 Here Wigan-o, Here Wigan-o, Here Wigan-o! " The Chelsea Football FanCast #212 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Chidge is joined by the usual suspects to run the rule over Chelsea’s first match of the Premier League campaign against Wigan. So here we are again for our first proper match of the season, or should we say ‘Here Wigan-o, Here Wigan-o, Here Wigan-o!’ The boys did all the hard work inside 7 minutes to secure our first 3 points of the season, and away points at that. Great debuts for Hazard and Oscar which bodes well for the season, and what a great turnout by the Chelsea faithful! And to cap it all Liverpool get stuffed at West Brom and Sp*rs blow it at Newcastle. All in all a good weekend and great to be back. We review the win against Wigan, and as always we award our match awards – the Fannies – for Man of the Match; Chant of the Match; Guinness and Celery moments. Later on in the show, the lovely Lauren finally gets her own slot – ‘Laurens Loan Report’ where she will report every week on how all the players currently sent out on loan by Chelsea are doing. We also have a proper ‘You’re on CFFC’ and we have an exciting competition for you to enter where you can win the ‘Champions of Europe DVD’ The Chelsea Football FanCast: Here Wigan-o, Here Wigan-o, Here Wigan-o!

Carefree in the Community! - The Chelsea Football FanCast #211 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Chidge and the crew are back for the new season and are joined by their favourite guest – Neil ‘Spy’ Barnett! Football is back, and so are we, your award winning Chelsea FanCast!!   Sunday saw the official start of the new season with the Community Shield, the traditional curtain raiser where the FA Cup winners take on the League winners. Chelsea v Citeh. We lost 3-2, but does it really matter? A pretty poor turnout and atmosphere would seem to indicate that it doesn’t?

CPO - what does the future hold? The Chelsea Football FanCast #210 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

On 23rd July, an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Chelsea Pitch Owners will be held. Voting will take place on 5 resolutions to determine whether the CPO can sell shares again. At the heart of this issue, over and above the possibility of criminal liability, is the ability of the CPO to raise money, money they claim they need to repay the loan from Chelsea FC, through selling shares. This of course raises fears from skeptical supporters of shareholders ‘profiteering' and 'concert parties' being formed i.e. groups buying shares to influence any future vote on the status and future of the CPO. And of course beyond this, the issues still linger about the future of Stamford Bridge as the permanent home for Chelsea FC; can the CPO genuinely safeguard Stamford Bridge as Chelsea’s home in the future?, and what of talk of moves to Battersea; Earls Court or even Old Oak Common and White City? Alternatively could Stamford Bridge be viably re-built to house 55,000 supporters on a match day? On Wednesday, 11th July, the Chelsea FanCast recorded a special one-off show to get right to the heart of the key issues involved with the CPO EGM and the future of the CPO and Stamford Bridge as the home of Chelsea FC. The aim was to hold a ‘Question Time’ style debate, chaired by ‘Stamford’ Chidge, to get a good debate going on the issues, facts and opinions about what’s going on, where we are at present and what the future holds. The panel was made up of CPO related organisations; CPO shareholders and notable Chelsea fans: John King – Chelsea Author; CPO Shareholder Tim Rolls – Home and Away season ticket holder; CPO Shareholder Gray Smith – CPO Director, Board Member and CPO shareholder. Author of the special report into CPO share selling Dan Levene – Chelsea correspondent for the Fulham Chronicle; CPO shareholder Dave Spring – SayNoCPO; CPO shareholder Adil Pastakia – Campaign 55, CPO shareholder Darren Mantle – SayNoCPO and cfcuk, CPO shareholder It was a rare opportunity for the listeners to the Chelsea FanCast to quiz those who are deeply involved with and passionate about Chelsea, the CPO and related issues.  What a Season! The Chelsea Football FanCast #209 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

The second part of the Chelsea FanCast End of Season review show has Chidge and the FanCast crew plus many special guests having a look back over arguably Chelsea’s greatest ever season. Well it’s been over 5 weeks since we did our last show, and a lot has happened since then – England have lost on penalties in the quarter finals of the European Championships; the England cricket team are still spanking the Aussies; Becks won’t get his Olympic swansong and the Chelsea FanCast has been nominated for another award. But, one thing hasn’t changed – we are all still Champions of Europe! So back by popular demand, we’re here to do the End of Season review show. And as we have just witnessed possibly the best ever Chelsea season it promises to be a very very special show. Chidge is joined by all the podcasters from the season including ChelTel; Celery Terrorist; Ross; Dazza; Pablo; Lauren; Stuu and the return of Dr Mart, as well as special guests Gate 17’s Marco Worrall; Tim Rolls and former player – Paul ‘Canners’ Cannoville – to look back over arguably Chelsea’s greatest ever season! We also have a look ahead to Chelsea’s summer tour to the US of A, and have an interview with Beth Wild from Chelsea in America to tell us what to look forward to in the USA (well, the best pubs to check out!). The Chelsea Football FanCast: What a season

