LOTL Radio  Welcomes  Janis Ian  & the release her  audio version of her autobiography, “Society’s Child,” The story of a lifetime, Janis Ian's autobiography spans more than half a century of art and politics. Bursting upon the scene in with the Grammy Hall of Fame song "Society's Child" during the turbulent sixties, continuing through her re-emergence with the Grammy-winning record of "At Seventeen," right up to her present-day work with artists like Willie Nelson, Society's Child tells a tale of love, loneliness, music, and hope.  

DJ Kemit is one of the most talented and popular DJ/producers in the world. He was the co-writer and co-producer of "4evermore," the Anthony David/Algebra cut that won Song of the Year last year in the SoulTracks Readers' Choice and he is an in demand collaborator for many of soul music's best artists. 

    R& B singer, songwriter and actress Terry Dexter releases her latest single, “Disappointed” on Rock Room Recordings. Terry Dexter is among the elite of the newer generation of female soul singers.  “Disappointed,” is produced by Nisan Stewart and co-written by Terry Dexter. “Disappointed,” a song most of us have experienced at least once unpleasant feelings of rejection and failure of love. Terry sings to the heart and soul of what disappointed love can cause, touching a chord that vibrates through the soul  

Kwanza Jones established her dance-pop credentials in 2011 with her Billboard charting hit, “Think Again,” (which spent 4 months on the Dance/ Club Play charts). This song signaled the Supercharged sound for Jones, who is known for her never-ending energy and non-stop curves. Born in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving Day, Kwanza exhibited a certain star quality from childhood to present -- often winning beauty and talent contests, including the Miss Baltimore pageant. Being a former track star, her competitive drive was just as strong. This might explain why Jones, who grew up in Washington, DC, finished at the top of her high school class and went on to graduate from Princeton University. The daughter of two lawyers, Kwanza foresaw a career on the business and legal side of the entertainment industry. However, a chance meeting with Quincy Jones and a performance at the world famous Apollo Theater, altered her course. Despite the lure of the Hollywood lights, Jones chose to spend time in New York City honing her songwriting skills, teaching herself guitar, attending law school and “getting some life lessons.” She credits her experience during a rigorous nine-day climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, as teaching her about the power of perseverance. Kwanza reached the top via the Western Breach -- one of the most difficult and dangerous routes which was later closed because people died from rock-fall. She says, “I could have taken an easier route but where’s the fun in that?”

LOTL Radio Welcomes, Chris Rob.  debut his new hit song " Waiting 4 you ' from his fantastic EP ' Mental Notes ' Chris Rob’s latest album, Mental Notes, shares all the facets of his effortless gifts and has garnered recognition from Soultracks.com as one of the top albums of 2010. His most noteworthy accomplishments to date include his performance with Stevie Wonder at President Obama's Pre-Inaugural Ball, being featured on Kanye West’s Grammy award-winning album Graduation, writing and producing with legendary Motown recording artist Leon Ware, as well as serving as music director for John Legend’s Get Lifted Tour, culminating in the DVD release of John Legend: Live at the House of Blues. His latest single, “Sex. Money. & Drugs” is featured on the soundtrack of Tyler Perry’s forthcoming film We the Peeples, while his most recent club banger, "Found Myself" with co-producer DJ Ian Friday, hit number one on Traksource.com dance floor charts. When Rob is not on stage or in the studio, he’s working behind the scenes as a writer and stage director for his brother, comedian/actor/musician Craig Robinson (“The Office”), as well as performing with hip hop artists Talib Kweli and Black Moon. He also has scored for several independent movies, including "Phunny Business", "For Colored Boys" and "Bittersweets."

