It felt much colder than the temperature would have implied.
It wasn’t a pretty morning until I got almost home.
It started out kinda gray and bleah but the clouds had begun to burn off by the time I got around the loop.
I looked at my phone to make sure I knew the date, then said April 22nd. Some days I think there’s no hope for me. I talked food and marketing today.
When the sun came out at 9:30, I got my boots on and did the walk. “Fake it ’til you make it” will be my motto for a while I guess.
So I talked about why I was so sloggy yesterday.
I was moving slow and talking little
Or … whatever passes for it these days.
Not something one sees very often here. It made the morning sounds quite different.
It was a nice brisk morning for all that it’s pushing 50F and the sun is shining.
I pushed right along this morning. Didn’t have too much to say, but more than yesterday.
I’m back, had some more food and coffee, so I may be getting a little better focus.
In the sun, it was mostly comfortable enough. In the shade – with the wind – not so much.
I had to be out and about early this morning so I went for the walk early. It was a lovely morning and I talked about the cover reveal snafu from last night. I hate publishing stuff like that on my public timeline.
I’m not sure why I had him on my mind today. He published his first books in ’64 but he’s only 9 years older than I am. It’s *possible* I met him … an idea I find endlessly fascinating this morning.
