This week, Scotty Wazz wraps up the AHL and ECHL seasons. The Portland Pirates former owner and the city were only $45,000 apart from a new lease, which we'll detail at length. There's new affiliations, new coaches, and News and Notes, plus we can't forget We Hardly Knew Ye.

On an AHL-centric Farm Report, Scotty talks about the shocking move from the Portland Pirates out of Maine and into Springfield, plus what it could mean for that market in terms of minor pro hockey. Derek Ryan took the odd route to the NHL, but his single season in the AHL could have given him a big bargaining chip this off-season and provided the Charlotte Checkers with the direction they needed for the future. It's been rough to the a New Jersey Devils' AHL team, but with a fresh brass and system, Rick Kowalsky seems to have righted that ship. All that, plus News and Notes and We Hardly Knew Ye.

With the Tucson move continuing the trend of closer affiliations, what does it mean for St. John's and the IceCaps?? Balancing school and hockey is tough when in college, but Anthony Calabrese is taking it to another level in the pros. On this week's Farm Report, Scotty discusses the fall out from the brutal hit that Mike Simchuk put on Kyle Rank and how the SPHL addressed the hit and the possible actions of coach Jerome Bechard. George Johnson's expose of Stockton sends back to Calgary fans the redemption the city hopes to get and how it centers around the AHL franchise. Patrick Kaleta is honing a different style of game this year for the Rochester Americans and it has helped the younger players get more room to work their craft. Also, Matthew Peca is trying his best to get his name away from Michael Peca, only because they aren't related like people assume. All that, plus News and Notes and We Hardly Knew Ye.

This week, Scotty reviews the Golden State Hockey Rush, while also finding out about the history some of the Stockton Heat players already have with outdoor games. Peter Budaj has brought his career out of the doldrums and all it took was the right attitude. The Reading Royals seemed to have a bad attitude towards the higher-ups in the minor-pro landscape, especially when their top guys are getting called up without much courtesy. The roads of Josh Currie and Madison Bowey to the AHL have some cross-section, but very different overall. All that, plus News and Notes and We Hardly Knew Ye.
