Why do black people continue to call themselves niggers over 100 years after slavery?Within the "black community" the word nigger or nigga(not sure what the difference is) is socially acceptable,however if someone outside of the black race uses the word its deemed as socially unacceptable.Is there still hatred for whites within the black community because of slavery? WTF - OMG - LMAO - BFF well they are NOT quiet groovy & choice but they did evolve from A 90's era & generaltion they will be long known for A DOT COM business wave & alot of CRAZY Political back stabbing leading into The NEW millennium. In the 90's A REAL 3rd party candidate emerged. William Jefferson Clinton former Gov. of Arkansas took the Democratic primary with A passion of political skill & in SPORTS Dallas once again became Americas Team, Baseball said hello to Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa. The Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan WON 6 NBA titles & A guy name Wayne Gretsky put the NHL into A NEW Era The 1990s was truly the electronic age. In 1989, 15% of American households had a computer.  And by 2000, this figure increased to 51%, with 41.5% online.  Internet lingo like plug-ins,  BTW We signed our mail with a  :-)  smile, a   ;-)  wink, or a :-* kiss.  And - everyone has a cell phone (even Jason at right!) In 1996 The Republican National Party clearly stood up and said NO Patrick Buchan for President and told their members it's Bob Dole. 1ST HOUR=The first wave of U.S. Special Forces Green Berets arrived in Uganda this week to support the battle against a guerrilla group accused of widespread atrocities, Pentagon and military officials told NBC News. President Barack Obama has ordered up to 100 U.S. military trainers into central Africa to help combat the Lord's Resistance Army, a band of just 200 rebels behind a campaign of murder, rape and kidnapping that began 20 years ago. Officials told NBC News on Friday the first dozen Green Berets were in Uganda and the remaining American trainers would be deployed to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic and South Sudan. In the president's notification to Congress on Friday, Obama said the U.S. forces were combat-equipped and would provide assistance and training to regional forces working to remove the group's leader, Joseph Kony, and his band from the battlefield. 2ND HOUR-OPEN TOPIC

1st Hour-Mars Hill, NC -- The Leader of the North Carolina House is taking criticism for suggesting state government should perform random drug testing on people who receive public assistance and possibly on state employees.House Speaker Thom Tillis said last Friday at a meeting of Madison County Republicans he would like to push the requirement if the Republicans remain in power after the 2012 elections.He also agreed with a town hall participant's statement that such testing be expanded to state employees The recorded comments were uploaded to YouTube.Jennifer Rudinger with the state chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union said Tuesday such requirements are unconstitutional and ineffective.The state Court of Appeals has ruled that the random drug testing of Graham County school employees is unlawful. 2ND Hour-OPEN TOPIC (CURRENT NEWS)

Hellums of Paris, Miss.; and Pvt. Donald D. Owens of Cleveland will be buried in a single casket, officials said.     The soldiers, assigned to the 773rd Tank Battalion, were fighting their way east to France’s eastern border in fall 1944, clearing German forces out of Parroy Forest near Lunéville.   The men were presumed dead after their M10 Tank Destroyer was attacked by enemy forces in October 1944. Two soldiers survived the attack, and DoD says evidence then indicated the soldiers’ remains were destroyed. The tenth 10th Amendment limits the powers of the federal government to those delegated to it by the Constitution.  One of the theoretical pillars of the United States Constitution is the idea of "checks and balances" among the powers and responsibilities of the three branches of American government: the executive, the legislative and the judiciary. For example, while the Congress (legislative) has the power to create law, the executive (President) can veto any legislation -- an act which, in turn, can be overridden by Congress. The President nominates judges to the nation's highest judiciary authority (The Supreme Court), but those nominees must be approved by Congress. The Supreme Court, in its turn, has the power to invalidate as "unconstitutional" any law passed by the Congress. The past decade has been a difficult one for our military: fighting two controversial wars, putting up with an anti-war movement unlike anything we’ve seen since Vietnam, combating unconventional enemies — not to mention the difficulties our military families face on a regular basis. Our brave men and women in uniform have not only had to battle Islamic terrorists, but they’ve also had to put up with rhetoric from all corners of the Left that has belittled them and diminished their efforts. It’s a shame to see our military treated with the contempt they’ve received from the Left. President Ronald Reagan firmly believed in and promoted the concept of “peace through strength.” A strong military is obviously the backbone of a defensive strategy. Conservatives need to ensure that our military has what it needs to defend our nation and its interests in the most effective way. Our leaders need to empower our forces with the best in technology and training in times of peace as well as times of war. Like it or not, the United States is a leader on the world stage (in spite of what the Left may have to say about our role). No, we shouldn’t play “world cop” and meddle in, or feel obligated to be involved in, every affair that takes place on the globe. But, as part of our leadership role, our interests are spread wide. Sometimes we have to take unpopular actions to defend our interests. At the same time, we should only engage our military when our interests (and, in some cases, the interests of close allies) are at stake. .

1st Hour-North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue, a Democrat, signaled on Friday that she'll oppose passage of a proposed constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, according to the AP. “My top priority is creating jobs," said Perdue in a statement. "Too many people are out of work and I’ve heard from several business leaders who’ve told me that the proposed constitutional amendment will harm our state’s business climate and make it harder to grow jobs here." She went on to elaborate on her position on the issue: "I believe that marriage is between one man and one woman: That’s why I voted for the law in 1996 that defines marriage as between one man and one woman, and that’s why I continue to support that law today. But I’m going to vote against the amendment because I cannot in good conscience look an unemployed man or woman in the eye and tell them that this amendment is more important than finding them a job. In addition, a number of legal experts have argued that this amendment, if passed, could eliminate legal protections for all unmarried couples in our state, regardless of sexual orientation. -1ST HOUR Even after his death, 14-year-old New Yorker Jamey Rodemeyer (pictured) is still being taunted by bully kids at his school.In an interview with The Today Show, Jamey’s parents spoke of the horror they endured when their daughter had to listen to further taunts about her late brother at her homecoming dance last week.“She was having a great time, and all of a sudden a Lady Gaga song came on, and they all started chanting for Jamey, all of his friends,” said mother Tracey Rodemeyer of the incident to reporter Ann Curry.“Then the bullies that put him into this situation started chanting, ‘You’re better off dead!’ and ‘We’re glad you’re dead!’ and things like that.“My daughter came home all upset. It was supposed to be a time for her to grieve and have fun with her friends, and it turned into bullying even after he’s gone.”Jamey’s father Tim Rodemeyer added: “I can’t grasp it in my mind. I don’t know why anyone would do that.
