In the second segment a miraculous host-swap occurs and Ben Hanson chats with Matt Miller and Bryan Vore about Fantasia: Music Evolved, A City Sleeps, and the overall state of Harmonix as a studio. Then in the third segment we talk about this weekend's exciting Extra Life livestream with Tim Turi and Game Informer community-member Zachary Pligge. For the third year in a row now we're raising money for children's hospitals and we need your help to make it a success. This week, we discuss to two chilling new horror games and a very promising Kickstarter project by some people who worked on the BioShock franchise. First up, is one of the year's most anticipated games, Alien: Isolation, which promised to bring back the tense, dark vibe of the original Ridley Scott film. Jeff Marchiafava reviewed the game for GI, and stops by to tell us how the developers succeeded – and failed – in some important ways. In the second segment, host Matt Helgeson is joined by a special guest, Forrest Dowling of The Molasses Flood. Dowling was a lead designer on BioShock Infinite, and is leading a six-person team of ex-Irrational vets. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is the highest-profile Lord of the Rings game in years, and we break down the game in detail. It's not without its flaws – which leads to some disagreements among the crew on just how good the game really is. This week we talk about a surprising Wii U exclusive, the year's biggest video game acquisition, and catch up with post-review impressions of Destiny. In our first segment, we discuss the year's biggest (and most shocking) business deal: Microsoft's multi-billion dollar acquisition of Mojang and the Minecraft franchise. Mojang went from being one of the biggest independent studios in the world to being part of a technology giant – but founder Notch isn't sticking around. We talk about what this deal means for Mojang, Microsoft, and the future of Minecraft. Next up, host Matt Helgeson is joined by Andrew Reiner and reviewer Kyle Hilliard to talk about Hyrule Warriors, a new merging of the Zelda and Dynasty Warriors franchises. Our regular host Matt Helgeson had a full plate today, so video producer Ben Hanson sat in his regal hot seat to discuss the latest and biggest news in gaming. PC editor Daniel Tack has concerns over the lacking social features in the game and  so we paired him up with our future reviewer of the game Matt Miller to share their impressions of the ambitious shooter from the creators of Halo. For the second segment, we rounded up watch-enthusiast Jeff Cork and gaming-ethusiast Andrew Reiner to discuss this week's big Apple keynote. We cover the gaming potential of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and try to understand Silicon Valley's new obsession with wearable tech by debating the announcement of the Apple Watch.
