Summary: We first met Rob Dietrich as the Master Distiller of Metallica’s Blackened Whiskey…and now he’s collaborating with them again, along with Drew Estate, on the new Blackened M81 cigars…and talking with him about that would be interesting enough, but there’s MUCH more to him than just that! He’s an Army veteran who spent time fighting Somali warlords, spent part of his life living in a converted school bus on the Oregon coast, worked with the legendary Bill Graham, and is a motorcycle lover who has traveled extensively around the world via motorcycle! So while we started with every intention of talking cigars…we went straight off into the weeds in the best way possible!
