 The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 125 – It’s Steelers Week!!! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 58:57

My favorite week of every football season is Steelers week. My 2nd favorite week of every football season? The second time around against the Steelers! Nothing pumps me up more than watching the Black and Orange take on the Steelers. Whether its at Paul Brown Stadium or Hines Field, the games are epic, hard hitting sloberknockers and this version Sunday night has a ton at stake. The 9-4 Bengals made the AFC South champion Colts look ordinary last week and have a better than great chance of overtaking the Patriots for the 2 seed in the AFC. But regardless of that, let's hope that the Bengals can put the Steelers out of their 2013 misery and finish them off Sunday night, just like they did a year ago in the Steel City. In this week's show: This week we lead off the show talking about, you guessed it, Steelers Week. Has the luster worn off since the Steelers aren't playing their best football this season? We discuss why the Bengals running game is taking off at the exact perfect time of the season. We took calls from Pat, and regulars Fatal Content and John from KY. Each bringing up some great points. We talked about the possibility that Mike Zimmer could potentially leave the Bengals in the offseason for a head coaching job elsewhere. Do the Bengals need to make a statement this Sunday night in Pittsburgh? We debate. We take your calls, give out our Bold Predictions and Score Predictions for Sunday's game against the Steelers! We're going to try something new on Sunday evening, starting at 7:30 ET I'll be hosting a Who-Dey Hangout that Bengals fans will be able to join. If you're on Google+ (add me to your circles and we'll invite you Sunday night), and you have a webcam and microphone you're welcome to join us as we talk about the day's games leading up to Sunday night's game in Pittsburgh. Don't forget to join us for our Postgame coverage immediately following Sunday's game against the Colts. You can join us at CincyJungle.com/live.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Postgame vs Colts | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 38:39

Well the Bengals are turning Paul Brown Stadium into "The Jungle" again for visiting opponents! The Bengals moved to 6-0 on the year at home and Sunday marked the third straight home game the Bengals have scored 40 or more points. Cincinnati nearly got some help from Minnesota and Cleveland on Sunday but couldn't hold on. Regardless, it was one of the most memorable NFL Sunday's ever. The 90 combined touchdowns in one day is a new NFL record, and Matt Prater's 64 yard field goal is the new NFL record for longest field goal, EVER. What a fun day Sunday was. Did I mention it's now STEELERS WEEK????!!!!  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 124 – Grading the Offensive Line | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:09:22

The stage is set, a huge AFC match up this Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium as the Bengals play host to the AFC South leaders the Indianapolis Colts. On this week's show we discussed the Colts and how their 8-4 season doesn't seem all that great when you look at the numbers. It's easy to go 8-4 when you're in a division with the Texans, the Titans, and the Jaguars. Home losses to St. Louis (a 30 point loss I might add) and on the road in Arizona (ugly), I'm not sure what to make of this team. Either way the game on Sunday will be a cold one as it sounds like SNOW is in the forecast. Bundle up Bengals fans! In this week's show: This week we lead off the show talking about the Bengals win over the Chargers. Andy Dalton wasn't great, he wasn't bad, he was OK Andy, which usually means the Bengals are in good shape. The offensive line injuries are beginning to pile up with Clint Boling going on season ending IR. Welcome back Dennis Roland! We're joined this week by Pro Football Focus and CincyJungle.com contributor Jake Liscow who has graded the Bengals offensive line all season. You'd be surprised to hear where they rank among the other teams in the NFL. You can also find him on Twitter @jake_nfl. We talk a little bit about Anthony's visit to San Diego over the weekend. He has some great photos and an awesome write up about his visit. You can read Part One here and then Part 2 here! We take your calls, give out our Bold Predictions and Score Predictions for Sunday's game against the Colts! Don't forget to join us for our Postgame coverage immediately following Sunday's game against the Colts. You can join us at CincyJungle.com/live.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Postgame vs Chargers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 37:47

This week the Bengals notched their third win in a row on the West Coast with a 17-10 win over the San Diego Chargers. With the win, the Bengals kept pace with the top dogs in the AFC. They are now 8-4 with a huge match up ahead with the Indianapolis Colts in the Jungle this Sunday! If the season were to end today, the Bengals would be hosting the 9-3 Chiefs. However, lets hope they take it one game at a time. We will find out a lot about both of these teams after Sunday's game in Cincinnati!  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 123 – Surprise! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 37:35

