Getting out early Sunday morning always makes me think of the old Sunday Morning with Charles Kurault. Today was no exception.

I got out early this morning. After yesterday’s 100F weather, I was leery about waiting too long. There was a bit of overcast for most of the walk so it wasn’t too bad. I think I’ll need to get out earlier tomorrow.

I got up and out. Yes, I know the official Solstice was yesterday but the difference in day length between yesterday and today is less than 1 second.

It was hotter than I needed on the final mile. I got home and had to sit for a minute before fixing breakfast. Apparently I did more walking than talking. Honestly, I was just enjoying the moment.

I didn’t have a lot to say this morning. I said it anyway.

I talked about my father and about being a father. NOTE: My wind screen got displaced but I didn’t notice until I got home and took off the harness. There’s a lot of wind noise on this one. I’m posting it for completion sake, but it’s going to be tedious to listen to.

Middle of the night but we got a strategy that worked.

We’ve got cat issues this morning and I forgot to talk. I clipped 4:15 of my boot sounds out of it so the file’s a bit short today. :/

I talked a lot about my meeting with the dietitian yesterday.

Endomondo told me I set a personal best for 3km this morning. Go me?

I has new boots. I don’t remember when I got the last pair but at least 500 miles ago. Let’s hope these new ones last a little longer.

I had to have the kid at work by 6AM. So I walked when I got home.

I got out relatively early but then forgot to post :/

Or at least the sidewalk. I don’t think I re-injured the pedal digit and it felt good to be back out there.
