LOTL Welcomes,Jarrard Anthony debut new CD' Ready to Live ' | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:01:00

Jarrard Anthony – Ready to Live  To evolve, elevate, enrich, edify, encourage—these signifying words pepper singer/songwriter/producer and multi-instrumentalist Jarrard Anthony’s conversation whenever he describes his goals as a seeker, teacher, student, husband, father and artist. Each time the doer presses the curve of a guitar against his body or sits behind an ivory row, he is digging to unearth the stories and melodies of a shared humanity and spiritual source. Jarrard Anthony wants to connect. He wants listeners to experience the exchange of mutual energy, the transfer of love, knowledge, intimacy, and appreciation through music —the lifeblood of Anthony’s own healing brand of soul. His latest full-length project, Ready to Live, brings him closer to his goal of connection.  “Mr. Independent.” Over the next five years, Mr. Independent launched a label (JAP Music & Entertainment Group), landed distribution with Bungalo/Universal, appeared in numerous magazines (VIBE, Black Beat, Blues & Soul), and shared stages with Silk, Monica, Cam’ron, Amerie, The O’Jays, L.L. Cool J, Howard Hewitt, Lyfe Jennings, Anthony Hamilton, The Gap Band and Pieces of A Dream, among others—artists as varied in their genres and approach as Anthony was becoming in his own.

Lotl Radio Welcomes Kwanza Jones, debut new single'Time To Go | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:01:00

Kwanza Jones established her dance-pop credentials in 2011 with her Billboard charting hit, “Think Again,” (which spent 4 months on the Dance/ Club Play charts). This song signaled the Supercharged sound for Jones, who is known for her never-ending energy and non-stop curves. Born in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving Day, Kwanza exhibited a certain star quality from childhood to present -- often winning beauty and talent contests, including the Miss Baltimore pageant. Being a former track star, her competitive drive was just as strong. This might explain why Jones, who grew up in Washington, DC, finished at the top of her high school class and went on to graduate from Princeton University. The daughter of two lawyers, Kwanza foresaw a career on the business and legal side of the entertainment industry. However, a chance meeting with Quincy Jones and a performance at the world famous Apollo Theater, altered her course. Despite the lure of the Hollywood lights, Jones chose to spend time in New York City honing her songwriting skills, teaching herself guitar, attending law school and “getting some life lessons.” She credits her experience during a rigorous nine-day climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, as teaching her about the power of perseverance. Kwanza reached the top via the Western Breach -- one of the most difficult and dangerous routes which was later closed because people died from rock-fall. She says, “I could have taken an easier route but where’s the fun in that?”

Lotl-Radio Welcomes The Sensational Divine Brown | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:01:00

When Divine Brown enters a room the energy becomes electric. It’s that classic combination of attitude and altitude, for with Divine, people instantly recognize her as music royalty which she carries fearlessly having earned rather than borrowed her crown. It’s in her ability to at once invoke the empowered sexuality of Pam Grier’s seventies superwoman, Foxy Brown, while remaining immediately contemporary, exciting and fresh that drives her appeal. Fearless. Foxy. Fresh. Ladies and Gentlemen it’s time you know Divine Brown. When “The Love Chronicles” (2008) won the Juno® Award for Best R&B Album in 2009, Divine Brown had already achieved a level of success that most often eludes young girls with dreams of making it big as a singer. A Toronto native, Brown’s fearless approach to life first shows up as a steadfast commitment to her music in the face of half-hearted support from her working class Jamaican family who would most likely have preferred she pursue a safe path like Nursing rather than the mercurial business of Music. Yet, armed with the gift of a 5-octave vocal range and a love for the Soul music she soaked up listening to American radio,

On June 27th, born to the industry of music and entertainment, was an embodiment of voice, performance and creative pen…recording artist “Tyra B”. Like the Return of the Jedi: Something amazing. Tyra B is no longer (just) the mainstream, commercial artist with the multi-million dollar recording contract; the Destiny’s Child Farewell Tour to her credit; the record breaking single, “Still In Love”; Top 10 radio singles and videos…or millions of YouTube views and internet plays. But rather Tyra B is, arguably, urban music’s first ever, female RnB and mainstream recording artist who is, for all practical purposes, bypassing labels to do “something amazing”. After years of following, questioning and internal discomfort, Tyra B is embarking on a new lane, a new day…a birthday. So as a symbolic gift to you, Tyra B has released her new, long awaited single; “SEX”. Her single release is not to be outdone by the anticipation of her first official release in (5) years but rather a day where her classic RnB creativity, can and will continue to flow, i.e. “SEX”. The visual pen that caused her to be signed, simultaneously, to a publishing deal at the ripe age of (19), and to work with the likes of Pretty Boy & Bradd, J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, Selasi, Cool & Dre and the likes…continues to be filled with mental ink. Music is for the creative types and the music industry is filled with all…types. Tyra B is stepping out of the box and out of the music industry’s idea of what she should be. She is the amazing type. With mainstream acknowledgement, popularity and success conquered, Tyra B will soon be releasing a follow-up EP; “Show Me Something Amazing” #SMSA. Yes this body of work is absolutely…something amazing. But for now, the beginning to her new empire can be heard at

The Great Crystal Renee' Hot debut single' I F*ckin Love You | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

Using curse words just for the hell of it is pointless, but when you want to express intensity, a swear can be the perfect exclamation mark. This is exactly how Crystal Renee punctuated her degree of love for her partner, rather just being cliche.  "I F*ckin' Love You was derived from my 'love hard' mentality. When you really love someone it is deeper than 'Ooh, the stars and the moon aligned for us to be together'", explained Crystal Renee. Crystal is recording more tracks for her projects as well as collaborating with other artists

The son of pastors, he grew up with music surrounding him. In 2009, he played a major role in Quite Like Me, an independently released album by vocalist Dionyza, and he provided background vocals on Usher's Raymond V. Raymond, issued the following year. He finally broke through as a solo artist in 2011 with The Budding Rose, an EP led by the stunning ballad "'Til the End of Time," a duet with Veronika Bozeman promoted with an equally striking video. The song impacted Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop chart just before the release of Chris Brown's F.A.M.E., an album highlighted by Bloom's "All Back." Bloom's debut album was scheduled for release later in the year through Polow da Don's Zone 4 and Timbaland's Mosley Music via Interscope.
