'Boring Boring Chelsea!' Chelsea FanCast #317 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:52:39

Stamford Chidge is joined by Dr Mart, Dan Silver and Clayton Beerman to discuss the 'boring' 0-0 which clearly upset the Goons and all neutral football fans... Another great defensive display by Chelsea against Arsenal on Sunday to upset the media, neutrals and most of all the bed wetting latte drinkers from N7. Boring boring Chelsea the hemorrhoid stadium sang in their bitter angst, but we know it’s just plain nonsense. We had more shots on target and but for some inept refereeing would have won the game. Job done. Unbeaten in all games against the top four home and away. That’s how you win championships! On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the Arsenal game, awarding our man of the match and talking about JT and Azpi and another great defensive team performance. After that we’ll be discussing why Chelsea should have had at least 2 penalties; exploding the myth of boring boring Chelsea; applauding the fact that Wenger will never beat Mourinho; looking in to the striker and fatigue crisis and congratulating Hazard and the Chelsea members of the PFA player and team of the year. We’ll finish off with our usual Chelsea round up. The Chelsea Football FanCast #317: 'Boring Boring Chelsea!'

'Countdown To Ecstasy!' Chelsea FanCast #316 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:56:46

Stamford Chidge is joined by Dr Mart, Ross Mooring and Chelsea Supporters' Trust Chairman Tim Rolls to discuss the crucial and very sexy win against Yanited! A great day on Saturday as Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Yanited brought us one match closer to lifting the Premier League title. As for the match, we all knew what to expect and Jose delivered a classic rope-a-dope on Yanited inviting them in for the first half an hour before Eden Hazard delivered what proved to be the knock-out blow on 38 minutes. After that we didn’t really break sweat with a quality defensive team performance. Who wants sexy football when you can have winning football, and if we win the next two matches the title will be ours. Bring it on! On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the Yanited game, awarding our man of the match and talking about Zouma, Hazard and a great defensive team performance. After all that we’ll be explaining why possession is 9/10ths of the bore; asking why the media and opposition fans are trying to devalue our title winning aspirations with accusations of negative, boring football; and asking what has happened to stir the Stamford Bridge crowd in to such a rousing atmosphere in the last two home games. We’ll be talking to Tim about his role as Chairman of the CST and what the Trust has achieved over the last couple of years, and then we’ll finish off with our usual Chelsea round up, including Tim’s Top 10 and answering the Portugeezer’s question about what constitutes a Chelsea legend. The Chelsea Football FanCast #316 - 'Countdown To Ecstasy!'

'The Masked Avenger!' Chelsea FanCast #315 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:53:50

Stamford Chidge is joined by Dr Mart and Dan Silver to discuss the dogged last minute win against the embarrassing neighbours QPR. A horrible game but a great result best sums up Chelsea’s win in the Loftus Road toilet bowl. To be fair QPR made it tough for Chelsea with a bobbly pitch and their bobbly headed fans. But all the coin and bottle throwing couldn’t deny Chelsea another three points as they continue the march to the title. As for QPR, all their frothing at the mouth every time a Chelsea player touched the ball can’t hide the fact that they are and always have been a championship club and forever in Chelsea’s shadow. How can you put tickets for the biggest game of your season on General sale, and remember they only have a capacity of 18,000. West London is there’s? 10 blokes from Acton are you fucking sure? Good riddance to bad rubbish. On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the QPR game, awarding our man of the match and talking about Oscar, Hazard and Courtois. After all that we’ll be asking whilst it’s all well and good digging out results, do we have enough in the tank to see out the season. We’ll also be saying good riddance to bad QPR rubbish. To wrap up we’ll have the usual Chelsea FanCast round up. Chelsea FanCast #315 'The Masked Avenger!'

 'We've Got The Remy-dy!' Chelsea FanCast #314 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:52:47

Stamford Chidge is joined by Jonathan Kydd, Chelsea journalist Dan Levene and Chelsea FanCast writer Clayton Beerman to discuss the win against Stoke, Costa's hamstring, Charlie Adams' goal, Matthew Harding's Blue & White Army and Hazard's brilliance. Another dogged win against Stoke which brings Chelsea 3 points nearer the title. 5 more wins and a draw will win it, but it’s clearly going to be hard going and nothing can be taken for granted. Of course it might be so much easier if Chelsea could finish the plethora of chances they create. Will Costa’s hamstring injury make this even harder in the next 8 matches or do we have the Remy-dy? Only time will tell. On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the Stoke game, awarding our man of the match and talking about Costa, Hazard and Courtois. After all that we’ll be asking where has Oscar gone; applauding Matthew Harding’s Blue and White army; are we worried about Arsenal and ponder where and if Cech might be going in the summer. To wrap up we’ve got some Chelsea Chadder stats and we’ll have the usual round up. The Chelsea Football FanCast: 'We've Got The Remy-dy!'