I know I know, we said we weren't going to have an episode this week, well we couldn't resist! We had to do a show, especially after watching the Chargers knock off the Chiefs this past Sunday. The Bengals are coming off their bye week and will be heading out to San Diego this week for a big AFC match up. It's not necessarily a must win game, but its a big game that the Bengals SHOULD win. Let's hope that the offense from October shows up on the left coast! We hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! In this week's show: We lead off the show talking about the Chargers win over the Chiefs. The Chargers offense has some weapons at their disposal. Despite the win in KC, the Chargers still gave up 38 points to the Chiefs. The Bengals are getting healthier with Rey Maualuga and Devon Still coming back. What kind of impact will Andrew Hawkins have on this offense? We give out our Bold Predictions and Score Predictions for Sunday's game. Don't forget to join us for our Postgame coverage immediately following Sunday's game against the Chargers. You can join us at CincyJungle.com/live.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 122 – Back to Winning Football | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:04:55

Despite crawling out of a 13-0 deficit, a win is a win and the Bengals now find themselves at 7-4 heading into their bye week with a nice 2.5 game cushion on the rest of the division. Hopefully the Bengals players, and coaching staff will spend the week off recharging their batteries to allow themselves to bring on a renewed focus as they head down the homestretch of the 2013 season. Now historically the team does not do well following byes in the Marvin Lewis era. With that said, Marvin used to be awful at challenges too. But he's been perfect so far in 2013 and maybe this bye week stat can be turned around as well. The Bengals will head to San Diego next weekend to take on a Chargers team that shouldn't be taken lightly. ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday next week and the fact the Bengals are not playing on Sunday, there will be no Who-Dey Weekly next Wednesday night. In this week's show: We lead off the show talking about Andy Dalton's start to the game. What a 2nd quarter by this team. 31 points, a new franchise record. Vontaze Burfict is playing like a beast and the punt coverage team was doing work against the Browns. We take a look at the latest roster news, the Bengals signed Christo Bilukidi (again). On a sad note, we discuss the passing of former Bengals linebacker Thomas Howard, who died tragically in a car accident earlier this week. We discuss the comments made by Michael Johnson regarding the booing Bengals fans at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday. We take your calls and hand out our letter grades for the first half of the season. What letter grade do you give the Bengals so far in 2013? Leave your grades in the comments below.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Postgame vs Browns | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 34:46

It certainly didn't start off pretty on Sunday for the Bengals. Joe Haden's 2nd interception of Andy Dalton gave the Browns a 13-0 lead. However, the Bengals roared back in the 2nd quarter by scoring a franchise best 31 points. Two defense/special teams TD's and two Andy Dalton touchdown passes capped off by a Mike Nugent field goal. Statistically Andy Dalton's day wasn't great, he still had 3 TD passes but the two interceptions were awful. Fortunately for Bengals fans the defense saved the day. They forced Browns QB Jason Campbell to checkdown to his tight end's or running back's all day. A win going into their bye was just what the doctor ordered. Now lets hope they can get healthy soon!  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 121 – Missed Opportunities | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:16:41

The Bengals are currently enduring their first losing streak of the season after losing a tough one to Baltimore in overtime on Sunday. To be fair, they really had no business getting the game into overtime. However, after Andy Dalton's Hail Mary touchdown pass, the Bengals missed a golden opportunity in overtime to walk out of Baltimore with a win. Instead they sit 6-4 and still in first place with 2nd place Cleveland coming to town on Sunday. Let's hope the Bengals can end this streak on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium! Dalton struggled on Sunday in Baltimore, was it the wind? The playcalling? The play of the offensive line? We discussed. We were joined by Paul Dehner of the Cincinnati Enquirer who's covering the Bengals beat. We discuss Andy Dalton's play and the severe scrutiny he seems to be under. We look ahead to this weekend's game vs the Browns. What's do you think the biggest factor will be determining the outcome of Sunday's game? Turnovers? QB play? The defense?  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Postgame vs Ravens | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:48

The Bengals are experiencing their first and hopefully only losing streak of the 2013 season after losing 20-17 in OT today to the Baltimore Ravens. The fact the Bengals made it to OT was a miracle in itself as Andy Dalton completes a Hail Mary at the end of regulation to AJ Green. The Bengals had their opporunity in overtime but couldn't convert a big 4th down. The Ravens squeak out a win after Joe Flacco completes 20 passes for just 140 yards. The Bengals look to bounce back next week at home with a big AFC North game against Cleveland. PLEASE VOTE! The Who-Dey Weekly podcast is a finalist in the 9th Annual Podcast Awards!  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 120 – No Choice But to Move On | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:06:37

The Bengals rough outing last week against the Dolphins hurt them only marginally in the standings but it hurt them big time in the morale category. It was not a good week at all to be a Bengals fan. Despite the loss, the Bengals still had a fighting chance to win that ballgame, a couple breaks here and there, you're looking at 7-2. The loss of Geno Atkins for the year is a big blow, but we'll see just how resilient this team is heading into two big AFC North games against Baltimore and Cleveland. We take a look back at the Miami game and talk about Andy Dalton's struggles. The running game finally showed up in Miami, will it continue in Baltimore? What's wrong with the Ravens?  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Postgame vs Dolphins | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 35:47

