 The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 107 – Hard Knocks Review | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 54:48

What a way to kickoff this season of Hard Knocks. Episode 1 had its season premiere Tuesday night and it certainly didn't disappoint. One thing you know you're going to get every year is quality. NFL Films does it better than anyone else, period. The music, the footage, the slo-mo shots, the beautiful shots of the Cincinnati skyline. The shot opening up the show from below the train that elevates till you can see over the train on the bridge down into the Paul Brown Stadium practice fields was awesome. That bridge is awfully high and I wonder how they were able to shoot that scene. The show gave us an in depth look on the Bengals coaching staff and to see them be so candid was very refreshing. In this week's show: Anthony, Mickey and I breakdown episode one of Hard Knocks. We discuss just how much the injuries played a part in this first episode. James Harrison is a bad dude! Hue Jackson is a fiery guy and this episode was a great example of how much Hue's attitude is appreciated. The two rookies Gio Bernard and Tyler Eifert and their roles on this team. We continued with our Stay or Go segment discussing which Running backs and Quarterbacks will make the final roster. We wrap things up bringing back a blast from the past, a game we used to play on the show "Name that Bengal". Don't forget to tune in to our Pregame and Postgame Coverage before and after the Bengals preseason opener against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday night! Join us at cincyjungle.com/live.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 106 – The Pads are Popping! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 51:46

Training Camp kicked off last Thursday with a massive first day scare from AJ Green who sprained his knee and hasn't practiced since. It doesn't look like he'll be playing in Atlanta next week for the Bengals preseason opener either. The Andre Smith watch finally ended as he was taken off the PUP list and returned to practice this week. Another tackle though has missed some practice this week in Andrew Whitworth. Whit is coming off offseason knee surgery and says if the regular season were today he could probably play. The new additions on offense though seemed to be meshing quite well as Gio Bernard and Tyler Eifert get their first taste of an NFL training camp. In this week's show: We're joined by our CJ Training Camp Correspondent, Brennen Warner, who was at Paul Brown Stadium over the weekend and shot some amazing footage of the Oklahoma drills that took place on Sunday. Brennen fills us in on who's been doing well in camp and where he thinks the team stands right now. We introduce a new game called "Stay or Go" which is how we'll breakdown each roster group from now until final cutdowns. We only have a few weeks so something tells me we'll be doubling up over the next few episodes. This week we look at the current WR's on the roster and debate who will stick around with the Bengals this fall. We take a look around the AFC North and the injuries Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cleveland have taken on early in Training Camp. We wrap things up with a big announcement about the podcast and website CincyJungle.com. Tune in to find out all about it! If you have questions about subscribing to the podcast or need assistance downloading the show, please email me at whodeyfans@spnt.tv, I'll be more than happy to help.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 105 – Training Camp Begins | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:01:21

The long offseason is FINALLY over as Training Camp 2013 kicks off Thursday at Paul Brown Stadium. It doesn't feel like it was all that long ago the Bengals were walking off the field in Houston. Now its year three of the Gruden, Dalton, Green era, will this offense take the next step in 2013? Will the linebackers take the next step this season with the addition of James Harrison and the return of Rey Mauluga? Which wide receiver on this team will take grab of the #2 spot and run with it? All answers we're seeking here in the next few weeks as Training Camp progresses toward the first preseason game 15 days from now. In this week's show: We welcome Mr. Whodeyfans back with open arms though Mickey did have to skip his softball game tonight. We discuss Mike Brown's comments this week regarding the selection of "risky" players. We take a look at the biggest roster news coming from Paul Brown Stadium this week, particularly the release of guard Travelle Wharton and Andre Smith's inclusion on the NFI/PUP list to start camp. We receive a voicemail from one of our biggest fans across the pond asking about Dre Kirkpatrick. We're joined by the play-by-play voice of the Bengals Radio Network, Dan Hoard, where he fills us in on life as a broadcaster. Dan is one of the best in the business and he does a great job calling games on the radio for the Bengals. He tells us how he spends his offseason, what kind of preparation he does each week and the differences and difficulties calling games on both the College and NFL levels. We wrap things up with our All Time Offense Post Super Bowl where Mickey and I debate who should be the choice at quarterback, Dalton or Palmer.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 104 – Things are Heating Up | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 56:14

The Bengals announced two signings this week, Tyler Eifert was the last of the draft picks to sign on the dotted line. Then Carlos Dunlap agreed to a 5 year extension, all the while we thought there was a chance Michael Johnson and the club may have made headway on their long term extension talks. It's been a good week so far for the Bengals and now we're just a week away from Training Camp 2013. The long offseason is finally coming to an end. In this week's show: Anthony and I discuss the weather (again), and the Carlos Dunlap and Tyler Eifert deals. Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com stopped by the show again to talk about the Dunlap deal and everything else in Bengaldom. Geoff fills us in on the status of Andre Smith and his feelings on "lists". The Who-Dey Weekly Poll question makes it's triumphant return. Which quarterback would you rather have? Johnny Manziel or Andy Dalton? We wrap things up with a discussion on Adam Jones thanks to our #1 caller "John from Kentucky". If you have questions about subscribing to the podcast or need assistance downloading the show, please email me at whodeyfans@spnt.tv, I'll be more than happy to help.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 103 – Pop Tart Diets | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:21

