EP 054: Jonathan Levi – Learn How To Get Super Powers From A World Class Memory Expert  | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:02:03

Learn How To Get Super Powers From A World Class Memory Expert. Jonathan Levi ~ Super Human, Super Powers, Memory Export, SuperLearner~Are you born with these skills? or do you develop them! How to get super powers anyways?   How about being an entrepreneur? Do you have to work harder and longer than anyone else? or are their 'hacks' for becoming one of the greats in your lifetime?  Is there someone you emulate and want to be just like? and have you wondered how they got there?   Can you change YOUR life and become all that you want, without huge sacrifices? or is it possible?   Have you ever wondered if you could become a better boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse?  what about a better parent or is it all in the genes we were dealt?   Would you like the skill to get up on stage fearless? write a book? learn how to code? be a mathematician?  or do these ideas scare you enough to not even give them a try?  Does the thought go through your mind, 'these skills must be for the brave, the fearless, the brainiacs of our time.  I couldn't possibly achieve all that's out there'.     How to Get Super Powers Jonathan Levi and Mikkel Thorup talk about all of this.  They talk about how to get super human powers and becoming a SuperLearner and that we can all achieve what we most desire.  And yes, there is work involved, this is not about a mantra that says, 'I have no fear, I have no fear'.  This is about attaining the secret skills that we don't learn in school, that someone like Jonathan Levi and his SuperLearner course can teach you.   Jonathan Levi coined: The intellectual Pigmalian Effect- how others can influence someone's ability.  If they believe you are highly intelligent and can get the work done, then you most likely will.  The Intellectual Golem Effect - The same effect if they believe you cannot do the job, you won't. Phrases like: * I'm such a clutz * I'm so bad at math * I never remember names So the question is: how do people break this pattern, what are the steps to becoming a SuperLearner?     SuperLearner Years ago if you wanted to become an Entrepreneur it was hard.  The information wasn't readily accessible.  You had to go to the bookstore and hope that someone had written a book on the subject you wanted to learn and you had to trust that they knew what they were talking about.   Today, information is at our fingertips.  So much information in fact that if you have the skills that Jonathan Levi teaches, you can become a SuperLearner, a memory expert and super human in no time.  In this episode, all is revealed.  Are these skills important to becoming an entrepreneur? you bet they are!     Memory Expert What does a memory expert look like?  What is it that you want to accomplish?  When you go to a dinner party do you want to remember guests names? what do they do for a living? become friends with them?  Jonathan Levi has a system, a course that he is willing to share with our readers.  It can be found at www.JLE.VI/5   Jonathan Levi was kind enough to give us this free gift.  It is a treasure that you should all take advantage of, really.  5 days can change the course of your entrepreneurial life!   Jonathan Levi shared one of his favourite quotes with us, from Robert Hyman about specialization: 'A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, con a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall,

EP 051: Mike Cobb – International Real Estate Guru Breaks Down Investments In Belize And Nicaragua | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:19:12

International Real Estate Guru Breaks Down Investments In Belize And Nicaragua. Mike Cobb is the Co-Founder of ECI Development, that does International Real Estate Developments in Central America and the Caribbean with a lot of the focus these days being investments in Belize and investment in Nicaragua. Mike and his family lived as Expats in Managua, Nicaragua for 14 years before returning to the States.  They went there for business and stayed there by choice.   International Real Estate Mike Cobb is extremely passionate about what opportunities the country has for Expat Entrepreneurs and International Real Estate!  Have you ever wondered how someone from the USA could end up living and working in Central America?  What would the draw be and why would you stay?  This is the episode to listen to if Central America is where you've contemplated investing, retiring or a little of both.   When Mike Cobb starting building communities in Central America, they believed that their market would be for investors to buy and to rent out as vacation homes.  This was true until the baby boomers decided they could have it both ways.  They could buy International Real Estate, rent out 6 months of the year and pay down their mortgage.   Then as 'snow birds' spend the winter months in a fabulous community in a country that offers a high standard of living with a low cost of living.   Time Machine & Path of Progress Mikk Cobb, what does that mean?  Time Machine & Path of Progress?  If you could go back 20 years and see how the path of progress was, you'd be rich.  I'm sure many of you have dreamt about the 'what if's' If I only knew what the economy would be like.  You still have time with an investment in Belize or an investment in Nicaragua.   Investment in Belize Let's talk about investments in Belize and the time machine & path of Progress.  In Belize, you're likely going back in time about 5-10 years.  If you're talking about Nicaragua, it's more like 20 years.  It truly is the best time to make an investment in Belize.   Are you interested in an investment in Belize?  Mike Cobb discusses what is available, what life is like in Belize and what you can expect from your investment in Belize.   Are you an early baby boomer? Do you find yourself wondering if you've saved enough money to have the life you're accustomed to in the US or Canada?  If not, again, this is the episode that is so important to give a listen to.   Offshore Banking in Belize Are you an American or Canadian entrepreneur?  with a viable business and paying high taxes? Let's talk about offshore banking in Belize.   Life in Belize is warm and sunny most of the year. Crime is low, medical care is fantastic, in fact, they welcome medical tourism.  Therefore, the real question is 'why would you stay in your home country when you can set up offshore banking in Belize and pay next to nothing in taxes and have a lower cost of living and a higher quality of life'.  I know that sounds like a paradox, but it's true.   DISCOVER HOW YOU CAN LEGALLY ELIMINATE YOUR TAX BILL THIS WEEK - ASK FOR A COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION HERE   Investment in Nicaragua Talking about an investment in Nicaragua, Mike Cobb and his partner have been at this a long time and have built their company ECI from the ground up.  They know what they are talking about and are an integral part of helping to develop a country so that Americans & Canadians have a ...

