We caught up with Criss this morning to find out more!

Working with a successful ensemble cast like Topher Grace did on "That 70s Show" can be a once in a lifetime thing...lightning in a bottle...but luckily for him, he's found that again with the cast of his hit ABC show, "Home Economics"...and he told us all about the family vibe and more this morning!

We know Jack McBrayer mostly from his more "adult" roles in such films as "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Talladega Nights", not to mention his work on "30 Rock"...but these days he's on a crusade to help raise a generation of kinder humans with his AppleTV children's show, "Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show"...bringing back the feel-good vibe of "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood"...and, listening to him talk about it this morning, we think he's on the right track!

Jesse James Dupree...the Southern Fried frontman of the band, Jackyl. Darryl "DMC" McDaniels...half of the iconic hip hop duo Run-DMC. Together...they've just released....a country single?? Longtime Friend of the Show, Billy Brimblecom had it all. An amazing drummer, he was touring the world with his band, opening for big artists and set to take his career to the next level...then, in 2005, he lost his left leg  above the knee due to Ewing's Sarcoma. Many folks would have just given up. But Billy chose to follow another path, becoming Executive Director of Steps of Faith, the non-profit organization that has helped nearly 1000 amputees get the prosthetics they need! And every year he, along with his best friend,  Emmy Award winning star of Ted Lasso, Jason Sudeikis, have called on their celebrity friends to help them mount THUNDERGONG! Any day we get to talk to Mitch Holthus is a good day. Not only because, he's a great guy, and hilarious...but because for 29 seasons, he has been the voice of the Kansas City Chiefs!! So it was great to have him on this morning, especially because it was to talk about the Chiefs "Salute To Service" this Sunday...and it was clear just listening to him that this is something near and dear to his heart.

For the last several year, right around this time, our friend Jeff Parson, aka Big Gay Jeff, has turned his front yard into a giant artful tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs!! And earlier this week KCTV5 stopped by to do a profile on Jeff, and it was as hilarious as always! We caught up with our big gay friend this morning to talk about his current infamy!!

Back before Halloween, we talked to director Damien Leone about his movie “Terrifier 2”…which, at the time, was in limited release, but starting to create a big buzz… Flash forward to 1 month later and Damien’s slasher classic, made for only $250,000, has made over an astounding $10 MILLION, and is heading to streaming this week!! So, ya know…since we were on board early…it seems only fitting that Johnny and Jake get THEIR chance to get murdered in the next sequel!! And we got Damien on the phone this morning to kiss ass!
