theyAreGhost, Bone Chilling Killing Field Right At Home | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 00:55:29

Ghost is a California raised gender non-conforming artist, born July 1991 in Riverside California. Learning from the greats, Ghost started honing their storytelling abilities by listening to rappers such as 2Pac, The Nortorious B.I.G, Nas, and Ludacris. When Ghost decided to make a YouTube channel and start rapping they were heavily inspired by Logic, who opened up Ghost’s eyes to the fact that peace, love and positivity could make money in the rap game. Now listening to artists such as Kid Cudi, J Cole and CHIKA Ghost has crafted themselves into a Swiss army knife of flows, easily able to go from a hard hitting rap verse to a melodic hook. A Champion for mental health, Ghost’s lyrics speak about their struggle with their own mental health and the darkness it brings, while trying to spread the message of positivity and acceptance. As a parent Ghost’s Children are a big inspiration for their music, much of what Ghost talks about is what they want to see change in the future for their kids. In 2021 Ghost met Lincoln, Nebraska based rapper Jinx and his Brother, Producer Cryptic-X, and immediately hit it off with both of them. 7 months later Ghost took a flight out to Lincoln and founded Killing Field Records with Jinx and while recording their first Album at Cryptic-X’s studio. Not showing any signs of slowing down, Ghost made a big move in April 2022 and moved from California to Lincoln, Nebraska to run the label. On August 7th, 2022 Ghost released their first studio album "Ghost Stories" featuring a beat from Cryptic-X on the opening track. We are talking all about his new label in fact, his relationship with other musicians, skills and techniques to production and musical creativity, and much more. If you into this "Bone Chilling" discovery, show him your support by checking out more of his music and record label!  ANDE, Global Exclusive | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:07:27

Tonight's guest goes by ANDE or Andrew, he's 20 years old and he loves to create music. he would considers himself to be a Producer along with a Recording, Mixing and Mastering Engineer. He finished his Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Audio Production at the SAE Institute in Glasgow which is something he is proud of as the course is tough as it is a 3 year degree into 2 and it is a great place to study. There are many SAE’s over the world and he is lucky enough to have been able to study at one of them. He is lucky enough to have the opportunity to work on the campus’ Neve VR console which he has recorded some projects in the past and both of his final projects were based around studio recording with one EP and one album both being written, produced, mixed and mastered in two 12 week blocks each. Given his age and the fact that he had only set foot in that particular studio in August 2021 he is happy with his progress, What he knows and what he has been able to achieve. He has recorded Vocals, Full Kit and Half Kit Drums, Electric Guitars, re-amping anything and everything, Bass and Acoustic Guitar, Pianos with a myriad of microphones over these last few months. He is comfortable mixing on Pro Tools and Ableton, Ableton is his preference as he thinks they have some fantastic stock plugins but he does like to bounce between DAWs. At the end of the day, it really depends on what sort of track he is working on. Some of what he's mixed has appeared on the home page of the website. Practice makes perfect and he finds himself practicing even in his spare time because he honestly find it enjoyable. He has had many client jobs in the past which have called for mixing on Ableton and Pro Tools. He has mastered tracks on Ableton, Pro Tools and Wavelab 9 and he is equally as comfortable on all 3 of these DAWs. As of now, Mastering is his most popular service to date! Take a listen to some of the masters he has done on his home page. Quality is his number 1 priority, he is a perfectionist even I will unhealthily obsess over parts I do not like until I feel it is up to standard. High standards are incredibly important to him. Speaking of high standards, yall are getting a piece of someone with such with talks about his newest single, 'SOMETHING TO TELL ME', engineer advice, experience in the music industry, and lots of jokes!