"To Hull and Back!" Chelsea FanCast #313 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:59:28

Stamford Chidge is joined by Dr Mart and Dan Silver to discuss the nervy win against Hull and ask why do Chelsea have to make hard work of it; is it time for Zouma to start ahead of Cahill and should Remy get more game time. We also debunk the myth that it's Chelsea's fault for English club's failure in Europe! Blimey, Chelsea don’t make it easy on us do they. Two superb goals put us 2-0 against Hull inside 10 minutes only for some Keystone Cops defending to let Hull back in to make it 2-2. On another day we might not have got away with it but thankfully the boys in blue showed some character and Remy the forgotten man came on and scored the winner with his first touch to bring home all three points. We now need 19 points from our last 9 games and as Eden Hazard said it will be like 9 cup finals. Something tells me that it won’t be good for the old ticker, but that’s Chelsea isn’t it! On the show tonight we kick off with the player ratings for the Hull game and then ask is it time for Zouma to take over from Cahill and should Remy get more game time? After all that we discuss the blatant hypocrisy in the media after Gerrard’s feeble apology for getting sent off for a stamp, and also we debunk the myth that it’s all Chelsea’s fault for English club's poor performances in Europe. The Chelsea Football FanCast: "To Hull and Back!"

 Hysteria! Chelsea FanCast #312 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:50:51

Stamford Chidge returns after a break together with Dr Mart and Dan Silver for the resurrection of the 'old skool' Chelsea FanCast podcast. Chelsea FanCast TV is dead - Long live the Chelsea FanCast Podcast!! A funny old week at Chelsea – we go out rather limply on to 10 men on away goals to PSG in the Champions League and we fail to take advantage of another City slip up by only managing a draw at home to Southampton. Yes, it could have been much better, but why the hysteria? We were only a few minutes away from getting to the Champions League quarter finals and we have now extended our lead at the top of the table to 6 points with a game in hand. I think a healthy dose of Chidge perspective is needed on the show tonight, and by the way it is very good to be back I hope you missed me as much as I missed you! As some of you may know, we will no longer be doing the Chelsea FanCast as a TV show at Sports Tonight Live which means we are returning to our roots as a podcast, coming at you live and direct every Monday from my basement – well at least the wifi signal should be decent, but either way it’s good to carrying on – you nearly lost us for a minute! On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the Southampton game and then asking was it one point gained or two points dropped; and what has happened to Cesc Fabregas? After all that we’ll looking back at last week’s exit to PSG in the Champions League and asking why did we play the way we did, and why all the hysteria about Chelsea players crowding the referee? To wrap up we’ll have a few Chelsea Chadders stats and the usual round up. The Chelsea Football FanCast #312: Hysteria!

 "30-33-43-69" The Chelsea FanCast #311 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:48:53

Jonathan Kydd is joined by Dr Mart, Darren Mantle and FFP expert Jake Cohen to discuss the appalling refereeing by Martin Atkinson which cost us all three points in the draw against Burnley; the rearguard draw against PSG; the Paris Metro racism incident and a discussion about what FFP entails for Chelsea. Former Referee's Chief Keith Hackett described Martin Atkinson's performance as arguably one of the worst in Premier League history, and who are we to argue. Two penalty claims; no punishment for a nasty foul on Brana Ivanovic and worse no punishment for a potentially career ending challenge on Nemanja Matic, who got sent off in reward for understandably reacting. Whilst Chelsea were not at the best, and should have put the game to bed long before, there's no doubt that Atkinson cost us all three points. Was the 1-1 draw with PSG a good result and a classic Jose Mourinho European away leg? And just how thankful should we be for the world class performance from Thibeaut Courtois. And how on earth can we protect Eden Hazard from constant fouls. Sadly the football in Paris was the least of our concerns as news of a disgraceful incident of racist abuse from so called Chelsea supporters filtered through. The boys discuss the ensuing fall out and the reaction from both the Club and the right minded supporters. Jake Cohen a sports Lawyer (and a Chelsea fan) and expert in Financial Fair Play is in the studio to discuss exactly what FFP means for Chelsea and to wrap up Jonathan Kydd presents this week's Chelsea Chadder Stats and has a look forward to the Capital One Cup Final this Sunday against arch rivals Spurs. The Chelsea Football FanCast: 30-33-43-69

