The schedules are all out for every minor league, so you can go ahead and plan your road trips. However, there are some that are not happy about it at all and are letting others know about-- and we'll let you know about it. While Winnipeg has re-upped with St. John's for another year, there seems to be competitors with Thunder Bay on a possible destination closer to the Jets to call-up prospects-- we'll talk about that. The city of Elmira now owns their own team-- we'll talk about what that means to them and how cool their arena is. Also, speaking of cool arenas, we'll talk about the new PPL Center, Shannon Szabados re-signing in Columbus, the CHL getting....stronger?? This week, the Kelly Cup was going way up north, as the Alaska Aces go ahead and win a record championship in the ECHL. The Syracuse Crunch look to break a record in attendance with their latest announcement, as well as break some travel records for their pre-season tour. The SPHL had their owner's meetings and trying to make sure the league lasts was top spot on the agenda. The Arizona Sundogs are trying to bury their owner's and management in the name of selling tickets, while the Fort Wayne Komets hope to not get buried with top players leaving for Europe. The Calder Cup Finals are underway Sunday night and the Kelly Cup Finals are almost a wrap; Scotty will dive into both to give you news and updates there. Does Cincinnati know they're in the Kelly Cup Finals?? Attendance figures say not so much, but we'll look to see the reasoning behind the small crowds in Cincy. The ECHL and CHL have announced their schedules with one not having a playoff format and another not having a true number of teams-- but the hype behind it should be good enough for anyone getting ready for October. The Protected Lists are also out for the ECHL and Fort Wayne GM David Franke breaks it down for us from a fundamental standpoint. All that, plus some quick hits and We Hardly Knew Ye.

This week, Scotty dives into the situation concerning Devan Dubnyk's tenure and what he had to say after being demoted to the AHL this season. This week brought changes to the Washington Capitals and their affiliations, as well as aligning all Pennsylvania teams together in one little cluster.
