Frank Schaeffer, White Evangelicalism, and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank reads portions of an article by Frank Schaeffer titled, "How to Survive the TRUMPOCALYPSE and Build a Better America in 2017." In the article, Schaeffer says that white evangelical America is a force rooting for chaos and disintegration on par with Islamic extremists and terrorists, and the entire evangelical movement needs to be demolished. If that isn't enough, he goes on to say that there's no nice smart version of believing in a god who made people to burn forever unless they "accept Jesus." We should pray for Frank Schaeffer, but more importantly, always be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in us with gentleness and respect. Hank also answers the following questions: What do you think of Southern Baptists? They don't believe women should be ordained; what do you believe about this? What do the stones in the New Jerusalem represent? Could you help me understand why God commanded Israel to do violent sacrifices? How do we as Christians stay peaceful and get past the barriers between Republicans and Democrats? What do you think of Steven Furtick and Elevation church?

The Caliphate of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank discusses the book They Say We Are Infidels by Mindy Belz, editor of World Magazine. Writing about her own experiences through the power of story, she takes readers from the early 2000s to the present-detailing the church bombings and Christian persecution by the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. All too often here in the West, we are not in touch with the mass genocide that is happening in the Middle East. Hank also answers the following questions: What should the Christian response be to Trump's immigration ban? How would you respond to evangelical leaders who use the parable of the Good Samaritan to support caring for immigrants? Why would God allow Satan to torment Job? I listen to a lot of Reformed teachers like R.C. Sproul and John Piper. How do you interpret Romans and Paul's teaching on election as opposed to the TULIP doctrine? In the book of Proverbs, why did Solomon use female pronouns to personify wisdom? My daughter is involved with YWAM and has been showing some strange behavior. What do you think of YWAM? In the book of Genesis, how could there be different languages prior to Babel? Can you explain the binding and loosening Jesus talks about in Matthew 18:18? How did Satan sin when he was in heaven?

The Eternal Generation of the Son and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank underscores an article in the CHRISTIAN RESEARCH JOURNAL titled, "Begotten of the Father before All Ages: The Biblical Basis of Eternal Generation according to the Church Fathers." To say the Father begets the Son is to use a metaphor based on human experience. But the church fathers were well aware of the limitations of human begetting, which is why they specifically said it was without time and without beginning. Since nearly every theological heresy begins with a misconception of the nature of God, believers must understand what it means to say Jesus is the Son of God. Hank also answers the following questions: When talking about the cup Jesus spoke of in garden of Gethsemane, I heard Joseph Prince say Jesus drank our sins. Is this true? What is the difference between the Eastern Orthodox and Protestant doctrine of salvation? I've heard you say people choose to go to hell. So will they wish they weren't there or will they be glad to be away from God? How can I build a deeper relationship with God? As a Christian, how should I go about understanding the dinosaurs? Do you think the dinosaurs were wiped out at the time of the flood? In John 11:50-53, did Caiaphas understand his own prophecy? Can you explain this to me? How can I discuss the Roman Catholic canon and the perpetual virginity of Mary with a coworker?

The Incoherence of Transgenderism and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank comments on an article in the Daily Wire about a biologically male murderer who "identifies" as a woman. Peter Laing, a transgender "woman," who goes by the name Paris Green, has been moved back to the male section of prison because he had intercourse with multiple female inmates. Since there are supposedly more than fifty gender differentiations, moving Paris back to the male prison makes no sense if she is actually a he. This is all sad and confusing and shows why it is so important for Christians to be able to deal with issues like this. Hank also answers the following questions: Is the idea of self-love biblical? Shouldn't we put God first and loving others second? What are your thoughts on John Hagee? Why would Jesus tell people to go and sin no more since we can't do that? What is your take on the prosperity message and the idea of the 30, 60, 100 fold return? How should we deal with bi-polar disorder? How could God use animals as prophets, such as Balaam's donkey? What do you think of The Shack by William P. Young? Could you offer some advice to young Christians on how to study the Bible? How does one from a different faith have a conversation with an American Muslim? Should we separate the religion from the culture?

From the Mind of a Millennial and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank highlights an article in the CHRISTIAN RESEARCH JOURNAL titled, "From the Mind of a Millennial: How Did We Get Here, and How Do We Make it Better?" Christian Millennials are fighting a war they are often ill-equipped to fight. Their struggle is to be salt and light in a world actively trying to mold them into being like everyone else. They must arm themselves with the teachings of Christ and be rooted in a body of believers. There are challenges ahead, but with God, all things are possible. Hank also answers the following questions: In the flood, why didn't God destroy all the sea creatures? I've been going through a dark time; how can I have assurance of salvation? How can I feel the presence of God in my life? Can you explain the differences between God and Allah? When John the Baptist said the kingdom of God was at hand, did he mean we can bring the kingdom here on earth? What are your thoughts on the Episcopal Church that Judge Neil Gorsuch attends? Do you think the homosexual agenda is like Sodom and Gomorrah rising from the ashes and God is using Donald Trump to call people out? What do you think about Donald Trump's policy on immigration? How can we confront a pastor or leader in the church? Can you clarify your comments to the previous caller with mental health issues?

