It's the opening weekend for the SPHL and Scotty has plenty to talk about it, including the new team in Roanoke starting 2016-17. Also, how the Peoria fan base rallied around being scorned by the St. Louis Blues to support the Rivermen regardless of the league they decided to go into. A trio of Calgary boys are heading to Fayetteville in order to help the FireAntz get back into the playoffs, while Rob Madore is heading to yet another team, but learning each step of the way. A travel edition this week with Scotty by first talking about Justin Peters move back to the AHL and how he's coping with it. Moving up the east coast, as Rob Schremp returns to North America after four season overseas and how he feels it effected his career in the long-run. In this installment of the Farm Report, Scotty looks at the changes in affiliations (and the new rule that comes with it) for the ECHL, as well as coaching vacancies filled around the minor leagues. Two schools of thought from the AHL, as Mitch Callahan doesn't want to be back, while Matt Murray doesn't have a choice. The Denver Grizzlies one year in the IHL could be the reason the Avalanche are there today-- as well as News and Notes, plus We Hardly Knew Ye.

This edition of the Farm Report will have Scotty talk about his new venture over at TheSinBin.net, which should be a solid venture for all parties. What's not great for all parties is the new AHL schedule, which will create all kinds of math problems. The Fort Wayne Komets came up with a plan for the ECHL to have a system akin to the baseball Double-A system, but not all teams are on-board. The Rapid City Rush are preparing for their second season in the ECHL with their first true off-season, while the Pensacola Ice Flyers are looking to have even more success in the SPHL on and off the ice. After some time off, Scotty Wazz is back to give you the news that happened since he was gone-- like all the coaching changes in the AHL and ECHL. Speaking of change-- Lamar Hunt, Jr. has some thoughts on the changes he's made since taking over the Missouri Mavericks. More change is happening thanks to winning for the cities of Toledo, Utica, Manchester, and Rockford; while there are a lot of names changing in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's media guide next season. But nothing ever changes in the Federal Hockey League, as it is still a gongshow. All that, a little news and notes, and We Hardly Knew Ye.

In the last weekly podcast for the season, Scotty wraps up the playoffs in all their forms. Former Ontario Reign president Justin Kemp breaks his silence and talks about how he knew Ontario would host AHL hockey some day. Paul Bissonnette played a key role in the mentoring of Adrian Kempe in his first venture into North American hockey. Derek Hulak hasn't forgotten about his friends, especially Cody Smuk. Better late than never for this Farm Report edition, as Scotty goes over the playoff fantasticness. The Utica area has been brought alive by the play of the Comets and the city is regaining some pride because of it. Looking forward to 2016, the Oklahoma City area is primed to be picked for minor league hockey; which is something that will happen sooner rather than later. It's been a while for Scott Ford when it comes to getting to a championship series again, but he's making sure he enjoyed every moment of the South Carolina Stingrays' run. The FHL is a mess...and Scotty is trying to make sense of the league as a whole. All that, News and Notes, plus We Hardly Knew Ye.
