We continued with our Freedom day build up and celebrated the legacy of the late Khaya Majola, a former cricketer and administrator. Hoosain Ayob was our guest. Johnny Jacobs - President of St Augustine Cricket club helped us tell the story of the late South African born - former England cricketer Basil D’Oliveira.

Part Three of our Freedom day build-up, We spoke to a devout boxing fan Joy Greyvenstein who has been honoured by Boxing SA for her passion for the sport. The boxing community call her MamCirha and she will tells us what attracted her to boxing. We also highlighted the contribution made by legendary Boxing Administrator Mr Les Muller. Muller's protégé Mava Malla and boxing trainer Loyiso Mtya paid tribute.

We spoke to Blanche Moila (Queen of the Road) who made history in 1984 when she became the first black female athlete to be awarded Springbok Colours. SAFA President Danny Jordaan talked to us about SA being re-admitted back into international football. We also spoke to the great Vusi "Computer" Lamola about the SA Black eleven team that beat Argentina at Rand Stadium in 1976.

We spoke to Former SA Sports Minister Ngconde Balfour about SA Sport pre and post 1994 elections, unification talks, transformation and quota systems as part of our freedom day build up. Also joining the conversation was Mayihlome Tshwete to reflect on the role his father Steve Tshwete played in sport. The struggle icon is SA’s first sports minister in a democratic state.

We spoke to Two Oceans Chairman Rodney Maharaj about potential threats which led to route change ahead of the race. Our Flash back Friday guest was long distance running legend and 2001 Comrades Marathon winner Andrew Kelehe.

We spoke to Two Oceans Marathon's Debra Barnes about the upcoming race and the fact that it might not be on SABC TV for the first time in 50 years. We got the latest on the Bloem Celtic fans that appeared in court for public violence from SABC Sport reporter Tebogo Letsaba. Bafana Bafana Team Manager Barney Kujane was our guest on Careers In Sport.

We looked forward to the Two Oceans Marathon with the women's 2018 champion Gerda Steyn while we also got tips from Nick Bester on how to prepare for the race. We also reviewed The Masters with James Kamte who qualified for the U.S Open in 2009 where he played in a practice round alongside Tiger Woods.

We spoke to Michael February who is a South African professional surfer and the first black African to qualify for the World Surf League. We also caught up with former SA youth international Gabriel 'Ninja' Mofokeng to find out what he's up to now and how he looks back at his career. Marks Maponyane talked to us about his initiative where he shares his knowledge and life lessons with current players and communities at large.

We spoke to Mamelodi Sundowns winger Thapelo Morena about their 5-0 victory over Al Ahly in CAF Champions League. We also discussed opposing views on whether all South Africans should be supporting the team that is playing in the champions league with sports commentator Thabiso Tema and New Frame Sport Editor Njabulo Ngidi. Afrikaans musician Robbie Wessels spoke to us on the song he has dedicated to former Springboks flyhalf Pat Lambie.
