An 18 year veteran of the the festival, Sue also serves as president of Space Coast United Filmmakers and Associates, said she strives to create movies with heart, but that sentimentality is generally frowned upon in the elite echelons of the movie industry and that romantic comedies are very different now than they were in the days of Clark Gable, according to a Florida Today article. Jake doesn’t believe in giving up and as long as he breathes he will make a choice to make this world we call earth a better place. “We Can Do This!” Since puberty, Chuck has been doing character voices. In 1984, as a nightclub DJ, Chuck began doing radio commercials for nightclubs and bars in the Philadelphia area. He was a DJ at a few radio stations in Philadelphia while attending Temple University in the 1980s. Although it was Chuck's dream to become a radio DJ. he was making five times more in nightclubs, with better hours and better perqs. Chuck retired from being a DJ in 1998 when he took a job with Time Life Music as their Media and Internet manager. Chuck ran out of Time in 2000 for Florida, where he began selling his voice full-time. Chuck was one of the first voice talents with a completely digital studio. When the radio industry collapsed in the mid-2000s, the voice talent industry became oversaturated with ex-DJs, so Chuck retired and opened Computer Care Clinic in Melbourne. Now that the dust has settled, Chuck has warmed up his voice and has actively become a leading voice talent again. A true red-blooded American, the tough, but lovable Hacksaw Jim Duggan always marched to the ring with a 2×4 slung over his shoulder and a red, white and blue flag gripped tightly in his hand. Often going up against underhanded foreign villains, Duggan would always get the crowd behind him by inspiring massive chants of “U.S.A.! U.S.A.!” that would shake the rafters and intimidate his opponents. For more than two decades, “Hacksaw” defended America’s honor in the ring and enjoyed distinction as one of the most recognizable Superstars in the world. Duggan’s immense popularity did not come overnight, though. An exceptional athlete, “Hacksaw” was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons, but was later cut due to knee injuries. With his football career over, Duggan turned his attention to sports-entertainment. Starting out in the late ’70s, the powerful grappler competed across the country under the name “Big” Jim Duggan. The tough guy clearly had strength and charisma, but there was little to distinguish him from the hundreds of other brawlers ruling the rings at the time. The 2×4 would be firmly in Duggan’s grasp when he joined WWE in 1987. Wasting no time in displaying his patriotism, “Hacksaw” immediately locked up with the massive Russian known as Nikolai Volkoff and had many hard-hitting matches with the dangerous Soviet. The following year, “Hacksaw” had one of the biggest victories of his career when he won the inaugural Royal Rumble by eliminating One Man Gang. The victory was proof that Duggan was the real deal. In 1998, “Hacksaw” was diagnosed with kidney cancer. The disease was an intimidating opponent for a man who had locked up with the likes of Andre the Giant, but Duggan refused to go down without a fight. Thanks to early detection and “Hacksaw’s” unbreakable spirit, he beat cancer and amazingly returned to the ring with little time off. Duggan has made sporadic appearances in WWE over the last few years, but his popularity has never waned. Still carrying his 2×4 and waving Old Glory proudly, “Hacksaw” is a bona fide legend in the ring and truly deserving of his spot in WWE’s Hall of Fame class of 2011.
