Dr. Randy White joins Brannon today to discuss the article that Dr. White wrote that has gone viral. The article is entitled: Why I Oppose the Church Growth Movement. Today White goes into greater detail today as he gives the reasons why a pastor is not called to be a CEO, why the purpose of the church is not for community based on self or emotionalism and Dr. White explains the danger of manipulation and why so many churches today manipulate and entertain their members. Last Friday the Obama administration proposed executive actions pertaining to potential gun buyers. For example, Bill expressed concerns about the government creating databases that would show that if you've even taken Zoloft or Paxil or you've seen a psychologist or psychiatrist they will expand the prohibited persons roll regarding guns. He also noted that if the government believes you can't manage your financial affairs then you can't have a gun as well. In fact, Bill claims the government has snared 175,000 veterans this way.

Paul warns the church in Colossians 2 about the philosophies of men. This word philosophy in this verse refers to a love of knowledge but not Biblical knowledge but worldly knowledge that includes the pursuit of higher knowledge that includes occult or gnostic practices. In this first of a two part series titled, “Evolution Not a Chance” Dr. David Menton talks about the mechanisms for evolution, mutations and natural selection. According to evolutionists these two mechanisms, using nothing but blind chance, are supposed to allow for evolution to occur. Evolutionists claim that mutations are the source of new information; however, Dr Menton demonstrates that mutations do not add new information. Mutations are well-known to impair existing systems. Dr. Menton finishes this session with some examples demonstrating the impossibility of evolution based on blind chance.