EP 049: Gregor Gregersen – Electric Vehicle Metals Held In Singaporean Vault – Next Big Commodity To Boom  | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:02:18

Electric Vehicle Metals Held In Singaporean Vault - Next Big Commodity To Boom. Gregor Gregersen is the CEO and founder of Silver Bullion Pte Ltd. A gold bullion and silver bullion Singapore dealer as well as The Safe House. A Singaporean Vault company for many types of precious metals; including electric vehicle metals.   Gregor Gregersen has lived as an Expat for nearly 38 years, and he actually gave up his German passport to become a Singaporean citizen. In this interview, we talk about why Gregor chose this country to build his vault for gold bullion and silver bullion Singapore and how this led to electric vehicle metals.   What are "Electric Vehicle Metals"? The Electric Vehicle Metals I am referring to are the metals that go into the batteries that power electric cars. These are precious metals and bullion of high grade.  They are used in the manufacturing process and compose the bulk of the batteries themselves.   Why Should we care about Electric Vehicle Metals and Batteries? Electric vehicle batteries are becoming too cheap to ignore. In the past 4 years, production costs for EV batteries have fallen by over 70%, thanks to investments from major automakers. Elon Musk thinks that these costs will fall a further 20% by 2020. That would make these batteries cheaper to produce than internal combustion engines.   Special Report on Electric Vehicle Metals After recording the interview with Gregor Gregorson I got massively interested in the topic of electric vehicle metals as an investment.   I took everything I learned from Gregor plus a couple hundred hours of research and I compiled it down into a special report. In this special report, I break down why electric vehicle metals is a space you should really be paying attention to, what the opportunities are, what the pitfalls are and most importantly how you can get involved. I think you will see that the world is changing, fortunes are being made and by the time you hear about it on mainstream media it will be too late and you will have missed your chance.   In my daily life, I travel the world searching for unique opportunities, I put an intense amount of due diligence in my research and when I find something really extraordinary I share it with my subscribers.   This is one of those times...   I was thinking about charging for this special report on electric vehicle metals…. Maybe $97 or $197 or maybe it will be part of a paid subscription newsletter I am working on, I have not decided yet...   In the meantime I don't want to delay, this is timely information and I want to get this special report into your hands as fast as possible… therefore I will let you have a copy of it for free for being a loyal listener of this podcast.   If you really want to dig into electric vehicle metals as an investment; to learn about the opportunities, how to protect your investment and what the exact steps are to get started in the most profitable way possible you can download your copy of the report for free by clicking HERE.   What Does Gregor Gregersen Store in his Singaporean Vault Silver Bullion Singapore holds all types of precious metals including gold bullion, silver bullion, platinum bullion. They buy, sell and test all types of bullion. And of course, as we talk about in this interview electric vehicle metals.   Conversations on Commodities With Gregor Gregersen

EP 048: Rico Ngoma – How To Source Products In China For Drop Shipping and FBA From An Expat Who Actually Lives There | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:54

