The blue polka dot whale makes another appearance. After swallowing the Silver Star, he has become sea sick. The whale is even more upset when he learns the Silver Star is made from glass, and he dives back under the waves. Sammie the Seal shows up and actually gets the Star. Barry shares a glimpse of the non-glamourous side of being a licensed confidential investigator. Then she walks through his door. A dame who needs help, but flees out the back when a knock comes to the door. A knock that belongs to a man with a knife in his back. Cops are on the case, but a clue sends Barry on a trail that takes him to the park, and a meeting with the dame. Along the way, Barry talks to the elevator operator for clues on the stabbed man./ The dame turns out to be Wilma Lord, and is connected to dangerous thugs. Will Barry be walking into a trap in the park? After a thump on the head, Barry awakens in the custody of gangsters in the Gilded Lily nightclub. . Didn’t the thugs have the man stabbed? Why do they want to find the dame? Cops swoop in to rescue Barry, but he’s already a step ahead of them in his pursuit. He’ll soon have answers about the murdered man, the dame, and a marriage in trouble.

Our heroes are surrounded by the Inka poo Paper Indians and are threatened with execution after breaking their laws. It’s looking bad for Jim, Judy, and the Cinnamon Bear. Suspense builds, but we haven’t seen the last of the Crazy Quilt Dragon just yet. Just when the Silver Star is almost within reach, a new obstacle arises in the form of a blue polka dot whale. Note: Glanville Heisch not only wrote the script, he also penned most of the lyrics to the songs, which were sung by the Paul Taylor Quartet. The popularity of the series never wavered. In the mid 1980s, its fan club, the Cinnamon Bear Brigade, had over 400 members, making it larger than most OTR clubs.

Ride along to join the confrontation with the famous Mexican revolutionary. Gun battles, damsels in distress, rescues, escapes, and bravery. Will the treasure be found? Not today. PS: though these are undated episodes, judging from the song near the beginning, my guess is that this one aired during the Christmas season.

Ever since seeing Ronald Coleman in a movie recently, Fibber has developed a British accent. To top off the affect, he also grew a mustache. The Old Timer pops in with a home remedy his grandma used to heal anything from scrapes to missing limbs. Mayor Latrivia is next to visit, but will he notice the new mustache? The mayor tells that he just bought the Gildersleeve place, and wants to know about the troublesome neighbor. Martha Tilton sings, Kiss the Boy Goodbye. Adding to his new look, Fibber has even Removed the crystal from his watch to use as a monocle. A deliveryman drops off some new clothes to keep the look going. spats, yellow gloves, but where’s the purple smoking jacket? Harlowe Wilcox enters to learn about the new look. He may not notice the new mustache, but he has enough to spin into a sponsor message. Teeny arrives with news of getting to go see Santa Claus. Does she get all the things she asks from Santa? She blames it on his secretary. Proud of his new fashions, Fibber brags about being Mill Dude McGee. The Kingsmen sing, Rosey O’Day. Abigail Uppington barely recognizes Fibber in his new look. But will she notice the new mustache? She has her own trouble in the new city parking lots. Trying to see where his smoking jacket is, Fibber gets Mirt on the phone, and finds out about a relative who got stuck in a revolving door. The Old Timer returns with another of his grandma’s concoctions. Will any of the remedies help the mustache grow?

Clark is on the way to the office of Perry White as he greets a few folks with Christmas greetings. Perry and Lois have been trying to catch Clark at being Superman, and expose his real identity. Will they be able to do it in this episode? Using his X-Ray vision, he’s tipped off and makes a get away before he can be lured into Perry’s trap. Meanwhile Clark visits with Batman, the only person who he has admitted his secret identity to. He explains previous events from earlier episodes, and they talk about how to handle keeping his secret. The thing to do is to make Perry believe he’s wrong about Clark. What’s Batman’s plan? Batman rearranges Clarks face, with make up of course. Will it fool the ship captain? Will he be revealed as Superman? Stay tuned for the next exciting adventure. If only it still existed. Rats. Before the exciting conclusion of the episode, the announcer shares a few words on the real meaning of Christmas, lasting peace, and what the Bible says about it. PS: This sounds like a fun series, too bad this is the only episode in this particular run of the show.

Molly has wonderful news for her hubby when he arrives home. Has uncle Dennis moved out? Even better, a letter with the opportunity to invest in cosmetic clay that rejuvenates the skin. Abigail Uppington arrives with her own good news. She has also found the investment opportunity, and laid out $500 for a half interest. But wait, how many half interests can there be? Molly already bought a half interest. The Kingsmen sing, Katey Did. Fibber is ready to call the Better Business Bureau, when the Old Timer visits. He has also bought a half interest, but so far, everybody has paid different amounts for their half. On the phone again, Fibber learns how the phone operator, Mirt,. sister-in-law threw her husband out the window. Harlowe Wilcox visits. Has he also invested in the phony clay? He has a better pitch to save on rough hands. Before the McGee’s can run down town, Teeny pops in to hear about the investment. She makes Fibbers take time to tell her a story. Martha Tilton sings, Jim. After hearing Fibber’s complaint, Billy Mills claims to be too smart to fall for phony schemes,, he found a better investment… cosmetic clay, and he paid yet a different dollar amount for his half interest. Has even Wallace Wimple been taken in by the cosmetic clay deal? His latest run in with his big old wife, Sweetie Face has to do with him giving up his day job to join the Navy. The mayor visits to say the scammer has been caught, and money will be refunded, but Fibber might still be in hot water with Molly.

