Ron Paul 2012 Podcast

Summary: Most independent minded Americans realize that Washington DC is corrupt, and is run for the administrative convenience of Wall St. banks and multinational corporations. Republicans and Democrats have let us down time and time again. If the United States are to remain free and democratic, we must save our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Don't let the corporate media and the special interests tell you how to think! They demonize any restraint on federal authority (like Constitutionalism, states-rights, fully informed juries, and the OathKeepers) as racist, extremist, or seditious! Why? Because they are authoritarians at heart who want to run your life and take your money on behalf of the wealthiest people on earth. Ron Paul is America's leading voice for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. If you are disgusted by what corporate interests have gotten away with in recent years, you must understand that it wouldn't have been possible without government complicity. A small government cannot pass out favors to cronies, and therefore representatives are less likely to be corrupted. Don't allow the media to convince you that libertarian ideals are quaint, bizarre, or anachronistic. Don't allow the likes of the ADL and Southern Poverty Law Center to get away with saying that you're a racist if you believe you've been taxed enough and you think the borders should be secured. Dr. Paul represents a return to common sense in government, and to the freedom that allowed such great prosperity in our country. So take a listen to Congressman Paul's words as he is interviewed by the media, gives speeches to students and supporters, and debates ideological foes. If you have had it with the Bush/Obama regime, Ron Paul offers Real Hope For America. Let the rEVOLution continue! (To donate or listen to additional audio, visit http://ronpaul2012.podbean.com/)

Texas Straight Talk: The Costs of War (4/30/2012) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:05:06

In this weeks Texas Straight Talk telephone update, Dr. Ron Paul makes that case that the ultimate costs of war go beyond the dollars spent and generations of enemies determined to exact revenge. What about our men and women? Governments historically use and abuse their own soldiers; it's an undeniable fact. In this time of impending bankruptcy, we can ration resources to care for the hundreds-of-thousands of veterans in need - or we can continue to spill blood and treasure for a fool's world order.  Ron Paul Weekly Update - April 20th thru April 27th | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:55:40

The campaign continues, as the media narrative shifts to the seemingly inevitable match-up between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Ron Paul is the lone Republican challenger left standing, as Newt Gingrich announced his intention to suspend his campaign following Romney's five state sweep on Tuesday. Yet, the media is starting to recognize that Dr. Paul will have a role to play come August, as it becomes increasingly obvious that the Congressman has fared much better in the delegate process than in the different state Republican straw-polls. But make no mistake: Romney's establishment minions are trying to pull out all kinds of shenanigans at state conventions around the country. A Romney/Obama general election would be an entirely uninspiring affair. Let's hope that the Congressman does anything and everything  within his power to maximize our collective voice (and the voices of the millions of Americans who feel unrepresented by the presumptive nominees of the two major parties).  Texas Straight Talk: CISPA is the New SOPA (4/23/2012) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:04:47

This is Ron Paul's Texas Straight Talk legislative update for the week of 4/23 - We should not be surprised that big brother is back, making another attempt to take over our free internet under the guise of national security. SOPA and PIPA where widely rebuked by the people, due to the legislation's vague language and the widely perceived federal power grab. Many in the press are already trying to convince you that CISPA, or the “Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act”,  is completely unrelated legislation. But make no mistake, this bill will only further intertwine the interests of big business and big government, and will threaten the internet as we know it!