How To Source Products In China For Drop Shipping and FBA From An Expat Who Actually Lives There. Rico Ngoma grew up in Canada and at a very young age realized being an expat entrepreneur was in his blood.  After a trip to China and seeing the difficulty with finding how to source products in China for drop shipping and how to do business in China, Rico realized that he could assist other entrepreneurs on how to find a good manufacturer in China.     Rico Ngoma talks to us about his life since 2014 living and working in Guangzhou, China.  With 24 Million people and thousands of factories, most would find it almost impossible to navigate, especially with the language barrier.  China is not like most countries where English is spoken in most parts of the country.  To survive in China, one must learn even the basics of Mandarin just to survive.  Rico found a small expat entrepreneur community in Guangzhou, which has helped him to feel more at home.   Source Find Asia is Rico's company.  He explains to Mikkel how they are problem solvers for those that want to learn: * How to do business in China * How to source products in China for drop shipping * And how to find a good manufacturer in China.       Rico Explains How to do Business in China Rico Ngoma and Mikkel Thorup chat about how to do business in China and the concept that China is a great source for drop shipping, but where do you start?  who do you trust?  These questions and more, from someone that knows how to source products in China for drop shipping.   Rico Ngoma tells us the difference between a Trading Company and a Factory.  Rico recounts some pretty funny stories about when they first started Source Find Asia.  He claims that you must be a detective to really understand how the buying works in China.     How to Find a Good Manufacturer in China Rico Ngoma chats about how to find a good manufacturer in China and how to source products in China for drop shipping and all the pitfalls that can happen if you're not aware of the many different areas that need to be covered when you want to learn how to source products in China for drop shipping.     Rico Ngoma's company: Source Find Asia * Manufacturing Consultants * Introduction to Factories * Interpreting the language * Peace of Mind for Clients * and more!!   If becoming an expat entrepreneur is in your blood, or you want to learn how to do business in China, or how to source products in China for drop shipping listen to Ep 029: Jim Cockrum - where Jim talks about how his company does $25 Million in Sales on Amazon.     How to Reach Rico Ngoma www.SourceFindAsia.com Made in China Podcast rico@sourcefindasia.com     FINAL THOUGHTS Super interesting episode with Rico Ngoma. I previously understood some of the intricacies of drop shipping, but Rico really helped me to realize that what is the most important part of the process is having a company that speaks your language, that you can trust to get the job done, and having someone in your corner!   I hope you get as much value from this interview with Rico as I did… and if you would like to stay up to date with all new content that comes out at The Expat Money Show make sure you sign up below f...

EP 047: Jeff Haden – The First Rule Of Ghostwriting Is: You Do Not Talk About Ghostwriting… | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:01:31

The First Rule Of Ghostwriting Is: You Do Not Talk About Ghostwriting... Jeff Haden author of The Motivation Myth spent over 20 years in manufacturing when he realized he really didn't love what he was doing.  Over the next few years, he learned different skills to create a job for himself in the ghostwriting arena.  Some may ask? What is ghostwriting? Why do people hire a ghostwriter? and where do you find a ghostwriter?   What is Ghostwriting? Ghostwriting is when someone is hired to write literary or journalistic works, speeches, or other texts that are officially credited to another person as the author.  Celebrities, executives, and political leaders often hire ghostwriters to draft or edit their autobiographies, memoirs, or a book they have an idea for.   Why Do People Hire A Ghostwriter? In this interview with Jeff Haden, he explains it this way:  You get an offer to write a weekly column on a certain subject, but you either don't have the time nor the talent, so you hire someone to write for you, and they sign your name to the work.  Often someone is in a field with expertise that everyone wants to hear about.  The problem is that you are a terrible writer, but a fantastic expert.  You hire a ghostwriter to clean up and polish your idea.   Where Do You Find A Ghostwriter? Jeff Haden and Mikkel Thorup talk opening about where do you find a ghostwriter?  It's actually quite simple.  Use sites like UpWork, Freelancer and BloggingPro, to name just a few. One of the key takeaways from Jeff Haden was to hire someone that has written before, been paid for it, and does it daily.  Jeff has written 70 books as a ghostwriter...I'd say...hire Jeff Haden if you want a book that is professionally written.   The Motivation Myth Jeff Haden's book, The Motivation Myth, overturns the beloved (but false) idea that motivation leads to success, instead, small successes lead to constant motivation - and let you achieve your biggest goals while also having more fun. In short, motivation isn’t something you get — motivation is something you create. Listen as Jeff and Mikkel go through several concepts in the book, The Motivation Myth. Jeff breaks down some of his controversial ideas and helps us to understand that what's been drilled into us since we first started in the workforce are actually false.   What is a Serial Achiever Jeff Haden and Mikkel Thorup talk about how we CAN do more than 1 thing in life, and that we LOVE doing more than 1 thing.  We spend our early adulthood pursuing a career that we believe we will stay at for the rest of our lives. After 15 years we decide to move on to something different.  We go back to school, we learn everything that is required and then we pursue that career.  That may happen several times in our life, and that's perfectly fine.  In fact, in this Interview with Jeff Haden, he encourages people to add the word 'AND' to your elevator pitch. You don't have to be just one thing;  you can be several;  like a photographer AND a writer. That's part of life that gives us character and depth.   Check out this podcast to hear about: * What's the difference between a Coach and a Pro * How to write a book in 1.5 weeks * Learning to persevere and work hard is a SKILL! * Leadership skills * Coping Skills * And so much more!   In Ep 042: Matt Javit left his executive job to travel the world.  You can be any age when you realize you want something different.  Listen in to hear from Matt Javit.

