Our last episode of what has been a damn tumultuous year for the leaders of the APOSSE. Jack and D.j.m. talk about the anime they HAVE been watching, and discuss a newfound appreciation for dubs when you can’t sit down. The EVO Japan tournament in January’s lineup has been announced, and D.j.m. found a few ommissions to be rather puzzling. All this, and Jack’s take on tumblr taking on adult content, which apparently was a thing.

Old properties are the new properties! Cowboy Bebop live-action adapation, Fruits Basket, and of course Neon Genesis Evangelion (an APOSS “favorite”) will be on Netflix. Also, celebrating Goku in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Plus, Jack & Djm talk Detective Pikachu. Are we in on it?

The new Gundam NT trailer has David excited, but the lack of word on a theatrical release has him jealous.  Jack is in the mood for some scary horror anime in the spirit of Halloween. Jason has a quick take on My Hero Academia: Two Heroes. Later, we all have shows on Netflix, Hulu and Crunchyroll that we’re all watching. Yes, even David. Lots of news to cover on the newest Anime Podcast of Some Sort. We actually liked a whole lot from E3 2018, but there was only one thing that Jack & David weren’t entirely sold on, which is obviously in the title. Also, Pop Team Epic is premiering on Toonami. We talk about why that works, and why it’s good. All this, and Teekyu the anime Jack watched for laughs, and Rose of Versailles the anime David watched to impress a girl. Shout-out to Constant Cosplay for fostering the conversation on the play.

APOSS has begun convention season with a bang! Jack attended FanimeCon 2018, and tells of cosplay stories, and video games. D.j.m. attended both Anime Central and ColossalCon and partied EXTRA hard, and discovered that he may be superhuman. BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle has hit the public, and Djm has a quick review of the ArcSys multi-franchise fighting giant. All this, and Jack finally has a “old man moment” as he celebrates the 10th anniversary of Soul Eater. And actual anime was watched, mostly thanks to others reminding us that this is an anime podcast.  For the Deej, a slice-of-life called Yostuiro Biyori. And Jack watched The Disastrous Life of Seiki K.