Best of BAM: Donald Trump, Abortion, and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank discusses President Donald Trump's executive order prohibiting U.S. aid from supporting international groups that promote abortion, as well as Madonna's profanity-laced speech where she mentioned blowing up the White House. Despite the rhetoric of the pro-choice movement, people like Madonna are not pro-choice, but pro-murder. As Planned Parenthood founder Margret Sanger said, "The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it." Hank also answers the following questions: I have non-Jewish friends who have been influenced by Messianic Jews and now believe we shouldn't celebrate holidays. How can I respond to this? Haven't all the prophecies in Scripture been fulfilled; couldn't Jesus return at any time? Did Adam and Eve's sin bring death into the world? Could you explain this in light of the geological evidence? Why does Luke order the temptations of Jesus differently than Matthew? If we witnessed the fall of Aleppo, would we have the same reaction to the fall of Jerusalem? Have you heard of Kingdom Circles? Can someone identify as a Muslim or Hindu, but still enter the kingdom of God? Have the seven feasts in Leviticus chapter 23 been fulfilled by Christ? Does the teaching of Bertrand Russell and social engineering explain why most people believe in evolution? What happens to unbelievers when they die? My husband claims to be a Christian, but left me without a biblical reason, and he says he prays for me. Will God listen to his prayers?

 Women in Islam and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank comments on a profane tweet by women's march organizer, Linda Sarsour who lashed out against Ayaan Hirsi Ali a Somali-born, Dutch-American activist. Ali responded by calling Sarsour a "fake feminist" and a defender of Sharia law. Ironically, equality in Islam is conspicuous by its absence. In Islam women are referred to as tilth-a field to be plowed. In a time when we are told Islam is a religion of peace, we must remember that there may be millions of peaceful Muslims, but Islam is anything but peaceful. Hank also answers the following questions: What do you think of the Greer-Heard point counterpoint forum? What do you think of Charles Stanley? How much should we concentrate on proving what the Bible teaches instead of telling people to have faith? Can you recommend an online apologetics course? When is God ever okay with divorce? What is the difference in language between the Old and New Testaments with regard to the angel of the Lord? What is your opinion of the legitimacy of the Iraq war? Will those who follow false teachers be denied from entering heaven? Can you explain 1 Corinthians 2:15? Can you address Word of Faith theology and Andrew Wommack?

Jesus in Islam with David Wood and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank welcomes Christian apologist and philosopher Dr. David Wood to discuss his article in the CHRISTIAN RESEARCH JOURNAL titled "Jesus in Islam." Hank and David talk about President Trump's supposed Muslim ban; the points of both agreement and disagreement Christians have with Muslims; the biblical understanding of Jesus as the Son of God, and the role Jesus plays in Islamic eschatology. Hank also answers the following questions: How can Hebrews 1:5 be about Jesus when the passage being quoted was referring to Solomon? Is 2 Peter chapter 3 speaking about 70 AD or the 21st century? My friend says she sees shadows or evil spirits; how can I help her? If God was able to save Jews in the Old Testament, why can't He save Jews today who don't believe in Jesus? Can you address the Islamic interpretation of Matthew 19:17?

 Resources on Islam and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank endorses the book, They Say We Are Infidels: On the Run from ISIS with Persecuted Christians in the Middle East by Mindy Belz as one of the best books written on this topic. He also highlights two articles in the latest edition of the CHRISTIAN RESEARCH JOURNAL titled "Jesus in Islam" by David Wood, and "Islam and Christianity: Is a Productive dialogue Possible" by Robin Dale Hadaway. Hank also answers the following questions: Can you explain the difference between being absent from the body, present with the Lord, and the teaching that the dead in Christ will rise first? Is it true that there are only two kinds of people in the world: saved or lost? When Jesus says that all authority was given to Him in Matthew 28:18, was this given to Him after the resurrection? With the election of Donald Trump and what is going on with Russia and China, do you think this is a harbinger of the end times? Can you explain preaching the gospel to the dead in 1 Peter 4:6? Is Jesus the second Adam? When He comes back will He be different than His first advent? I've had a lot of doubts about my salvation; do you have any encouragement for me? What does the Scripture have to say about how Christians should treat immigrants? Is the leaven mentioned in Matthew 13:33, good or bad? Why is it okay now to wear two different types of clothing, but not to practice homosexuality? Will those who are in hell also have incorruptible bodies?