Jim and Judy are twins who are getting ready for Christmas. They go to the attic for more decorations, particularly the silver star for their tree. Instead, they find the Cinnamon Bear, named Paddy OCinnamon. When the bear seems to come to life, they set out on a fantasy adventure. Note: The Cinnamon Bear is an old time radio program. The program was produced by TRANSCO, the Transcription Company of America and specifically designed to be listened to (six days a week – excluding Sundays) between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was first broadcast between Friday, November 26, and Saturday December 25, 1937. The story focused on Judy and Jimmy Barton who must venture from their home to the enchanted world of Maybeland to recover their missing Silver Star that belongs on top of their Christmas tree. Helping on this quest for the missing star is The Cinnamon Bear, a stuffed bear with shoe button eyes and a green scarf. A Navy flier was home for Christmas 1943. While travelling, he gets a telegram that calls himback to duty at Great Lakes. Time is tight, but a fellow traveller describes how the Lieutenant can still make a short lay over, and see his girlfriend, and still make it to the base in time. When trains stop running on Christmas day, a phone call young lovers still find time to meet. Susan is able to come to meet Joe, but with no place to go, what will the young couple have to do far from home? Stranded and hungry, Rockford Junction is far from the most ideal place for Christmas. Harry picks up the couple, but where is the diner he promised to take them to? The cryptic man, boardering on creepy stalker, takes them to his own house to enjoy the holiday with his own family. Their time together is spent in comfort, with an adopted family, but it runs short. As Joe prepares to return to the train station he sings, Silent Night.

Abner expresses his doubts to Lum about the insanity plea. He’s sure that Squire Skimp, and the rest of folks in Pine Ridge know him well enough to know he ain’t crazy. Lum tries to give him ideas to make him appear insane. Funny hats, paper dolls, but will the behavior pass the test of the local medical authority? The gents wonder over why Napoleon has one hand in his coat. Elsewhere, Squire talks two the county medical authority. The doc meets Lum, who directs him to Abner, but along the way, Lum’s chatter makes the doc think that he’s the patient instead. The plans to make Abner seem insane are shared, only to make it seem ee=ven more that Lum is the crazy one. Once Abner appears, his responses work to make it seem he’s only appeasing a crazy Lum. Things certainly look bad for the progress of the case, but what direction will it go next?

Shotgun is a man who is looking for Dancing Dan, and thinks that Broadway might know how to find him. Not wanting to rock the boat, and to preserve his own lifespan, Broadway goes out of his way to avoid places where he might cross paths with Dancing Dan. The inevitable happens though, and Dan lets Broadway know that he’s going on the strait and narrow. Before Dan sets out for his new life, he wants to stop by to say goodbye to his pal Charlie. Both he and Broadway are surprised to find their friend Oakie in a Santa Claus suit. He needs the job to pick up a nice gift for his wife, but with the cold, and snowy night, Dan is afraid Oakie will catch cold, or worse. Showing some goodwill towards men, Dan offers to wear the suit so Oakie can stay warm. Word spreads fast, and Shotgun is sure to find out about the switch with the Santa suit. Will it help for Broadway to accompany Dan to keep him safe? The stress level kicks up for Broadway when he learns that Dan has $50K worth of jewelry in a packag that he plans to deliver to his girl, Muriel. When Dan arrives at Muriel’s, will he be filling up some stockings, or will Shotgun be waiting to fill Dan with lead? Does Dan have any other options than to flee town, or be gunned down? Later, while Broadway is back in the bar, he learns from Goodtime Charlie what happened that night after Dan ran off. Listen in, and you’ll know what happened to the big hearted Dan, including reconciling with Shotgun.

She finds the guys every bit of wolves as Hope and Crosby, but will they be energetic enough to match all her “Road” pictures? Oscar can’t sing like Bing, and Al doesn’t joke like Bob. How’s Al’s love making technique? It’s more about the music, but they still don’t hold much sex appeal for Dorothy. * My Gal Sal. (Jolson)

Homicide Detail. A man is shot down in the street, and Joe Friday has to track down the shooter. It was a mild January day for the night shift, as Joe and Ed discuss desserts, and trouble with in laws. When a domestic dispute case comes in, the cops realize how good they have when hearing how bad the family lives of others are. Responding to the call, Joe and Ed interview neighbors who thought the shooting was rowdy teenagers. Details of the fleeing man being shot multiple times is recounted. He’s now in critical condition, and in the care of medical authorities. It’s clear though, that his wife did the shooting , but where is she now? Neighbors continue to tell the story of the hot headed woman, and arguments. Preparing to surround, and rush the small cottage, it becomes evident that Mrs Radford snuck out in the earlier confusion. As the cops plan on checking with friends and family on where she may be, a neighbor close to the Radford’s, and with a gift of gab, manages to keep the woman on the line, but will it be enough to trace her phone calls? Can she be tempted to come out of hiding? Why can’t the phone calls be traced? When the cops recognize the sound of a passing streetcar, her position, and telephone booth where she is calling are identified.

Simon dresses up as Santa for a charitable cause, but he needs a little help in filling out hiw suit, and his ho ho ho. A dame, claiming to be Sally, barges in with a gun, but doesn\t have the heart to use it. When more visitors come, Sally flees the scene. Then Mr Hudsondemands the same kind of package as Sally, though its a matter that Simon knos nothing about. Was it Sally’s gunshot from the kitchen that frightened away the insistent Hudson? Checking up on Sally’s workplace, the santa suited Simon finds a wisecracking butler, and missing jewels from the swanky high rise penthouse. Joined by his cabbie friend Louie, Simon chases the trail to another apartment on the low rent side of town, and the body of the missing santa. Putting the squeeze on their man, Simon begins to unravel a tangled mess of a love triangle. Now it\s a matter of following their noses to a killer. Danger awaits before the crime is solved, but will Simon ever make it to the job he originally took on to dress as santa?
