In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers and their Sunday loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars at Acrisure Stadium. The Steelers had a few key injuries on Sunday against the Jaguars, so we update the latest information that we have on those two players, QB Kenny Pickett and S Minkah Fitzpatrick, on the heels of head coach Mike Tomlin holding a Monday press conference. We also discuss the possibility of DT Cameron Heyward and RB Anthony McFarland Jr. being activated off the Reserve/Injured list this week. Speaking of Tomlin's Monday presser, Alex and I spend a lot of time going over a few things that he had to say earlier in the day. He gave us quite a few quotes to go over. The Steelers play the Jaguars on Sunday so with that, we are pleased to be joined by Demetrius Harvey on this Friday episode. Demetrius covers the Jaguars for the Florida Times-Union, and we discuss the Sunday game with him for about 20 minutes. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers big road win on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams to move to 4-2 on the season. We discuss how this was another rock throwing game and how the Steelers have somehow found a way to be 11-4 since their 2022 bye week and where a lot of that credit needs to go. The Steelers made a few Saturday roster moves that Alex and I recap early in this show. we also discuss the team's week Seven inactive list prior to the Sunday game. The Steelers offense looked a bit better on Sunday against the Rams so Alex and I start on that side of the football. We discuss the play of the unit and several individual players in this segment. A lot of Sunday stats are discussed, and we talk about how QB Kenny Pickett came up clutch yet again late in the contest. We talk running game on Sunday and scheme in this segment as well. We also discuss several big plays on that side of the football. Alex and I then move over to the defensive side of the football to talk about that unit’s play on Sunday against the Rams. We discuss the big play made early in the second half by OLB T.J. Watt and how S Minkah Fitzpatrick once again led the team in tackles. Several of the Steelers defensive rookies are highlighted in this segment along with multiple plays that the Rams made on offense.
