Not perfect. Just trying to fine tune my technique.
Tunaday #23 - In Sawmill tuning - (gDGCD).
For the old-time Tune of the Week, 11-16-18, Kentucky Winder is a crooked tune from John Salyer. A winder may be a kind of a dance, but not much is known about it. Kentucky tunes like this are often mysteriously pleasing.

This is a clip from a semi-weekly jam with Larry Edelman (fiddle), Dave Parman (guitar), and me (banjo). I am largely faking it since this was the second time I had ever played the tune. Recorder was on my knee, so banjo is a bit more present relative to the other instruments, but posting anyway. I love playing tunes with these guys! Banjo (tuned to open G--gDGBD) is a 1903 Fairbanks Whyte Laydie #2 with pie-plate resonator.
Tunaday #32 - In standard G tuning (gDGBD)
Edelweiss
For the old-time Tune of the Week, Sweet Nell is the title name of a CD by a Washington-based group who wrote the tunes. The tune is named for Nell, the daughter of Paul Newman, partners in a charity-based organic snack company. It's a sweet tune.
My second attempt at this TOTW. I hope this isn't too late.
Again this is my personnal interpretation