The Bengals took one on the chin Thursday night against the Dolphins, losing in overtime, on a safety. Not only that, they lost their best defender Geno Atkins for the year with a torn ACL. The good news? The Bengals still have a 2 game lead in the AFC North. Let's hope that the the Bengals can get over this one quickly, enjoy the mini break they get this weekend and immediately get to work on taking down the Ravens next Sunday in Baltimore. PLEASE VOTE!  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 119 – Trick or Treating in South Beach! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 48:43

Well the Bengals haven't had a lopsided win like that in a REALLY long time. The last one I can remember was a Chicago game in 2009, coincidentally the last year the Bengals won the division???? Hmmmm. Andy Dalton's torrid play continued over the weekend with a stellar 5 TD performance against the Jets. Congrats to Marvin Jones as well for winning AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after his 100 yard and 4 TD performance. With a short turnaround this week, let's hope the Bengals can get re-focused on playing the Dolphins Thursday night. In this week's show: We lead off the show talking about the Jets game, the performance by Andy Dalton, Marvin Jones and the rest of the offense. We also talk about the show and surprise that the game was as lopsided as it was. The Jets defense came in ranked 4th, that was not evident on Sunday. The injuries for the Bengals are starting to mount, Maualuga, Mays, Gilberry, Sanu. We discuss the roster moves made by the Bengals this week as well. We took a few moments to talk about the Podcast Awards. Thanks to all of you who went out and nominated our show for the Podcast Awards. Who-Dey Weekly has been a finalist for the past 3 years and this year we're up against some great competition. Everyone make sure you get out and vote for us starting November 1st at podcastawards.com. You can vote one time per day from November 1st through the 15th. We take a look at Thursday night's game against the Dolphins. The Dolphins offensive line is in shambles so you know Mike Zimmer and the defensive line can smell the blood in the water. We give our bold predictions as well as our as score predictions. Give us your bold predictions in the comments below!  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Postgame vs Jets | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 51:26

Four wins in a row and the Bengals are now 6-2 with a 2.5 game lead in the AFC North. What a blowout! 49-9 over the Jets? Who saw that coming? Well, Mickey did the other night on Who-Dey Weekly. The Bengals jumped out early on the Jets as Andy Dalton moved the ball at will through the air and Marvin Jones breaks the franchise record for receiving touchdowns in a game with 4. What a great day to be a Bengals fan! We also received some great news tonight! The Who-Dey Weekly podcast is a finalist in the 9th Annual Podcast Awards!  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 118 – Making the Trek to Your Football Mecca | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:15:55

Steve Kinney has been a lifelong Bengals fan. His family was living in Ohio when the franchise was born in 1968. They then moved all around the country until he finally settled in New Milford, CT. 45 long years later, Steve is FINALLY going to witness a Bengals game in person from the comforts of Paul Brown Stadium this weekend as they take on the Jets. All thanks to an amazing gift from his son Brian. Do you remember your first Bengals game? My first game was at Cinergy Field, also known as Riverfront Stadium, in 1997 for the season opener against Arizona. In this week's show: We lead off the show talking about the Bengals 5-2 start and how the Bengals currently rank 2nd in the NFL in Strength of Victory behind only the Colts. Andy Dalton was robbed of AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. He lost out to Andrew Luck, the same Andrew Luck that was 21-38 against the 30th ranked defense in the league AND the 32nd ranked pass defense. Oh did I mention it was a home game for Luck too? Andy Dalton went on the road for the 2nd straight week and put up 300 yards. NBD. Vontaze Burfict is the NFL's leading tackler and the defense took a huge hit with the loss of Leon Hall. We had the opportunity to catch up with Steve Kinney on the phone this week from his home in New Milford, CT. Steve as we mentioned above is getting the red carpet treatment by the Bengals this weekend and will get to see his team LIVE for the first time. In case you missed the viral video, here's the link. You can tell deep down how big of a fan Steve is of the Bengals and he's expecting big things from this team for years to come! Steve, we hope you have a blast on Sunday and enjoy the game with your son! WHODEY! We take your calls and talk about Dre Kirkpatrick, the defense, Jermaine Gresham's penalty woes and more. We give our bold predictions as well as our as score predictions. Give us your bold predictions in the comments below! Three wins in a row and the Bengals are now 5-2 with a two game lead in the AFC North. If the season were to end today, the Bengals would have a first round bye in the playoffs. Say what? Let's not get too ahead ourselves though, the Bengals have a tough team in the New York Jets coming to town next week fresh off a big win over the Patriots. Regardless we celebrated today's win over the Lions on our postgame show. If you have a moment, please do us a solid and leave our podcast a review in the iTunes store. It's really easy to to!
