Darin and Robert have an intense conversation about how we have all been raised to believe for THINGS rather than just believing in Him. \"Believing\" and \"faith\" have become nothing more than tools of manipulation in the world of modern day Christianity. The sad result is that most of us have spent just about all our \"Believe\" praying for a list of things we don\'t believe He\'ll give us. We\'ve taken the very avenue through which we are supposed to become one with the Father and we\'ve turned it into a spiritual garage sale where we\'ll take whatever we can get for just a crumb of life. This is a podcast you might want to post on your page and listen to several times. This could literally change everything for some of us. Enjoy!!
The Power of Religion
When Wild People Pray
A Womans True Beauty
Severing the Partnership With Fear
The Foundation of Friendship
Leading People To Christ?
Should He Always Be On Your Mind
Darin and Amy talk about the move that the institution made years ago, that sealed the spiritual coffins of multiplied millions of people from that point on. Christianity was never a religion until this particular teaching was born and from that day until now, something irreplaceable died. This episode of \"Into the Wild\" is a \"book worthy\" episode. An entire book could and should be written on this very topic. We can spend hours, days and weeks listing out everything we think is wrong with the church but the bottom line is that there was one decision that was made hundreds of years ago that is responsible for every stale and molded crumb of Christianity today. Enjoy!
Darin talks with Aimee about some issues that have popped up in his life in the last two years. After being out of the institutional church world for nearly nine years, Darin has started developing all the signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He\'s been having nightmares almost five nights a week. So many of us have been injured deeply from our church experience. Some of the deepest wounds don\'t expose themselves until years after the fact. Spiritual abuse and manipulation has more of a devastating effect on people then we even realize. Sometimes outlasting an injury is more important than getting a healing from one. You\'ll enjoy this heart felt conversation.
Darin and Aimee talk about how the church world has used terms like \"spiritual growth\" without having any idea whatsoever what it is or how to obtain it. Most of us have worried at some point in our lives whether or not we\'re growing in the Lord. There are some things we can sit back, relax and rely on God to take care of. Spiritual growth is one of those things. Sadly, institutional religion suppresses growth in their attempt to promote it. It binds people and prevents them from growing naturally like they would in the wild. Unfortunately many of us end up looking like the Asian women who have had their feet bound from birth. We grow, but we become crippled because of the bindings. You\'ll enjoy this podcast!!
Darin and Amy Ramos revisit the topic they covered last week. They have a deep conversation about those times in life where each of us simply have to face something alone. There is an irreplaceable value in suffering that this generation has lost site of completely. Understanding and embracing the hardships that life throws at us is something that few people in our time ever endure from beginning to end. Our spiritual growth depends on each of us taking up our cross and dealing with life. This is a great discussion for anyone in the midst of hardship. Enjoy!
Failure To Launch
Women In The Church
Darin and Aimee invite their good friend Faith Marquez to join them in a podcast. The three have an incredible discussion about the toll that learning how to communicate in the church world can eventually take in people. Having to act, speak, walk and think like an actor in a religious play can be exstreemly tiresom and confusing. Over time many of us end up losing our idently almost completely and we sometimes forget the sound of our own voice. Living in the wild is the most wonderful thing in the world because each of us get to reclaim OURSELVES for the first time in years. Learning the YOU language is the beautiful side of freedom in the wild.
