I made it back safely and must now try to rebuild my schedule…starting with the morning walk.
This will be the last talk until I get back from BaltiCon. I have to leave early tomorrow morning and I know better than to think I won’t be throwing things into the suitcase at the last minute. See you on the other side.
I got out later than I wanted because of food and family. It was too hot but that’s my penalty for missing the cool of the day.
If yesterday was snotty, this morning made up for it. I got 4 miles in yesterday!
It wasn’t exactly raining, but it was a wet and nasty day out there this morning.
It was really too late to be out, but I went anyway.
Somehow between yesterday and today, the Dropbox on this machine decided to give up the goats. Spelling intentional Honestly I think I shared too much about diabetes again this morning, but I really don’t remember what I said.
I got out today. Talked a lot about what I’ve learned from the diabetes education program. Sorry if it comes across like a old fart talking about his “condition.”
I spent yesterday afternoon playing trivia games with fans and fellow authors at an event sponsored by the High Plains Library District. The event happened at WeldWorks – a local brew pub here in Greeley. A good time was had by all.
I talked a lot about Dan’s work this morning. We spent too much time last evening trying to figure out why he has so few readers. I think we determined that he has too much different stuff – so too many audiences to keep corralled with one pen. Pun intended.
I think I steered clear of spoilers this morning. Certainly nothing like yesterday. I clipped a bit out of the end when one of the neighbors stopped to talk to me but I forgot to get her permission to record it. It comes right after “coming up behind” and before “a bit of an aside.”
The last few days I’ve prioritized Writing over Walking. Today got off to such a late start I haven’t started writing yet so I got the walk in. SPOILER ALERT! If you haven’t finished reading TO FIRE CALLED, you might want to skip this one.
What a difference a day makes in the snow pack this time of year.
That’s really snow and it feels like early March rather than late April. I wore my parka today.
I got good news from the nurse and better news from Karen.
