Coming from a world were we were constantly taught to focus our eyes on what is unseen rather than what is seen, it is easy to lose sight of normalcy. Many honest and sincere Christian people can get so caught up in what it means to be “spiritual” that they lose their humanity in the process. The path to inner healing, for countless Free Believers is a path back to the real YOU. It is more a process of unlearning then it is of learning. Because of the way many of us were raised, we have become obsessive compulsive in our relationship with God. Rather than just take life as it comes and trust that we are okay with Him always, many people worry constantly about everything they do. The real joy in the Christian walk comes when we realize that no matter what we do, we are okay with Him. Sometimes you just have to “Let it Go” if you want to experience any level of joy and contentment with God. Giving yourself permission to do that is perhaps the most important decision you’ll ever make.
