12/16/2020Season 11, Episode 57 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Wednesday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about some of the most-recent news concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers and that includes us reviewing the team’s recent transactions, the early-week injury report and more.Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin talked to the media on Tuesday so Alex and I go over what all he had to say that was noteworthy.Alex and I have both went through the all-22 from the Steelers Sunday night loss to the Buffalo Bills so we recap what all stuck out to us when it comes to the team’s play on both sides of the football. We spend a lot of time talking about the Steelers running game woes and the play of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of late.We discuss the deep passing game, Roethlisberger’s mechanics and more. We go over which player is likely to wear the communication helmet with the green dot and more.The Steelers have mad a few other recent transactions so we recap them and quickly give thoughts on the newest outside linebacker Cassius Marsh.Alex and I are pleased to welcome Matt Parrino from Syracuse.com to the show Friday morning. Matt covers the Bills for the outlet and he’ll be present for the Sunday night game against the Steelers in Buffalo. 12/9/2020Season 11, Episode 54 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Wednesday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday night loss to the Washington Football Team.Alex and I get the pregame news and minutiae knocked out at the start of the show and then get into talking extensively about the Steelers ongoing running game woes and what might could be done to help correct it. We discuss possible lineup changes on the offensive line, scheme, individual play and more.Alex and then get into the continuous drop issue the Steelers are having with several offensive players and what the response from head coach Mike Tomlin was. From there, Alex and I get into breaking down the entire offensive play from Monday night and go over specific play calls we took a lot of issue with. We then talk about the calls for offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner to be fired and do our best to provide ammunition for those calling for such.Alex and I finish up talking about the offensive play on Monday night and then move on to breaking down the play on the defensive side of the football. We go over the big plays allowed, some individual player breakdown and more. 12/3/2020Season 11, Episode 52 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Wednesday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to a little about the Pittsburgh Steelers Wednesday home win against the Baltimore Ravens.After a few opening thoughts on the Wednesday game, Alex and I recap all of the roster moves that took place right ahead of that game that included center Maurkice Pouncey being placed on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list.Alex and I discuss the knee injury that Steelers outside linebacker Bud Dupree suffered Wednesday that has ended his 2020 season. We talk about what the future might hold for him and a little about rookie outside linebacker Alex Highsmith, who is expected to be the one to take over for the injured Dupree.Alex and I then get hard and heavy into breaking down the Steelers game against the Ravens. We start with the offense and then the defense. We talk about the early flow of the game and all the early mistakes. We also spend time on the game that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger played, the drops on offense, the running game and much more.We do the same on defense and make sure to spend extra time going over the last big throw of the game by Roethlisberger to wide receiver James Washington.Week 13 is here and so Alex and I pick most of the weekend games against the spread.
