NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jarrett has watched the sport change a lot over the years. Having grown up the son of a racer/track manager, he’s seen NASCAR grown from humble beginnings to one of the most popular sports in America. From taking on the likes of Jeff Gordon and the late Dale Earnhardt Sr., to his move to the broadcast team for NBC few have the knowledge and experience to talk to us about the upcoming playoff race at KS Speedway, the new NextGen cars, and the changing face of NASCAR!

There are few rock stars who are as grateful for where they are and how far they’ve come than Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix. As someone who has struggled with addiction and mental health issues, he is clear headed, with a clear vision of the person he needs to be and aspires to be…and while he’s settled down in some aspects of his life…he is still one of the most electrifying frontmen in the music business!! And he’s set to burn down the stage tonight at Sandstone!!!

When we wanna talk about American Ninja Warriors...we talk to Matt Iseman. And today, when Johnny needed to talk to someone about his upcoming colonoscopy...we also talked to Matt Iseman! Because, before his days as host of his hit NBC show, we worked as a doctor!! And with the season finale of Am. Ninja airing tonight, and Dare's ass nozzling  comin' up Wednesday, gettin' Matt on the phone was a no brainer!!

We all first saw Sam J. Jones as the star of the 1980 film Flash Gordon...and some saw him when he appeared in Playgirl...but it wasn't until we met him a few years ago when he was in KC for CryptiCon that we found out how kick ass he truly was!! And now that he's back with the new PureFlix movie "An Unlikely Angel", we thought it was time to catch up with THE MAN WHO KILLED MING THE MERCILOUS!!! 

People have their favorite bands…that’s just a fact. But music fans who love Blackberry Smoke…they’re a whole different breed. BBS fans are like one giant family. And we here on the show are HUGE BBS fans…and over the two decades we’ve known them, they’ve become part of OUR family. Which is why it’s always great to have our brother Charlie Starr on the show…because it’s always like talkin’ to one of your own. And with the band rolling into the Firewater Music Fest in Lacygne KS next month, we can't wait to catch up!

July 9th, 1991 is a day that retired Naval bombardier/navigator Lt. Keith Gallagher will always remember…because on that day, he cheated death. While flying in an A6 “Texaco” Intruder over the Indian Ocean at 8000 ft, he was partially ejected from the plane and somehow managed to survive…due to a lot of luck and the skills of his pilot Lt. Mark Baden. And thanks to our own Leif Lisec, we got the chance to have Keith on the show this morning to tell us the whole harrowing story!

Before we left on vacation, we had the chance to talk to NASCAR great Kyle Petty about his new book, "Swerve or Die: Life at My Speed in the First Family of NASCAR Racing" but we didn't have nearly enough time to cover his family's amazing story...so we luckily got him back to talk more about it, and it was truly an amazing look into the first family of stock car racing !!!

Over the last couple of years, we have been lucky enough to get to know Bare Knuckle Boxing star Sam “The Hillbilly Hammer” Shewmaker. The Gravois Mills MO native is said to have the hardest punch in BKFC…and he’s ready to rain down those hammers on Mick Terrill in London and f**kin’ WEMBLEY STADIUM!!! We couldn’t’ be prouder of the guy as he prepares for the biggest fight of his career!

When one talks about the LEGENDS of NHRA Drag Racing, there is one name that  just might dominate them all...and that is JOHN FORCE!! 16 NHRA Championships, 150+ wins....he is the most dominant driver in drag racing history. And ahead of The Menards NHRA  Nationals at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, the man himself gave us a call...and at 73, he shows no signs of slowing down!!

At one point, A&E’s “Live PD!” was the #1 most watched show on cable TV…and then the death of George Floyd, among others, changed the country’s focus on law enforcement…and in the wake of protests across the country, A&E cancelled the show. After that, co-host Sean “Sticks” Larkin retired from the Tulsa Police Dept. after almost 25 years…but then the improbable happened! The Reelz network brought back the series, now under the name “On Patrol:LIVE!”…and lightning struck again!! Over the last 2 weeks, it’s been the #1 most watched show on cable!! We got Sticks on the phone to congratulate him on the show’s success!! PLUS… Kyle Petty family legacy in NASCAR is the stuff of legend. His grandfather Lee was a driver. We talked to Dan, fresh off a visit to the UK and seeing Rage Against the Machine in NYC to find out what’s on deck for him!!