After taking a week off for the Fourth of July holiday, Who-Dey Weekly is back and better than ever! This week we're joined by Lindsay Patterson of ESPN 1530 in Cincinnati as we discuss her thoughts on the Bengals and her latest endeavor, trying to become the newest Fox Sports Ohio girl. In this week's show: Anthony and I discuss the weather, and the differences between our two regions with Anthony in sunny California and myself in flat, boring, muggy Northwest Ohio. Ron Jaworski kicked off his quarterback rankings list and put Andy Dalton at 19th. Is this too low? Too high? Just right? Hear our thoughts about where we think Dalton should be. The Bengals announced today the release of DE Jamaal Anderson. Orson Charles has been officially listed as an H-back on the Bengals roster. We visit with Lindsay Patterson, who last time on our show said the Bengals were going to MISS the playoffs in 2011. Make sure you go vote for her to become the next Fox Sports Ohio girl. She works incredibly hard at all of her jobs and she's well deserving. We wrap things up with a discussion on Michael Johnson and the chances of him being extended prior to the NFL deadline in a few days. If you have questions about subscribing to the podcast or need assistance downloading the show, please email me at whodeyfans@spnt.tv, I'll be more than happy to help.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 102 – Playing What If | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:54

Some of the biggest news in the NFL in recent history came down today as former New England Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez was charged with first degree murder in a Massachussets courtroom today. It was the first time an NFL player on an active roster had been charged with murder since Rae Carruth back in the early 2000's. Its a topic we must broach because the Bengals do face the Patriots this year and well this certainly won't be the Patriots we're used to seeing regardless. In this week's show: The Aaron Hernandez situation, how it effects the Patriots and how the Bengals will stack up against New England this fall. We play the "What If" game when it comes to the quarterback position. We debate which position group is the weakest. Would former first overall pick JaMarcus Russell be a good fit for the Bengals in a backup quarterback role? We got some great phone calls this week, one in particular from Weldon who asks for our thoughts on the Bengals kicking game. We also hear from our good pal John from Kentucky and his travels up and down this country's great highways. Do you have a 2nd favorite NFL team? Anthony and I discuss some teams that we enjoy watching and who we might call our favorite 2nd team. There will be no show next week due to the July 4th holiday. We hope you all have a happy and more importantly SAFE Fourth of July next week. It is after all June. Would you rather him be practicing now or come August? Who's the one player on offense you're really looking forward to see this fall? There are a lot of options to choose from with the new additions of Bernard and Eifert. AJ Green is always amazing. Who you got? What are our expectations of Rey Mauluga heading into this season? Often the ridicule of most Bengals fans, and played poorly at times in 2012, can he bounce back? We got this question from Matt Gray and he's looking ahead to 2014.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 96 – 2012 Season Wrap Up | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:23

2012 was a great year to be a Bengals fan! They made the playoffs in back to back years for the first time in 30 years. That's amazing. The Bengals are an up and coming team STILL and they play in a division where the rest of the players are turning into grumpy old men. Ed Reed, Troy Palamalu can't play forver. Its guys like Ray Rice, Antonio Brown, Mike Wallace that scare me in the AFC North. We get it, the playoff outcome is not what he had hoped for but let's be real here fans. It could be a LOT worse. We'd love to hear your thoughts this offseason on what the Bengals should do to strengthen the team so please email us or leave us feedback on iTunes, via email or on Twitter. Let's look back on 2012 as the positive season that it was, and get pumped for 2013. In this week's show: We look back at the loss in Houston John from KY calls in and gives us his take on Rey Mauluga and Marvin Lewis. Who's to blame?  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 95 – Technology Rules | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:09

The last time we spoke the Bengals needed to beat Pittsburgh to get into the postseason. Check. They also needed to beat the Ravens to clinch double digit wins for the third time under Marvin Lewis. Check. Now the Bengals have a prime opportunity to end their most daunting streak, winning a postseason game for the first time in forever. The Bengals are facing a familiar postseason foe, the Houston Texans. This same Houston Texans team that knocked them out of the postseason one year ago. Can the Bengals get over the hump? Or will it be the same postseason debacle we've seen in the Marvin Lewis era? One and Done. Let's hope they figure it out Saturday! In this week's show: Bengals win in Pittsburgh and beat the Ravens Brett Kollman of BattleRedBlog.com (A Texans blog) joins us to tell us how scared he is of the Bengals. It took 95 episodes but we finally got our first BEN GALS Cheerleader on! Selina Samano joined us and fills us in on her Texas roots and who her favorite Bengals player is currently.  The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 94 – Here We Go | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 48:52

This is it. This is the THE statement game of all statement games. Beat the Steelers in THEIR house to earn a spot in the postseason. You want to be considered one of the best teams in the AFC, scratch that, the AFC NORTH you must win this game. Otherwise its another year of the same old Bengals. The Bengals backed in a year ago by losing their last game against Baltimore. There's little hope of the Steelers losing next week against the Browns. This group of Bengals, like years past in 2005, 2009 need to win on Sunday and make the statement that the Bengals are in fact contenders in the AFC North, postseason and beyond. In this week's show: Nice, ugly win vs Philly Offensive line played like garbage Feedback Shoutouts/Announcements - Shop till you Drop! Paul Dehner of CBSSports.com joins us Bold Predictions/Score Predictions for Sunday and next week vs Baltimore Want to Subscribe To Who-Dey Weekly?