We are the Champions…of Europe! The Chelsea Football FanCast #207 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Finally after a week of rehab, Chidge and the Chelsea FanCast crew return for the victorious Champions of Europe post Munich Munich podcast! With their view of the final, the trip to Munich and a tribute to Didier Drogba. It’s been emotional! Who the cfcuk is FC Chelsea they said? Our Stadium. Our Town. Our Cup they said? But…we did it…after years of pain we finally brought back the cup with the Big Ears and we can all call ourselves Champions of Europe. It has to be the greatest weekend in our lives as Chelsea supporters and we hope that the feeling lasts for a long long time. As some of you may have noticed, it’s also been a long time since we last did a show, but a combination of too much shouting causing Chidge to lose his voice, and the majority of the Chelsea FanCast crew diverting to every pub from Munich to Calais means that this is the first chance we’ve had to get together to discuss the victory in Munich Munich!! Let’s hope the wait is worth it! We discuss all the ins and outs of the momentous Champions League final as well as giving out the Match Awards - the ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments. ChelTel, Dazza, Lauren and Ross regale us with tales of their trip to Munich and back, and what happened when Chidge joined up with them for the day (spent mainly in the Augustiner Keller Biergarten!!), it’s not for the feint hearted! We also sing a medley of European Champion terrace songs in “Shall We Sing A Song For You”, and we’ll be reading the best of your posts from Facebook and Twitter in “You’re on CFFC” and we have a special Chelsea FanCast tribute to Didier Drogba The Chelsea Football FanCast: We won in Munich Munich!!

Munich or Bust! The Chelsea Football FanCast #206 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Chidge is joined by Dazza, The Celery Terrorist and Ross for the final countdown to Munich Munich with special guest Paul Baker, writer of England and Chelsea songs! So Chelsea’s disappointing premier league season fizzled out on a sunny Sunday afternoon yesterday with a stroll against already relegated Blackburn. Lukaku and Sam Hutchinson got a game, JT scored, Drogba got to wave goodbye and even Torres got to run around for a bit in our 2-1 win that leaves us in 6th position – our worst league position since Mr A took control. Bruce Buck is not happy, but who really cares, after all we’re going to Munich Munich!! We discuss the Blackburn and hung-over match against Liverpool and award some ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments, as always. The usual suspects are joined by Paul Baker who as well as being a massive Chelsea fan, has also penned some excellent England songs such as “Stand Up For England” and “Cabanga” including a new one for the upcoming Euros – “Sing 4 England” with Chris Kamara. To carry on the musical theme, we’ve got another terrace classic in “Shall We Sing a Song for You!” and the best posts from the week in “You’re on CFFC”. All this plus a preview of potentially the greatest game in Chelsea’s history; a look back at the Yoof Cup win; and Chelsea’s Player of the Year We’ll also be revealing who won last week’s vote for our second striker in the Chelsea FanCast All Time Best XI, and who the final XI are. And last but by no means least we’ll be revealing where we came in the EPL Talk awards and announcing another chance for you to vote for us in the Football Bloggin Awards (http://www.footballbloggingawards.co.uk/) and an interview with their main man. Blimey, if that isn’t enough to keep you going until we get to Munich Munich then I don’t know what is!!! The Chelsea Football FanCast: Munich or Bust!

Making History! The Chelsea Football FanCast #205 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

