Although that was going against the grain of modern day music this Bona-fied Sassy Sexy Diva never seemed to care and choose to do her. She grew up in South Florida and later moved to Atlanta Georgia where she eventually was able to gain a great deal of International Attention with her 1st Album "Soul Sessions Chapter 1". Present Day she has completed her Sophomore Album "SHE MOTIONS" In stores November 2012 ..all while she continues to travel all over the world spreading her passion for music all over the world.

LOTL RADIO WELCOMES THE LEGENDARY CYNTHIA ROBINSON OF SLY & THE FAMILY STONERock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Cynthia Robinson is back on the throne! Sly Stone considers "Cynthia one of the  best trumpet players in the world". Cynthia, along with Sly, was part of "Sly and The Stoners" in 1966. Through her years with Sly & The Family Stone, she was notable for being an early, black, female trumpet player in a major American band. In recent years, you would of found her on many stages through the US and Europe. Playing with P-Funk maestro George Clinton, Larry Graham, Prince, and Sinbads Aruba Summer  Soul Festival with fellow S&TFS members, Rose Stone, Jerry Martini, Larry Graham & Graham Central Station.  In 2006 she along with the Original Family Stone played the Grammy Awards in an All star tribute to Sly & The Family Stone.

Not only embracing Simone’s raw, heady passion, James channels the sparkling eclecticism that made the High Priestess of Soul a key influence in cultivating her own singing style. “For a long time I wasn’t sure what to do with the fact that I’ve got this gigantic voice that doesn’t quite match how I look, so I ended up trying out lots of different things to find my way,” says James. And in that ceaseless experimentation, she adds, James drew great inspiration from Simone’s unwavering artistic integrity. “Nina refused to be pigeon-holed into any one genre, and she wasn’t setting out to impress anyone,” says James. “That sort of purity and lack of showboating means so much to me as a musician.”All throughout Morgan James Live, James infuses her interpretations of Simone’s songs with a comparable purity. Whether tearing through bluesy stompers like “Trouble In Mind” and “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out” or a hushed heartbreaker like the Billie Holiday-penned “Don’t Explain,” James brings both unadulterated emotionalism and seamless musicianship to her performance.

LOTL Welcomes The Legendary Eloise Laws Debut her new EP "Favorites" Is a 5 songs EP of Eloise's favorite songs. EP includes: I Fall So Deep, When I Fall In Love, The Key, My Ship, and A Christmas Lullaby -- "Sweet Little Jesus Boy" The incomparable world-renown, award-winning vocalist and Broadway actress Eloise Laws . Some families just have music in their genes, and Eloise Laws happens to belong to one. As well as being a talented vocalist and an "evocative arranger for piano, hand drums, violin and the Kalimba" in her own right, she is also the sister of the world renowned flutist Hubert and saxophonist Ronnie, who produced this sweet little Christmas goody of an album called, "Favorites." The 5 track CD is beautiful, and is so welcome this special time of year, breaking away from some of the traditional songs and incorporating a jazzy vocal spin to the season. Eloise has a voice that is strong, beautiful, and passionate, and those qualities come across loud and clear on each track, which are also wonderfully arranged. "The Key" is probably my favorite song, as I absolutely love the lyrics and her vocal performance is superb. She digs deep and makes you feel what she's singing. Great background vocals that are not overdone, along with some lovely, colorful, and enchanting flute playing really makes this a standout song. Eloise's vocals on the title track, "I Fall So Deep"

Raised in California, Porter’s mother was a minister, and he cites the Bakersfield Southern Gospel sound, as well as his mother’s Nat King Cole record collection, as fundamental influences on his own sound. Porter began singing in small jazz clubs in San Diego while attending San Diego State University on a football scholarship, where he played outside linebacker. Eventually it was music that Porter chose to pursue full-time at the encouragement of local musicians including his mentor Kamau Kenyatta.  Kenyatta invited Porter to visit him in the studio in Los Angeles, where he was producing flutist Hubert Laws' album Remembers the Unforgettable Nat King Cole. When Laws overheard Porter singing along while he was tracking the Charlie Chaplin song "Smile," he was so impressed with the young singer that he decided to include Porter on the album.

It's no wonder why the Industry has nicknamed him "Mr. Emotion"With the Philly soul sound so hot, Sigler got a chance to work with a number of acts as a writer and/or producer, including the Whispers, Ecstacy, Passion And Pain and Carl Carlton. He cut tracks for artists on Curtis Mayfield's Curtom label, including Mayfield himself ("Trippin' Out"), and made a duet album with Barbara Mason. In 1976, Sigler got Instant Funk an album deal with Gamble Huff's TSOP label.

LOTL RADIO Welcomes Kat Webb debut her new CD' "A Better Picture"In May 2011, she made her solo debut with “An Old Soul”, a compilation of jazz standards and soul classics re-imagined for the modern listener, recorded entirely in analog “A Better Picture” is Kat Webb’s sophomore album of original soul music. It draws on the numerous musical styles in Webb’s background, including some folk from her home state of Texas, some blues from the South, and some New Jack Swing from her new home on the East Coast. It was co-produced by world-class musician and veteran producer, Christian Ver Halen (Maya Azucena, Kendra Ross), and musician and band leader, Jesse Fischer (Soul Cycle, Gretchen Parlato). Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter, Gordon Chambers, once said to Webb in a private session, “You have it! You have a beautiful instrument; such a unique voice. “Waver”, the lead single from “A Better Picture”, has been met with extremely positive praise, with Giant Step remarking “if this first single is any indication, we’ve got a hefty treat awaiting us. Her sound has got our mushy feelings turned up on high”, and Traprock Radio adding about Webb “such a stunning, frictionless sound she has. Great Artist!! Hope to hear more from her in the future.”

"The Good Karma Project" is the name I chose for the album because this is more than just an album. It's a movement. The word karma and it's namesake can mean several things to different people, but for me Karma is a way of life! Most people have placed negative connotations around the word karma. Contrary to popular belief all karma isn't bad. Karma is light, it is balance. It's about getting back the energy that you put into the universe. As an artist, I plan to reestablish the true meaning of karma! With a degree in sound engineering, I am a female singer, songwriter and producer with two goals in mind; using my gifts to inspire those around me and to transcend my family into a life of prosperity.