Willian It Was Really One Nothing! Chelsea FanCast #310 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:37:30

Jonathan Kydd is joined by Mail Online's Charlie Skillen and season ticket holders Dr Mart, Dan Silver and Andy Silverman to discuss the last gasp win against Everton which keeps the Blues 7 points clear of Man City and look forward to tonight’s Champions League match against PSG in Paris. A tense and often frustrating night at the Bridge last Wednesday ended up with the right result thanks to Willian’s late winner and kept Chelsea’s lead over Man City to a healthy 7 points. Just how big was this win in the context of the title race and how did Juan Cuadrado do on his home debut? The boys look at the media meltdown following the melee between the Everton and Chelsea players and ask was Brana Ivanovic unfairly accused of a head butt and bite on James McCarthy – something for which the FA later exonerated him from? Attention is then turned to the ‘Fannies’ – the match awards for Man of the Match; Chant of the Match; Guinness and Celery moments for the Everton game. The PSG match tonight is previewed and we discuss is there anyone to fear at PSG and will David Luiz come back to haunt us? And to wrap up the boys discuss the latest Chelsea supporter news including Chelsea Chadder's Stats; The Chelsea Supporters Trust SGM; the new edition of cfcuk fanzine and Paul Canoville's tour down under. The Chelsea Football FanCast: Willian It Was Really One Nothing!

'Brana To The Rescue!' Chelsea FanCast #309 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:43:59

Jonathan Kydd is joined by Mail On-Line journalist and Chelsea supporter Charlie Skillen and season ticket holders Dan Silver, Andy Silverman and The Gaffer to discuss Chelsea's win against Aston Villa. Was the performance really that poor, and surely points are more important than performance at this stage of the season? Have the referees got it in for Chelsea and is it part of a wider campaign against the team? Saturdays win against Villa threw up one or two good performances from the team and some lovely moments of skill. The supporters, all 3,000 of them played a blinder too and belted out a decent array of chants. The boys discuss these and award their choice for Man of the Match; Chant of the Match; Guinness Moment and Celery Moment. Often underrated but very much loved by Chelsea supporters, Brana Ivanovic rescued Chelsea with a superb goal. After the match Jose Mourinho heaped on the praise for our Lion hearted Serbian right back. The boys do likewise. And to wrap up, the boys discuss their choices for Ten Chelsea Greats to be represented in a display before the PSG home game. The Chelsea Football FanCast: Brana To The Rescue!

 "If Kurt's Happy, We're Happy!" Chelsea FanCast #308 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:45:44

Stamford Chidge is joined by Chelsea journalist Dan Levene and Season Ticket holders Dan Silver & Andy Silverman. Blimey, what a week – two full on proper games which mean we are at Wembley again and still have a 5 point gap between us and City. In the middle of all that our mate Costa gets a three game ban for apparently treading on a random Liverpool player and we got to say a proper thank you and farewell to a proper Chelsea legend. But most pleasing of all is the backs to the wall bloody minded performance against City having played 120 mins only a few days before, and the huge performances in both games by one Kurt Happy Zouma – the young Frenchman looks a real prospect. On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the Man City game; awarding our man of the match and then asking was it 2 points dropped or 1 point gained; applauding the reception for Frank Lampard and asking who was the spanner with the banner? After all that we’ll looking back at last week’s second leg Capital One Cup against Liverpool and asking was Costa treated unfairly and looking forward to Spurs at Wembley and discussing Jose Mourinho’s media blackout and asking is the FA in the pocket of Sky? The Chelsea Football FanCast: "If Kurt's Happy, We're Happy!"

