We opened the show with sad news of the day after Kaizer Chiefs confirmed that midfielder Wiseman Meyiwa’s promising career has to come to an end due to injuries sustained in a car accident last year. We spoke to Chiefs team doctor Hashendra Ramjee and Vina Maphosa. For business of sport we invited the South African Football Players Union to talk about the initative they have with Standard Bank that is aimed at improving the life skills and financial literacy of footballers in South Africa and we will joined in studio by SAFPU President Thulaganyo Gaoshubelwe. We will also hear from Rishern Pillay who is the Senior Manager Employer Value Banking at Standard Bank.

Boxing Wednesdays - We opened the show Boxing SA's Director of Operations Cindy Nkomo to talk about the provincial managers vacancies. Rodney Berman and Terris Ntutu joined us to talk about the Super 4 Boxing tournament. We also hosted former 2 time IBF champion Mzonke Fana.

We caught up with SA road cyclist Daryl Impey following his victory down under. We also spoke to Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur ahead of the final ODI against South Africa. We then hosted former Proteas spin bowler Paul Adams, live at our Cape Town studio.

We found out the latest regarding Former Proteas Batsman Gulam Bodoi’s case of match-fixing from his former laywer Sinenhlanhla Mnguni. We then hosted our special guest, Cape Town City attacker Kermit Erasmus, live from our Cape Town studios.

We went over to England to chat to Football Writer for Press Association Sport Nick Mashiter ahead of the FA Cup forth round between Arsenal vs Man United. For flash back Friday we were joined live in Studio by former Sundowns and Bafana Bafana midfielder Bennett Mnguni.

SABC Sport senior reporter Velile Mnyandu gave us a low down of what took place at Phil Masinga's funeral. We also discussed the issue of man of the match with PSL Media and Communications manager Luxolo September. For business of Sport, we caught up with Cricket South Africa CEO Thabang Moroe and CEO of AmaTuks High-Performance Centre and Tuks Sport Acting Director Toby Sutcliffe

Boxing Wednesdays – We caught up with legendary former British boxer Chris Eubank. We then turned our focus onto amateur boxing and we were joined by president of South African National Boxing Organisation Mr Andile Mofu

We went over to France and caught up with former Springboks and Sharks flyhalf Pat Lambie, following his retirement from Rugby over the weekend to protect his health. Tiso Black Star sports reporter Khanyiso Tshwaku also joined to pay tribute to Lambie. Part2 of our look into school sport and tonight we looked at school's football. We spoke to the President of SASFA Mandla Mazibuko.

We spoke to the former Netball Proteas captain Zanele Mdodana to reflect on the quad series in England. We were also joined by the Director General for the department of sport Alec Moemi to explain to us draft school policy for public schools and different roles of all stakeholders. Founder of Physical Education Institute of South Africa Norman Mphake was also part of the conversation.

Flash Back Friday - Our guest was former South African cricket captain and coach Gary Kirsten. We also revisited the Orkey disaster story where 42 fans lost their lives in a stampede during a friendly match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. Former Sowetan Sports Reporter Molefe Mika joined us.

We spoke to former Springboks hooker Naka Drotské to find out how is he doing after he was shot twice during an attempted robbery in December last year. For business of Sport we spoke to ICASA's Palesa Kadi about the Sports Broadcasting draft regulations that say certain sports must be made available to free-to-air broadcasters. Media Monitor Director William Bird also joined the conversation.

We continued with our Boxing Wednesdays. We reviewed the Haney vs Ndongeni match with Sean Smith. Xolisani 'Nomeva' Ndongeni joined us live in studio to talk about his first professional loss. Boxing SA CEO Tsholo Lejaka also came on to talk to us about the 2019 Boxing Awards nominations.

Former Leeds United coach Howard Wilkinson joined us to pay tribute to the late Phil Masinga. For careers in Sport we were joined in studio by Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rulani Mokwena, talking about what it takes to be a coach.

We dedicated a big part of the show to the late Phil Masinga. Paying tribute were Leeds United Supporters Trust Vice-Chairman Robert Endeacott, Lucas Radebe, former Sundowns striker Raphael Chukwu. SA Masters and Legends Football Association President Buddha Mathathe also featured. We also caught with Proteas batsman and stand-in captain Dean Elgar.

we spoke to Netball SA coach Norma Plummer ahead of the Quad Series that starts on Sunday against Australia, England and New Zealand. The Australian Open gets underway on Monday and we previewed the tournament with Tennis Analyst Bruce Davidson. On our Flashback Friday feature where we celebrate our sporting heroes and we reflected on the illustrious career of Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana legend Hleman Mkhalele who was part of Bafana’s AFCON winning squad in 1996.