KYC Chain A New Blockchain Technology From The Founder Of Flag Theory. Edmund John From Flag Theory has embarked on a new platform and in this episode, Mikkel Thorup delves deep into what is KYC & AML and how KYC Chain is using blockchain technology to solve problems they face. We then give an in-depth review of Flag Theory and explain what is Flag Theory.   What is Flag Theory - A Review of Flag Theory Some of you may be asking 'what is Flag Theory'? Here is a review of Flag Theory.  It was created about 50 years ago and it started with 5 flags: * Passport * Residency * Company (Check Out Our Services On Offshore Company Formation) * Bank Account * Physical Assets Edmund John from Flag Theory has added 2 more: * Digital Security * Digital Assets (Additional Episodes With Cryptocurrency Founders) Listen in to the episode now as we review Flag Theory and how all 7 Flags work to give you more control over your life.   What is KYC & AML Edmund John From Flag Theory explains KYC: Know Your Customer & AML: Anti Money Laundering. For decades there has been an issue with collecting personal data and how it is stored, and most important: can it be hacked. Often times as Expats we need KYC & AML for a host of different reasons, including; sending funds abroad, buying real estate or investments and getting residency or second citizenship in a new country. If a person with malicious intent intercepts this KYC & AML pack and it contains your passport copy, utility bills, birth record, SIN or Personal Identity Number, bank account details and a host of other things they really can take control of your life...   How KYC Chain Is Using Blockchain Technology To Solve Problems Edmund John from Flag Theory talks about Selfkey, A Self-Sovereign Identity system that empowers individuals to find more Freedom and Privacy through the full ownership of their digital identity. And Edmund John from Flag Theory founded KYC Chain a blockchain based technology that is solving problems (explained above) by securing your sensitive data, removing redundancies making for a more user-friendly and secure environment. To learn more, you'll want to listen to the entire episode!   Covered in this episode with Edmund John from Flag Theory: * Visa-Free Travel * Strong passports * Cryptocurrency * Review of Flag Theory * Expat Communities   Where to reach Edmund John from Flag Theory www.flagtheory.com www.selfkey.org   Final Thoughts Super interesting conversation with Edmund John from Flag Theory.  We broke down, what is Flag Theory? We then had a review of Flag Theory and really talked about each flag specifically. But we had to start at the beginning and talked about what is KYC & AML, topics that are a must for those that are concerned about how your own country is dealing with their economy.   I hope you get as much value from this interview with Edmund John from Flag Theory as I did… and if you would like to stay up to date with all new content that comes out at The Expat Money Show make sure you sign up below for our newsletter; EMS Pulse - My behind the scene daily correspondence where I give you all the intel as I travel the world building my business,

