Geoff Lloyd and Annabel Port kick off the week with another Hometime Show

We finish off the week by asking, quite simply, "What's the strangest thing or person you've seen in your back garden?" Snow White, a tiger, and a grand piano are just some of the gems we heard...

Geoff and the team discuss the following: marrows, cartoon injuries, what your dad doesn't eat, what you don't understand, and what that person who was in that band now does for a living, but to keep you in suspense, you'll have to listen to this to find out which order they talk about all that in!

Technology that won't die. That's something that Geoff discusses today, but that's just the start of it- later on in the show, he comes up with perhaps the most original phone in topic in history- in fact, it goes as far as re-writing some of history- it's that original!

Phew this week is dragging...however, Geoff soldiers on regardless and even makes the odd funny or two- he's a real trooper sometimes. He also makes a scrap yard made of other people's property that you've broken, and discusses the surprising amount of you that own original artworks.

Geoff rounds off our short four day week by asking what odd security measures your parents take, how you spoil your pet, and what you've found when you've been rumaging around in a bin. The word "eclectic" is over-used these days, so we'll just call it "diverse"...

As the title of this podcast would suggest, Lee Mack drops by for a chat with Geoff and they discuss his book, trains, and why all days should have a different name- all of them.

Geoff returns to discuss matters such as how to beat terrorists, what you can take from work to use for your own devices, and the team finally decide what is posh and what is not posh.

Geoff and the team are back from their break. They've had some holiday so they should be well rested and sharp as tacks. Let's see if that's the case....

As it's Red Nose Day we update our list of famous people living or dead who have very red noses. But that's not all, oh no, Russell Brand also calls Geoff for a chat, and we hear the story of Geoff's dad's attempt to make him a homemade red nose...

Phew, what a busy show- we had Frank Skinner join us, we had Geoff's brother being coached in interview technique by a person who interviews people, and we had a chat with the XX. AND, we still did calls, and Annabel did her postbag and all the usual stuff. You could say it's a bumper edition.

Despite the excitement of an iminent Pope announcement, Geoff just about manages to stay calm. Just. In other news we talk about nomenative determinism, and queueing for things just because everyone else is doing it.

It's Annabel's birthday, but we didn't let that distract us from the job in hand, as we hear stories of squalor that will make your toes curl. On a lighter note, we speak to Geoff's brother about interviewing The Rock, and we invent a really relaxing TV network.

Sometimes it seems like you're not the favourite child in your family- so why are your siblings better than you? Not that it matters, parents never really have one child they like more than the others...or do they?

Geoff and Annabel honour the fact that it's both International Womens' Day AND the last show before Mothers' Day, by asking about mums. Geoff even calls his mum during the show, and that's always fun. Plus he questions why it's now ok to take penknives on planes.
