I want to talk about solar today, mainly because there's so much misinformation out there:   How did it get so politicized?The simple answer is,  it's a money grab, but it's not as much as you'd believe.U.S. spends $1.2T annually on energy, but that's all energy.How’s that pay for free college, free healthcare and basic guaranteed income?Only about half of that is electric around $600B.Medicare budget $700B.Can't fund the New Green Lie with $1.2T .Here's another dirty little fact, it's still very expensive.Even if 100% of the energy was produced by solar (for free) the cost won't be free.The only reason so many people are going to solar is because of the grantsGovernment pushing in money, creating artificial demand.What does artificial demand do? Solar is great, so that leaves one question. How do we rationally and sensibly take advantage of it? Texas girl, 17, stabs newborn to death minutes after giving birth. On February 9th a 17-year-old Texas girl repeatedly stabbed her newborn just minutes after it was born then dumped the body at a neighbor’s home and went to sleep. Well isn't that a lovely story. What do you expect in a time of disposable babies. If you don't want it you kill it. Isn't that what's being taught? How could you not expect this kind of thing to happen? Mother Teresa was right. Abortion is the greatest destroyer of peace today.  as long as the act of a mother murdering her unborn child is normalized there is no other moral boundary. There's a deep bond between the military and the country we've served. The patriotism runs deep, it’s a  flag we are proud of, people we are proud of, both the ones we served and ones we served with, and a country we are proud of. For those reasons I’m happy to share the story of Michael Campofiori. Michael always dreamed of becoming a United States Marine, but at age 11 he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He was able to overcome the disease and go on to earn the title, United States Marine. It’s an inspiring story for anyone. There is a very precise and predictable path to living a successful, rewarding and fulfilling life.  And, it's largely in your control. But it's also like planting a tree. But if you can have the perspective to step back and look at over time you see something magnificent. Just like planting a seed you don't just dump it on the ground and hope for the best. Little by little it grows roots, a little seedling develops and before you know it there's a little tree That MATURES over time The only difference is that in our lives we pick that path of maturity.