James Guzman - How To Start A Vacation Rental Business Using Airbnb As An Expat In Mexico James Guzman is an American Expat living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.  He is an expert on how to start a vacation rental business, and specifically, how to start an Airbnb in Mexico and Airbnb as an Expat.   James Guzman and Mikkel Thorup talk about short-term rentals when it comes to how to start an Airbnb in Mexico.   Are short-term rentals more beneficial than long term?  Are the risks different? If you've ever considered how to start a vacation rental business, then this is the episode for you.   How to Start a Vacation Rental Business We have all heard about Airbnb and how it has revolutionized the lodging and accommodation world of travel, and you probably know someone that puts their home on this site when they are away on vacation to maybe recoup some of their expenses while they are away. However, have you ever considered renting properties and then turning around and advertising on Airbnb?  Did you know that you don't have to own the property?  As long as the landlord is aware of what your plan looks like, there is no reason for them to say no.  This and many other ideas are discussed in this fun episode on how to start a vacation rental business. As mentioned, Airbnb has changed the face of short-term rentals forever.  How did they get so big? so quickly? and you must be asking yourself, what kind of software do they use and can I use it too?  Listen in as James Guzman explains the software they use for efficiency and speed.   Starting a Business in Mexico as an Expat and How to Start an Airbnb in Mexico We also talk about the demographics of his short-term rentals and how to start an Airbnb in Mexico.  Because James Guzman lives in Mexico, of course, it is much simpler, as he can keep an eye on his business, but you can start an Airbnb anywhere.  The concepts are the same all across the globe.  Here are a few ideas discussed: * Platforms and Software * Access to the property/keys * How to earn more income from your properties * What to do during slow seasons * What does a 'Full Vacation' look like * Challenges of owning your own business   What To Consider When you Start a Vacation Rental Business * Is your city safe? Clean? * What about the culture? the food? * Why do people come to your city? * What kind of return can I expect? * Vacancy rates? * All this and more is discussed!   James Guzman on Education Most of our listeners are aware of our passion here on the Expat Money Show regarding the current state of the education system in North America and the trend towards homeschooling and world schooling.  James Guzman and Mikkel Thorup discuss this hot topic.  Many of our past guests discuss this same topic, listen in to Ep 37: Zak Slayback or to Ep 43: Sam McRoberts who currently owns and operates his business as an expat and world schools his son.   We all know how much Mikkel loves to talk about travel and the experiences learned from each country.  Today's episode was no different.  Mikkel and James Guzman chat in detail about Medellin & the country of Colombia.  Mikkel spent quite a bit of time there when he first started his travels and speaks kindly about the people, the food and the culture.  James Guzman would agree!   Best Way to Reach James Guzman

Discover How To Internationalize Your Life So You Can Protect Your Wealth And Protect Your Family Sam McRoberts, with family in tow, left behind his home country of USA to travel the world and unschool his 7-year-old son.   We talk in depth about how to internationalize your life,  how to protect your wealth and most importantly, how to protect your family.   About Sam McRoberts Sam McRoberts is the successful CEO of VUDU Marketing, where he consults with medium to large size companies and influencers on SEO.  They audit websites, figuring out what's right and wrong, what needs to be fixed to increase organic traffic and helping people put together strategies so they know what to do to dominate their space. As Sam McRoberts and his family travel the world, the most important thing he requires is a good internet connection, and from there, he can run his company.  VUDU Marketing is his bread & butter, but that's not the only company Sam operates. Sam realized in the beginning; when he was trying to learn SEO; that no one taught it, so that became his mission, to teach other people how to get the job done easily.  Sam walks us through what that looks like and how SEO works. Screw the Zoo, Sam McRoberts book is another way he has helped to monetize his adventurous travel.  Listen as everything is woven together to make life as an expat easier and for more fun!   How To Internationalize Your Life We then delve into how to internationalize your life.  Besides education, how to internationalize your life is the biggest topic we discuss here on our podcast.  More and more people are compelled to learn how this is done, and how easy it can be if you follow some simple rules and talk to people that know what needs to be done before you leave your home country. We've realized that to pay big corporate taxes is just not necessary anymore.   If you are traveling the world, why do you have to pay for the roads to be fixed and for schools in a neighbourhood that you no longer live in?   How To Protect Your Wealth Once you've learned how to internationalize your life, it's time to learn how to protect your wealth.  You're making big bucks so you need to protect your wealth.  We chat quite a bit about this topic, because if you live in the USA or Canada, the taxes are outrageous and what's left can be a lot less than if you know how to internationalize your life and then protect your family.   How To Protect Your Family Sam McRoberts and Mikkel Thorup both love their family.  Family first!  Do you know how to protect your family?  Are you interested in learning how to protect your family, and how to internationalize your life, then this episode is a must listen to.   What is Unschooling Have you been wondering what is unschooling?  Sam McRoberts gives his definition of homeschooling compared to unschooling and it's right on the money.  Mikkel and Sam spend at least 1/3 of the episode delving into education, what's wrong with our current system and answering the question, what is unschooling? In Ep 029: Jim Cockrum talks about what is unschooling and how happy his children are because they chose this type of education.   What Else Will You Learn From This Episode * What is the Schengen Area and why is it important to understand * Why travelling the world is so important for our survival * Flag Theory and what is Sam attempting to implement in his life
