I sandwiched today’s walk between tasks. It’s a good day so far.

It was way colder than I expected so I hiked along at a good clip. Now I’m inside where it’s warm and thinking about a shower. :/ I’m never satisfied!

I kinda lose track of the days, in spite of writing it in my journal every day. It feels like a Monday and the talk got truncated a bit in the beginning.

We had some and will probably have more but I got out there this morning on a gorgeous spring day.

I just realized I missed the anniversary of TOMMW. We began this thing on March 25, 2011. Six years ago. Yikes. I’ll have to talk about that tomorrow because today I had other news.

Twenty-eight thousand words and a story I believe in. It was a struggle. It took me until late last night to get the word count I wanted but today we start adapting what I learned to every day. Fingers crossed.

Each day has gotten more difficult to get to 7,000 words. And I forgot to post because I came home and immediately jumped into fixing breakfast and then fell back into the word processor. Oye.

Ugh. I made my 7k yesterday. The story is moving. I’m dragging. 1800 words before the walk. I’m still recovering from the rain, the grocery run, and getting side-tracked by food.

With 7000 words yesterday and 2000 words behind me this morning, I’m having the best few days of writing I’ve enjoyed in months. Let’s see how long I can keep this up.

So I’m working on the 25k in 4day challenge. With 2k under my belt and the time consuming chores largely behind me, I only need another 4,250 words to make the quota for today. I’ll try to put some extra in the bank!

I hope it’s only the day they come to pick up the trash. I got out early and am working toward breakfast, but apparently I didn’t have a lot to say this morning.

When I got back to the house, I was able to check the garage and found the missing earbuds on the floor of the car. My day is immeasurably improved, but I need to process why this minor setback felt like such a rug-pull-catastrophe.

It was a glorious morning. ETA: I realized that I said “a week until the full moon” instead of “a week until the NEW moon.” That makes the next full moon three weeks away instead of one week away. :/