R&B music is getting a facelift and singer-songwriter/musician, Mateo is the surgeon. Super Talented Mateo debut his hot new Single " Carry On  This is the second release from Mateo's "Suite 823" mixtape dropping in full on August 1st.  The title and material stem from solitary reflection while living in a hotel suite. "I was literally in a suite, in a hotel room. It's kinda a place where you're left to your thoughts," he tells Singersroom in a recent interview. "I was thinking about past loves, thinking about where I'm at now, thinking about what kind of songs I wanna put

.     Kourtney Heart is a vibrant young face on the R&B scene. The 18-year-old New Orleans native has a one-in-a-million voice and a star-powered personality. She’s taken influences from artists such as , Brandy, Paramore and Rhianna and developed an appeal and range that spans R&B and Pop. Her songs are honest, emotional, and heartfelt, and she gives a little piece of herself in every note that she sings. Her short stint on Jive Records left her unfazed. In 2012, Kourtney hit the ground running and began recording for her new project A Gemini’s Diary. She has now released her diary, along with a new video (Runaway), and re-launched her website.   The Endangered is Maiya Sykes, Nick Block, Frank Abraham and Gene Coye. Founded in Los Angeles in 2009, guitarist Nick Block and drummer Gene Coye, who met while attending California Institute of the Arts, enlisted Berklee College of Music graduate, bassist Frank Abraham, to establish a start-up music production house dedicated to writing songs for others. While working together the three realized that they were in need of a talented in-house vocalist and turned to singer Maiya Sykes to write lyrics and perform the trio’s compositions. Sykes, a brilliant performer who not only sings back-up for Macy Gray and fronts the house band for the uber-trendy Sayers Club in Hollywood, was an undeniable first choice. Prior to teaming up as The Endangered, Sykes had previously played with both Coye and Abraham.

Using curse words just for the hell of it is pointless, but when you want to express intensity, a swear can be the perfect exclamation mark. This is exactly how Crystal Renee punctuated her degree of love for her partner, rather just being cliche.  "I F*ckin' Love You was derived from my 'love hard' mentality. When you really love someone it is deeper than 'Ooh, the stars and the moon aligned for us to be together'", explained Crystal Renee. Crystal is recording more tracks for her projects as well as collaborating with other artists  

2x Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Timothy Bloom counts Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, Bill Withers, and Jeff Buckley among his inspirations. The son of pastors, he grew up with music surrounding him. He debuted not as a solo artist, but as a collaborative songwriter, and he got his foot in the door in a major way; the North Carolina native co-wrote a pair of songs with Smokey Robinson, "My World" and "Fallin'," both of which were included on Robinson's 2005-released My World: The Definitive Collection. In 2009, he played a major role in Quite Like Me, an independently released album by vocalist Dionyza, and he provided background vocals on Usher's Raymond V. Raymond, issued the following year. He finally broke through as a solo artist in 2011 with The Budding Rose, an EP led by the stunning ballad "'Til the End of Time," a duet with Veronika Bozeman promoted with an equally striking video. The song impacted Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop chart just before the release of Chris Brown's F.A.M.E., an album highlighted by Bloom's "All Back." Bloom's debut album was scheduled for release later in the year through Polow da Don's Zone 4 and Timbaland's Mosley Music via Interscope.

Lotl Radio Welcomes Kameelah'Meelah'Williams former lead vocalist of R&B Group 702  Their debut album, No Doubt shot to #1 on Top Heatseekers. Missy Elliott co-wrote & produced 4 songs on the album including the smash hit single "Steelo" and its remix. The album spawned the 3 hit singles: "Steelo", "All I Want" and "Get It Together". "Steelo" with altered lyrics was used as the theme song to the Nickelodeon television show Cousin Skeeter & "All I Want" was featured in the Nickelodeon movie Good Burger. 702 also performed on Nickelodeon's All That. "Get It Together" exploded by giving the group a #3 R&B single and a #10 Pop single on the Billboard charts. The album earned them a Soul Train Lady Of Soul Award in 1997. S  DEBUT HER NEW CD' EVOLVING ME' The music world needs to take notice of an underground artist who is a multi-talented singer-songwriter, composer of acapella, and arranger who goes by the name Tiffani Michelle.
