EP 006: Tony Medina – Understanding Economies of Scale Through A Real Life Practical Example | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 52:20

Understanding Economies of Scale Through A Real Life Practical Example.   Economies of Scale When I used to read random textbooks on economics a few years ago, economies of scale was not a topic I paid much attention to... In this interview with Tony Medina, we talk in-depth about why economies of scale are so important when looking at a business model and why your first instinct may be completely wrong...   Tony Medina is the CEO of Seoul Guide Medical, a private company that manages top calibre plastic surgery hospitals in Seoul Korea as well as works with one of the best Dental Surgeons on the planet, Dr Chulmin Bae from Oaks Dental Clinic in Gangnam.   In this Episode of The Expat Money Show, we discuss Tony's experiences as an Expat Entrepreneur for the last 10 plus years living in Seoul Korea. He shares a hilarious (and also scary) story of travelling to meet a previous high-level client in Kazakstan.   Wikipedia Explains Economies of Scale as: "In microeconomics, economies of scale are the cost advantages that enterprises obtain due to their scale of operation (typically measured by amount of output produced), with cost per unit of output decreasing with increasing scale. Economies of scale apply to a variety of organizational and business situations and at various levels, such as a business or manufacturing unit, plant or an entire enterprise." But that does not give us a very good understanding as Expats trying to create your own businesses or to increase our income. Tony Medina uses the example of why a country like Korea can move so much further ahead then somewhere like the USA in something like Cosmetic Surgery. Listen to the full Episode (above) to hear the full story.   You can learn more about Tony Medina and his company at: Website: www.SeoulGuideMedical.com IG: seoulguidemedical   In this episode we discuss: * Why you should not get arrested in Kazakhstan * Understand economies of scale * How to solve a problem * The number one skill every entrepreneur should focus on     Books we discuss: A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle The Gate to Women's Country by Sheri S. Tepper Coaches and Mentors: Grant Cardone   Random Stuff from the Interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-sfG8BV8wU   Final Thoughts: This interview was really enjoyable for me. Tony Medina has been one of my closest friends for many years and we have travelled all over the planet together (not to mention the 60 some-odd times I have gone to Korea to visit him for work) and I can attest first hand to the success Tony has created for himself in a country completely different from where we grew up in and in a language that is not the easiest to learn... I really want you to understand that you too can create massive success in your life and the best way I know how to do that is for you to Subscribe Here and get my free cheatsheet I created just for you. I believe that working with influencers is another strategy that all businesses should be looking towards, it's important to not count on only one stream of traffic to your business and influencer marketing is another way you can add to your pipeline, but as mentioned make sure your influencer contracts are clearly laid out so both parties are protected and is clear what is to be expected.

EP 003: Tyron Giuliani – LinkedIn Lead Generation. The Value Vomit. The Importance Of Coaching | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:02:44

LinkedIn Lead Generation. The Value Vomit. The Importance of Coaching. Tyron Giuliani is an Australian Expat living in Japan for the last 19 years, he has built two businesses from scratch that do in excess of 7 figures a year. He is also a coach matching C-Suite Executives with fortune 500 companies and is an expert at Linkedin lead generation.   You can find Tyron on LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/linkedcoaching Or on his private Facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/LinkedInB2BMastery     In this episode we discuss: * LinkedIn Lead Generation * The value vomit * 3 things you can do today to clean up your Linkedin profile * The importance of coaching * How to focus your efforts towards a revenue event * Why you should only work with cool people   * Books we discuss: Influence: Science and Practice by Robert Cialdini Pre-Suasion: A Revolutionary Way to Influence and Persuade by Robert Cialdini Pitch Anything: An Innovative Method for Presenting, Persuading, and Winning the Deal by Oren Klaff Awaken The Giant Within by Tony Robbins Websites we discuss: Clickfunnels Rescue Time Snippet from the Episode about Linkedin being purchased by Microsoft: Tyron Giuliani: Yeah. Thirty percent of the world's business people are on Linkedin. And now with Microsoft purchasing it, they are now integrating it into their ecosystem. So it's only going to increase. Mikkel Thorup: How much did they purchase it for? Tyron Giuliani: Twenty-six billion dollars. Mikkel Thorup: Twenty-six billion dollars. Wow. Tyron Giuliani: Yeah. Pretty crazy... Mikkel Thorup: So that's Microsoft's play into social media, I suppose? Tyron Giuliani: Well, you think about the data, right? They've already got a billion people using Microsoft. Now you add another five hundred million and you integrate that into your sales software. You integrate it into your Outlook. You integrate it into every part of the process. Window's itself is now integrated, when you use Windows 10. It can integrate so you can get popups of notifications of Linkedin. So they're looking at it as a massive data ecosystem. And, if you're selling dynamic ... their CRM Sales Program is Dynamics 365. So, instead of having a blank canvass, you can open up Dynamics 365 and you can pull a person in and it sucks in all their Linkedin data. When you do a sales call to these people, it's no longer cold. You've got all this information available without you doing any work. So, you know, they're smart. They've done a good job. Mikkel Thorup: And so I guess that brings into your tagline selling made social... Tyron Giuliani: Exactly! Final Thoughts: I loved learning about LinkedIn Lead Generation from Tyron. He is a true world-class expert in this field and we were very fortunate to have him on the Podcast. Make sure to drop any questions you have about the LinkedIn Lead Generation in the comments below. And if you want to do one better make sure you sign up for our Newsletter... if you do I will even send you a FREE gift :)   Always Remember,
