We're getting closer to the end, with the playoffs wrapping up-- Scotty talks about the Kelly Cup finalists and one-half of the Calder Cup finalists. Anthony Mantha is facing heat for his lackluster first professional season, while Dave Andrews talks about the AHL realignments and how the New York teams were necessarily going to be grouped in the same division, plus confirming the California teams will get less games. Speaking of California, Bakersfield and the Condors are gearing up for the AHL frontier, while Syracuse is gearing up for the AHL All-Star Game. In this week's Farm Report, Scotty reviews the AHL and ECHL playoffs thus far, Danny Biega is feeling more confident in his game, all thanks to just ten games in the NHL; while the city of Biloxi is confident they'll get another minor league hockey team-- but not this upcoming season. This week, Scotty breaks down the new AHL alignment, as well as the weird scenario that may have the California AHL teams playing only 68 games as opposed to 76. Regardless of the number, the Stockton Heat are ready to go, at least by how Brian Burke and Brad Pascall are talking. The Fort Wayne Komets wonder what could have been this season and what could happen with their affiliation status, while the members of the 2008-09 Albany River Rats recollect their horrific bus accident in the wake of a minor league baseball teams own tragic happening. On this edition of the Farm Report, Scotty talks about the purchase of the Missouri Mavericks by powerful local businessman who is determined to expand the brand of the team. Justin Cseter returned to the scene of his horrific injury and talks about how, to him, it's not that big a deal anymore. The Canadian AHL teams are feeling a big pinch due to the declining dollar, while the ECHL reformatted their divisions for the 2015-16 season. As expected, this week's episode is all about what has happened during the AHL and ECHL Board of Governors meetings and the press conferences to announce all the changes. Scotty will talk about the changes and the fallout of the cities that are effected both positively and negatively. The AHL also had an All-Star Classic in Utica, which couldn't have gone off better; while the Pensacola Ice Flyers wish their arena had a better schedule to allow them to practice. This week, the ECHL All-Star Classic happened in Orlando and Scotty will have results from the event and what some reserves who didn't get a chance to go did during the break. The South Carolina Stingrays are going to the city of Charleston are talking about keeping the team in town the financial losses to a minimum. The William Nylander Show is in town in Toronto and he seems to be adjusting to the media and game slowly but surely. On this week's Farm Report, Scotty talks about the great piece done by ESPN's Katie Strang about Cory LaRose's venture out of and back into hockey and how the Charlotte Checkers are helping him get his love for the game back. Many writers in the ECHL thinks there needs to be a little more justice when guys get plucked from to the AHL, but sometimes it's not the league's fault in that. The Norfolk Admirals have a lot of tough guys on their roster, but thanks to adapting, they've become more valuable than just throwing fists.
