Tonight on AVFM News and Activism we will dedicate the guest portion of our show to covering current developments in the Vladek Filler case.  Joining us will be Paul Elam and John the Other to talk about the abhorrent legal maneuverings of  J. Men, you need to get in touch with your feminine side. What this means is, be more compassionate, demonstrate more empathy towards other people, get in touch with your emotions, and generally be a better human being. This is the message we are routinely bludgeoned with, and mostly, although empathy, compassion and self awareness are certainly good things, this message is at it's base, a message of hatred towards men. It assumes that masculinity and compassion, or empathy, or self awareness are alien and contradictory concepts. On Thursday, AVFM hosts John the Other, Girl Writes What, Typhon Blue and Paul Elam will be running the chainsaw through this normalized message of hared and scorn, and dynamiting whatever is left over. AVFM will be proposing an alternate suggestion, simply that the world, becomes collectively more masculine. By which we mean, more compassionate, and with greater empathy, and justice.

We all know the score. Rape. That most evil of all crimes, a fate worse then death, the most appalling thing one person can inflict on another. Well, let’s be honest here. The most appalling thing a man can do to a woman, since other forms of rape either don’t exist or don’t matter. But have we ever stopped to wonder what our beliefs about ‘rape’ say about us as a society? What if our conventional understanding of rape is a magic trick, a slight of hand designed to hide a deeper and more widespread rape, a rape of our very identities? We see a man, alone, hobbled by iron. He’s kneeling in the path of a tank, unable to stand. You can see his hands trembling, or maybe he’s beyond fear and watching his death with uncomprehending eyes.  It will crush him. You know it will crush him.   You excuse the sight.   A the centre of an emerging political movement is an old idea. This is the mobilization of force, the changing of laws, the suppression of speech, and the exclusion of enemies, as designated by the hysterical crying of infantalized, post adult toddlers. At the heart of all this furious action is almost always a grave injustice. Which is to say, somebody’s feelings got hurt, but not just any somebody, a victim. And to assuage their pain, or sometimes just to quiet their bad acting – we, the emotionally driven, we the logic eschewing, we the conformists and the low status believers in orthodoxy and obeyers of authority will divide, slander, accuse, attack, and initiate violence on behalf of those who loudly self identify as victims, because although acting on their behalf, nobody can ever blame the victim.   The power of victimhood is something which victims, particularly self selecting victims understand. However, this is becoming increasingly, for everyone else to understand as well, because self selecting victims are a growing demographic with increasing dominance of the social landscape, and their power is to control everybody else through the most ancient and noblest of human instincts, our compassion. Without directly passing themselves through the pain and damage normally associated with attainment of the status of victimhood, self selecting victims are emerging as a new class of tyrants, smashing the human rights of others aside, abrogating the basic principals of a nonviolent civil society, and leading us quickly in the direction of rule by fear, paranoia and hatred – and masterfully manipulating the use of proxy violence against anyone who would point out the problem.   We are all creeps now. The word, of course is the definitive and the preferred tool of social exclusion by the good people. The non creeps. If you're one of us, that is, if you're a creep, your opinions are wrong, by definition, you are undesirable, you're not sexy, you're not attractive, and its only a matter of time before vultures begin circling your carcass. Tonight we have as our guest Elaine Lisner of the Parsemus Foundation, an organization dedicated to alternative forms of contraception outside of the influence of large pharmaceutical companies.  Of the many initiatives currently being undertaken the Parsemus Foundation’s primary focus is on the development of Vasgel or RISUG (Reversible Inhibition of Sperm Under Guidance) as an effective, safe, reversible and affordable method of controlling male fertility.  Trials are currently under way and it is hoped that soon Vasgel will be approved by the FDA for use in the United States so it can be brought to market. Male fertility control is a crucial men’s rights issue so please do not miss this episode where we will be talking about the history of Vasgel, why it hasn’t yet been brought to market and the future of male fertility control.   The golden bridle. When we talk about the carrot and the stick, this would be the carrot. It's the positive inducement to men, to comply with the prevailing status quo, even when their role in it is draft animal in a yoke. We've talked a lot on AVFM about the traditionally acceptable role for men, that of provider, protector, all around utility dispensing labor, cash, protection, and absorbing and dispensing violence on behalf of others. And weve talked previously about the fear of lost public identity which motivates men to stay on that figurative treadmil. But tonight, although we'll be straying into discussions of the social penalties of nonconformance, we're really talking about heroes. What can possibly so valuable that men throughout history have willingly died, been mutilated, surrendered consideration as human beings entirely in exchange for it. What is the gold bridle

Tonight we have as our guest The Common Man from the Youtube channel The Common Man Media.  Formerly known as Gogononstop, TCM has been a member of the MRA you tube community for years and has been one of the most energetic proponents of the rights of male students in our education system.  Covering topics from misandry to lack of due process when it comes to sexual assault cases on campus (specifically the “dear colleague letter or April 4th directive) he has gained a reputation as an expert on the subject of what has become known as the War on Men and Boys in our education system.   The cost of violence is what makes it repellant. We imagine, as so called civilized human beings that it is the negative outcome of our own potential violence on our potential targets that we seek to avoid when we reject violence both in principal and in practice. But this may simply be post facto rationalization. Rather than a higher sense of morals, It may be the cost in hazard of direct initiation of violence that shaped our civilized aversion to it, as well as the psychological easy with which we justify, excuse or simply don't even recognize as violence the initiation of violent force through a proxy.   Girl Writes What, John the Other and Typhon Blue will put the gloves on ( the latex surgical gloves ) and take a look at the finer details of the use of force's in enforcing often violent social norms, authoritarian coercion and rigorous preservation of an existing status quo.