A very happy but hung-over Chelsea FanCast crew convene the day after the FA Cup final to relive the best moments from a historic day, most definitely fuelled by Guinness and powered by Celery!! Chelsea wins 4 FA Cups in 6 years; John Terry 4 FA Cup wins as Captain; Petr Cech 4 FA Cup wins as a Goalkeeper; Didier Drogba 4 goals in 4 FA Cup finals; Ashley Cole 7 FA Cup winners’ medals. That’s Chelsea making history!! What a great day it was on Saturday as Chelsea lifted the FA Cup for the 7th time in our history – that puts us 4th in the list of all time FA cup winners. If you were following Chelsea over land and sea between 1973 and 1993 you would never have believed we’d see the day!!! We discuss yet another great day out which started in the Victoria Pub, then Wembley and finished in the Blackbird pub, and award some well-deserved ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments, as we always do! We’ve got a proper old Chelsea FA Cup winning terrace classic in “Shall We Sing a Song for You!” and we’ll be looking back fondly on a player from the past in “DLBIA” – a man who played in another great FA Cup victory over the Scousers; and we read out the best posts from the week in “You’re on CFFC”. We also vote for our second striker in the Chelsea FanCast All Time Best XI, and announce who won last week’s vote for our first striker. The Chelsea Football FanCast: Making History!  We're going to Germany, you're going to Barnsley! The Chelsea Football FanCast #204 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Stamford Chidge and the FanCast crew bask in the warm glow of Chelsea reaching the Champions League Final against the odds, slapping QPRhahaha 6-1 and Fernando Torres scoring his first hat-trick for the club. Well against all the odds, this week was even better than last one as Chelsea knocked out their Champions League nemesis – that’s right, UEFA, oh and Barcelona of course in probably one of the best performances by an English side in Europe…ever!! Chidge suffered from a serious case of Mr Grumpy pants for most of the match, but thankfully ChelTel, Dazza and Lauren and several pints of Guinness were there to get him through a ridiculously nerve wracking match. And if that wasn’t enough, we gave the irksome oiks from down the road a proper slapping in a 6-1 thumping. Oi QPR ‘cfcuk’ off to the Championship and make sure you don’t come back!! Oh, and lest we forget – Fernando Torres scored the winner against Barcelona and a hat-trick against QPRhahahahah – what a week indeed! We discuss both the Barcelona and QPR games on the show and award some well-deserved ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments. We’ve got another terrace classic in “Shall We Sing a Song for You!” and the best posts from the week in “You’re on CFFC”. We also vote for our first striker in the Chelsea FanCast All Time Best XI, and announce who won last week’s vote for our playmaker.  The Case for the Defence! The Chelsea Football FanCast #203 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Stamford Chidge, ChelTel and the boys convene to look back on a huge week for the Chels as we mounted two massive rearguard actions against Barcelona and Arsenal. The Chelsea FanCast crew looks back on the week where we saw the best defensive rearguard since Dunkirk as Chelsea miraculously held out against the best team in the world, and came away with a 1-0 victory. And then to round off a great week, Chelsea’s ‘B’ team held out for a 0-0 by sticking a cork up the Arse. As always we discuss both the Barcelona and Arsenal games on the show and award some well-deserved ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments. We also have a special guest appearance from ‘Our friends in the North’, the only Mancs left in the FA Cup and our very own lucky charms Tony “1 Leg” Curran and Johnny Rhino. They tell us what it’s been like for them following Chelsea in the FA Cup since QPR, and all about their blog 1 Leg on The Cup (http://1legonthecup.com/). We’ve got a couple of new songs by way of a change in “Shall We Sing a Song for You!” and we look back fondly on a player from the past in “DLBIA”; and read out the best posts from the week in “You’re on CFFC”. We also vote for our playmaker in the Chelsea FanCast All Time Best XI, and announce who won last week’s vote for our wide player. And we’ve got another great competition in association with 188Bet.  Mashed Spuds! The Chelsea Football FanCast #202 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Chidge is joined by a very hungover FanCast crew as the post-match celebrations in thrashing Sp*rs took their toll! Nevertheless, the boys and Beth from Chelsea in America relive the best moments of one of their greatest ever Wembley days out! 1, 2, 1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5-1!!! What a bloody day. We’ve seen many Chelsea wins at Wembley in our time but nothing quite like that. Never in our wildest dreams would we have believed that we would witness the utter humiliation and demolition of our bitterest rivals like that in an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley. And to think that there were quite a few nerves in the Victoria pub beforehand! Well done Chelsea you did us proud! All in all an afternoon of delight, just like the Celery Terrorist likes it! Now, bring on Barcelona, Arsenal, QPHahaha…and the Scousers We discuss the destruction of Sp*rs in the show and award some well-deserved ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments, as always. We’ve got another terrace classic in “Shall We Sing A Song For You!”; and we look back fondly on a player from the past in “DLBIA”; and read the best posts from the week in “You’re on CFFC”. We’ll also be voting for our wide player in the Chelsea FanCast All Time Best XI, and announcing who won last week’s vote for our box to box midfielder.  The Chelsea 3 Step! The Chelsea Football FanCast #201 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Dr Mart is back in the house as he joins Chidge and the usual suspects, plus Beth from Chelsea in America, to discuss the Benfica, Wigan and Fulham games. What a week! Squeaky bum time last Wednesday against Benfica, rescued by none other than ‘Tufty’ Meireles to ensure our progress to the semi-final of the Champions League; the ‘Great Escape’ against Wigan to keep us in the hunt for 4th in the Premier League, and then the damp squib on Monday night at Craven Cottage in the draw against the small club in Putney which dampened more than our spirits. Definitely a case of two steps forward and one step back or as we like to call it, the Chelsea 3 step! We discuss the Benfica, Wigan and Fulham matches in the show and give out this week’s Match Awards - the ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments, as always. We’ve got another terrace classic in “Shall We Sing A Song For You!”; and we look back fondly on a player from the past in “DLBIA”; and read the best posts from the week in “You’re on CFFC”. We also vote for our box to box midfield player in the Chelsea FanCast All Time Best XI, and announce who won last week’s vote for our defensive midfielder.