Gender Bending of National Geographic and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank addresses a question he was asked concerning the special Gender Revolution issue of National Geographic. In answer to this previous question, Hank summarizes articles in the issue, which among other things, claims that all children need the opportunity to explore different gender roles. In the face of this gender bending activity, we must recognize that God has spoken and the Bible is absolutely clear on human gender roles. The pressure to yield to cultural norms is going to be pressed upon Christians with increased ferocity, but to yield is to abandon the very call God has placed upon our lives. Hank also answers the following questions: Can you comment on the book Radical by David Platt? Can we have whatever we ask in prayer? There have been things I've asked for in faith, but didn't receive. Why are there so many denominations? How can God be good when He asked Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac? Must divorcees reconcile or remain celibate? Can you expound Daniel 9:24-27? How could Pharaoh's magicians duplicate some of the miracles done by Moses and Aaron? My teenage granddaughter says that God is wrong because He is against homosexuals. She says my sins are no different than homosexuality. How can I address this biblically?

 Was 2016 the Hottest Year? and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank comments on a New York Times article by Justin Gillis claiming that 2016 was the hottest year on record. When challenged by Robert Tracinski about the specific data, Gillis responded by saying that New York Times readers aren't smart enough to understand the numbers. In reality however, last year's temperatures are indistinguishable from the previous year. In light of the politically correct narrative on global warming, we must exercise discernment. Hank also answers the following questions: Are there people in hell right now or will that happen when Jesus returns? Can you explain the meaning of Matthew 7:21-23? Is biblical love a more than emotion? If someone was alone on an island and had no access to the Bible, would they be allowed into heaven? Why did Jesus forbid some people He healed from telling others about it? What is the history behind the Crusades, and how did it affect Christianity today? Can you comment on the January edition of National Geographic? Does the salvation of households in Acts 16 promise the salvation of my children? I heard that some vaccines are causing the gender identity crisis. Have you heard anything about this? What is the difference between Calvinism and Arminianism? Do we have to fall into one of these categories?

Best of BAM: The Word of God with Carl Amari - Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank welcomes back Carl Amari, producer of The Word of God Audio Bible New Testament. Hank and Carl discuss the two years of production excellence that went into this dramatic audio theater presentation, including original sound effects, music score, and world-class Christian actors, all directed by a Bible scholar in order to make the Scriptures come alive. Hank also answers the following questions: Can you explain 2 Samuel 7:10? Since the Jews were already in the land of Israel, is this a prophecy concerning the future? Is saying Jesus is divine the same as saying Jesus is God? I know the Bible says to honor your father and mother, but my parents were abusive alcoholics, and when I got older, I had a fight with my mother. Can I receive forgiveness from Christ? Can you help me understand the book of Revelation? In light of all the corruption and fake news, how should I follow the news each day? Why is the Psalmist lamenting in Psalm 43:5? Can you shed some light on this passage?

The Privileged Planet with Jay Richards - Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Today's Bible Answer Man broadcast is the second part of an insightful interview with Dr. Jay Richards, Senior Fellow of the Discovery Institute. Hank and Jay continue to discuss the documentary film The Privileged Planet: The Search for Purpose in the Universe, which presents a compelling case that the cosmos reveals irrefutable evidence of God's design, genius, and majesty.

The Privileged Planet with Jay Richards - Part 1 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Today's Bible Answer Man broadcast is an encore presentation of an interview with Dr. Jay Richards, Senior Fellow of the Discovery Institute. Hank and Jay discuss the overwhelming astronomical evidence that confirms planet Earth is not just an ordinary speck of dust adrift in a vast cosmic sea, but rather it is in a privileged position in the universe not only to support life, but also for scientific discovery.

 Planned Parenthood's Deception and Q&A | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Hank shares his thoughts on Planned Parenthood in light of Live Action's recent investigation. With the possible loss of federal funding, Planned Parenthood has been putting extra emphasis on their non-abortion services, yet according to the research, Planned Parenthood's pre-natal care is virtually non-existent. Despite its claim to be champions of women's healthcare, Planned Parenthood aborts nearly 900 babies per day and over 320,000 per year. Hank also answers the following questions: What do you think of Christians being involved in martial arts like Taekwondo and Tai Chi? Can you help me understand the Eastern Orthodox doctrine of theosis? How should we prepare for the future mark of the beast? Will we be raptured before this? If God forbids murder in the Ten Commandments, why did He command the Israelites to kill the Canaanites? What is the difference between believing in Christ and religion? Could the teaching on binding and loosening refer to sharing the gospel? Does the binding always have to be negative; can it be positive? What does the Bible mean when it says that God repents? Do you agree with J. Gresham Machen's statements on liberal Christianity in his book Christianity and Liberalism? Why don't Bible-believing churches separate from liberalism?
