- The voice we respond to determines the future we experience. - Ps. 139: 13-15 - Four Confessions around 4 areas where we hear a lot of chatter that try to keep us from believing what God says! - Confess: To Say the same thing. To agree with what God says! - Confession 1: God Says I Am - Overpowering the lies of the Enemy in your Insecurities - Confession 2: God Says He Will - Overpowering the lies of the Enemy in your fears - Confession 3: God Says He Has - Overpowering the Enemy in your condemnation - Confession 4: God Says I Can - Overpowering the lies of the Enemy in your discouragement - “I am Never______________ Enough” - Exodus 3:1-11 - Moses’ instinctive response is driven by insecurity! 1. I'm so dysfunctional (Exodus 2:11-15) 2. I'm so deficient - lacking something that is needed, not having enough of what is necessary. (Exodus 4:10-13) - When You doubt the product. You Insult the manufacturer! - If God left it out of you then it is not needed for you to fulfill your destiny! 3. I'm so doubtful (Exodus 4:14,16, 3:13-15) - Moses I know You are: Doubtful, Deficient, Dysfunctional - But I am the God who fills in your blank! - I am never__________enough. - Whatever you are not I will be to you if you will trust me! I am! - It is not about what you are it is about who I am! - Exodus 20:7 - do not take God's name in vain - If I am in you then you are not either! - I am so dysfunctional but God says I am so gracious - I am so deficient but God says I am so sufficient - I am so doubtful bot God says I am so faithful - Let God be what you are not - In Him I am! - When you stand before your deficiency, your doubts, your dysfunction and they ask, "Do you think you are able to meet the challenges that are before you?" Look right back at them and say, "I don’t think I am. I know that I am! I am free, I am forgiven, I am capable, I am loved, I am more than a conqueror!"

Enemy/In Me - Beware of no man more than yourself; we carry our worst enemies with us (Charles Spurgeon). - No matter who you are or what things are around you. We have to learn to defy our inner critic. - The Chatter box is always interpreting what you are hearing. 3. Dialogue/Destiny - The worst thing about the chatter box is the destiny that it keeps us from discovering. - Lies create limitations. The limitations you embrace will keep you from seeing the destiny you were created for. Gen. 3:1-5 - You get to choose who you listen to - Luke 8:18 4. Deception/Distortion - "Did God really say?" - the enemy takes something God says and distorts it just a little bit in orer to deceive you. The enemy will distort what you did and try to convince you that is who you are. 5. Premise/Promise - your thoughts are to your soul what food is to your body (Matt. 4:1-4). - Let God's promise be your premise. 6. Consume/Consumed - you choose the thoughts that you consume and then they consume you. - If the enemy can get you to consume the things you were never meant to eat then he can get them to dominate you in your heart. 7. Detection/Defense - the thing that makes deception effective in your life is when it goes undetected 8. Whatever/Whatever - as you walk through life, there is going to be chatter - you get to choose what you listen to (Phil. 4:8-9)

Is it possible for me to be fully surrendered to Christ, to fully follow His will, take up my cross, deny myself and celebrate Me? To be fully devoted to His purpose and plan? WE > ME God designed me to live in the we. God's plan for me is connected in the We Church is not just a place for me to attend but a community to belong to. Church is God's idea. A community He created for every "Me" to belong to so "We" can spur one another on to love and good deeds. Scripture teaches that an attitude of "We" is elevated over the attitude of "Me" "We" Can do more than "Me" We are better together. We achieve more together and "Me" is actually made better by "We" Scripture Teaches us to have an attitude that elevates "We" over the "Me" Consider this: Phil 2:1-7 Example: If you get up and walk out of a service early then Me just distracted We in order to get ahead of the crowd. Every Me is formed for the greater We. Any Me that separates from the We becomes a self-governing, self- opinionated individual. Seeking their own desire. Every Me matters to God! Luke 16 a lost sheep, a lost coin and a lost boy. Bill Taylor founder of Fast Company writing in the Harvard Business Review says: New York Times pundit David Brooks recently expressed in 800 words a message I have spent the last 15 years trying to communicate to senior business leaders and ambitious young people around the world. The title of Brooks's column was "It's Not About You," and he wrote it as a rebuttal to commencement-season addresses that urge young people to follow their passion, pursue their dreams, and, above all, do what makes them happy. "This is the litany of expressive individualism," Brooks warns, and "this mantra misleads on nearly every front. truth be told, the column makes him sound like a bit of a curmudgeon, the skunk at balloon-filled graduation parties celebrating the sense of possibility and the spirit of freedom that defines life for young people who have come of age in a world of instant communications, global connectivity, and dotcom millionaires. But I'm with Brooks and his words of warning against the cult of self-fulfillment. The more executives, entrepreneurs, and talented individuals I get to know, the more convinced I become that true happiness, a genuine sense of satisfaction, comes, as Brooks suggests, not from "finding" yourself but from losing" yourself — in a company you believe in, a cause you are prepared to fight for, a commitment to solve a problem that has defied solution. In other words, "we" is bigger than "me" — the true measure of success is not the value you create for yourself but the values that define your work and how you lead and live. God has designed us to be Connected for His purpose: Ephesians 2:15-22, Ephesians 4:11-16, I Corinthians 12:4-27
