I've been a celebrity chef for over a decade and I released my first cookbook "Champagne & Collard Greens" in 2009.       NEW MJG's- In 2010, Maxi and Cheri reunited and put out calls to JoJo and Corvette to possibly reunite as the Mary Jane Girls (Candi was performing with Val Young's version of the group). After JoJo and Corvette declined to return, Maxi and Cheri made a decision to recruit two new girls, GiGi- the new urban girl and Nikki- the new vamp to carry on the Mary Jane Girls legacy.

Desiree's professional career took off in 2009 when she joined the girl group "Kemistrie". Managed by Randy Hankins and Chris Roker, the group quickly gained momentum performing 4-5 times a week throughout Southern California. In July 2010, Desiree and the group appeared live on the nationally televised show B.E.T. 106 & Park "Wild Out Wednesdays." Based on their outstanding performance, the group appeared on the show once again in August 2010 where they were voted as "All Star WInners" and won $5,000. Their single "Love Me Hate Me" was then placed on the televised radio show "Music Choice." With all the exposure, Desiree had the pleasure of working alongside many other artists such as California Swag District, The Rejects, YG, Colbie O Donis, Audio Push, Mann, to name a few.

  Birthed from music royalty, Rubi Green, daughter of Shirley and Al Green, started singing with her sisters at the age of three. Elle Winston is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter. She originates from Ft. Wayne, Indiana in the heart of the midwest, but spent most of her life growing up in southwest sun of Arizona. Her music draws it’s influences from American jazz, soul, funk, blues, r&b, alternative music and world music. Elle completed a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Arizona State University studying under Judy May. She went on two become deeply involved in the live music scene happening in Phoenix, Arizona. Singing with the funk group Hot Birds and the Chili Sauce and fronting the Latin group Bata Ire, Elle has sung an array of musical styles including rare-groove American funk and Afro-Cuban/Afro-Brazilian music. As a part of these two groups Elle has opened up for acts such as Gil-Scott Heron, Joan Jett, Groupo Fantasma, Orgone and many others. Elle has also had the opportunity to play Phoenix’s Gay Pride Festival and the McDowell Mountain Music Festival. As of December 2011, Elle finished and released her first solo project entitled, Who Said It Was Simple?. Elle and co-writer Kevan Aaron , as well as players Rich Kniss, James Przewlocki, Steve Limpert and Mike Moyhihan, worked to produce a project that was organic in method, production and ultimately sound.