 'Shocking!' Chelsea FanCast #307 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:51:07

Stamford Chidge, Sophie Rose, Charlie Skillen & Dr Mart discuss the FA Cup defeat against Bradford and ask what went wrong? Was the 'B' team simply not up to it or were we complacent. Does this defeat ask serious questions about the depth of the squad, its quality and Jose's ability to rotate it? We also look forward to the Capital One Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool and ask did Chelsea get away with it last week? How do we see the game going tomorrow and what is Jose Mourinho up to with more veiled criticism of the Chelsea support last week. To wrap up Sophie opens the Chelsea FanCast email inbox and answers your questions in Sophie's Choice. The Chelsea Football FanCast: Shocking!

'Lambs To The Slaughter!' Chelsea FanCast #306 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:44:01

Stamford Chidge, Sophie Rose, Jonathan Kydd & Charlie Skillen discuss the fabulous 5-0 win against Swansea and look forward to the Capital One Cup semi-final v Liverpool. Chelsea upped their game against Swansea on Saturday with a 5-0 cull of the swans, and in the process played some superb football. Their build up play and passing was out of this world, and they were even peppering the Swansea goal with shots from outside the penalty area. 1-0 up in 49 seconds is pretty good, but 4-0 up inside 35 minutes is very special, or as Jose said “perfect”. But was this the perfect performance and are we seeing the best ever football played by a Chelsea side? On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the Swansea game and then asking is it all about confidence? Was it the perfect performance or were Chelsea somewhat profligate and why was Jose so grumpy? Later on we’ll be awarding the Fannies for the Swansea game – Man of the Match, Chant of the Match, Celery and Guinness moments. After all that we’ll be rounding up the Chelsea news from the week including a look forward to Tuesday’s Capital One semi against Liverpool and the latest transfer rumour and to wrap up Jonathan will be revealing Chelsea Chadders stats and Sophie be answering a few of your questions sent in by email! The Chelsea Football FanCast: Lambs To The Slaughter!

'The Rhythm Method!' Chelsea FanCast #305 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:47:25

Stamford Chidge, Sophie Rose, Chelsea journalist Dan Levene and Chelsea season ticket holder Dan Silver discuss Chelsea's win against Newcastle. Chelsea got back to winning ways and the title challenge got back on track with a 2-0 win against Newcastle on Saturday, but they made hard work of it. Were Cahill and Courtois rested or dropped for Cech and Zouma? A fitful and poor first half made way for a better second half where the team cajoled by Jose Mourinho finally found their rhythm. But are Chelsea getting away with it at the moment? How do they keep their rhythm in the weeks ahead? One hopes that Oscar and Costa have both found their form and rhythm too. All will be revealed on the Chelsea FanCast tonight! The team discuss the Chelsea v Newcastle game including the player ratings, and the nominations for this week's Match Awards - the Fannies - for Man of the Match; Chant of the Match; Guinness & Celery Moments before looking at this week's Chelsea news including the FA charging Jose Mourinho and the transfer rumours around Petr Cech and Lionel Messi. To wrap up Sophie reveals Chelsea Chadder's stats and answers your questions in Sophie's choice. The Chelsea Football FanCast: 'The Rhythm Method!'

New Year Blues! Chelsea FanCast #304 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:46:47

Stamford Chidge & Sophie Rose are joined by Jonathan Kydd, Charlie Skillen, Dan Silver & Jason Coveyduck to discuss Chelsea v Watford in the Cup and the marathon that was the Christmas fixtures! So the Christmas marathon finally came to an end yesterday as Chelsea washed away their New Year’s Day blues with a win against Watford in the FA Cup. After a poor first half, Jose brought on the cavalry in the form of Willian and Diego Costa and Chelsea ended up winning comfortably. More noteworthy though was the absence of Jose’s untouchables. Has the Special One finally realized that some of our players clearly needed a rest? Better late than never I suppose. Let’s hope he learns to trust the likes of Zouma and Remy for the second half of the season! On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with Ross’ player ratings for the Watford game, before we have a good old natter about the game itself asking what's up with Andre Schurrle and are Remy and Zouma the answer? No fannies this week, but instead we’ll be talking about Chelsea’s squad rotation, or lack of. We’ll also be asking whether Chelsea need to bolster the squad in the transfer window. Later on we’ll also be getting Frank about Lampard after the meltdown about his extended contract at City. To wrap up Sophie will be delving through your emails and we’ll hopefully be answering your questions. The Chelsea Football FanCast: New Year Blues!
